OMG... Especially the big girls one made me nauseaus  It's this program on television here, where actors do a singing contest... oh my...
No words... there are no words...
So what's your opinion...?

hihi, Well, it's not a thread to be mean, more meant to be funny... and idd, Mika sings his songs best of course, but I have heard better versions than these two...

Oh god :boxed:
They were awful... both of them.
The first one (Guillaume) tried to do a Mika imitation but man, did that fail! Listen mr Guilaume; it's NOT because you wear tight pants that you ARE Mika :mf_rosetinted:
And Grace Kelly... well... Mark obviously couldn't reach the high notes.
Well: Mika 1 - Singing actors: 0 (and I'm being nice here!:sneaky2: )

 :trumpet: These covers by non-English speakers make me want to poke holes in my eardrums.
I think it goes without saying that no one is going to do an acceptable cover of a song like Grace Kelly, but when their pronunciation is off it makes me want to scream.
The first time I heard that French talent show contestant do Grace Kelly I couldn't get it out of my mind for weeks and it drove me crazy. For the love of god, please stop with these hideous covers!!! :annoyed_h4h:

Thanks for making me almost choke on my Nutella. :naughty:
That Grace Kelly video was just funny. At first when he did those "oooooh" and "yeaaaaah" I was already a bit giggling, but when the chorus started I just had to laugh. The high notes seemed to be kinda difficult for him and I was waiting for the moment when his voice totally breaks. :naughty:
Then again. I would be even worse.

Taken for itself, "Pfui!" is a colloquial and relatively mild way to express disgust (or at least something between disgust and rejection or disapproval--depending on the context):thumb_yello:

ALL the notes seem difficult for him. He appears to be tone deaf.
Even the piano and guitar suck ass.
This is worse than most of the American Idol auditions that they air just to embarrass the people who are so bad they couldn't make it to the first round.

I wasn't brave enough to listen to all the notes. :naughty:
I watched the video until he got to the chorus and then closed it. I am very sure I didn't miss anything that would change opinion about it anyway. :naughty:

If you all were talking Swedish right now we would just use a familiar quotation that goes about this:
They just don’t have the right jerk!:thumb_yello:
(Dom har inte den rätta knycken!)
It is from an Astrid Lindgren movie and this is a perfect opportunity to say so.
Poor guys … how could they ever be compared to Mika in a positive way on a Mika forum?:naughty:

No really, this isn't about Mika. This isn't an acceptable level of singing for any talent show contestant.
This guy was the worst American Idol contestant to make it to the TV rounds last year and he was panned by the judges and mocked mercilessly by the public. But even he can sing better.

This is what I call "Deaf Estonians".
Guys start singing Grace Kelly about 4:00 :naughty: I can't say their pronunciation is bad, because it doesn't sound like English at all. More like humming. Humming in a pig-got-stuck-in-the-fence way. :naughty:

Don't ask me? They aren't very clever I guess. :naughty:
They had the whole night to learn the lyrics and that's how far they got.:naughty:
After they had stopped singing the lady who was the judge said something like "Whyyyyy did they choose the wrong song?" :naughty:

Oh no, the answer should have been "They are such good musicians and that's their interpretation of the song. They planned to sing it like that from the beginning. Nothing to do with forgetting." :thumb_yello: :thumb_yello:

:roftl: Some guy threw "Mika" into the random lyrics at 4:42. And then he says "gotta be silent". :lmao:
That makes me laugh because they're just bad auditions. It's when they get on the stage and everyone is clapping like they're good that freaks me out.

I know. "Gotta be silent" - that made me laugh so much. :lmao:
Maybe he should listen to his own advice. :naughty:
I know. That's what I noticed in those videos that the poll is about. I mean how can someone be all enthusiastic and clap and scream while seeing such an awful performance. It might have been a show for the deaf though. I apologize if it was so. :mf_rosetinted:
