Mika won't get out of my head !!!!

It's a very strange feeling I have these days ! I DO try to think about something else than Mika ! I DO try to be sensible and behave like the adult woman I am supposed to be ! I DO try not to fantasize as a stupid fan ! But whatever I do, there is always something related to Mika that comes to disturb my good resolutions ! For example, the other day, I came in my colleague's car, he turned the radio on and we could hear Frankie Goes to Hollywood singing "Relax". Impossible not to think about Mika's song, "Relax, take it easy".
Yesterday, I watched a program about litterature as I often do on sunday mornings and then, there was the interview of a well-known French journalist who had written a book about his experience of being an hostage in Lebanon ! I didn't even know he was supposed to be invited !
Today, my colleague showed me a tree on our campus and told me "Look at this magnificent cedar". Well, I'm not very good in recognizing trees ans even though I have seen this one everyday for five years, I didn't really realize it was a cedar ! Why did my colleague feel the need of telling me this ? All of us know that the cedar is the emblem of Lebanon.
And just now, as I was going to buy some food, there was a man and a woman speaking in front of the door and the lady was saying "I have American friends who live in Lebanon...". I must admit I had to struggle with myself not to stay there and listen ! It's just as if I was purchased by all those coincidences related to Mika ! Do you think I need a cure ? Oh, maybe ! Hearing about Lebanon in France is not so exceptionnal ! But before, I didn't really pay attention to it. Maybe I should try to recover my brain ! But how can I do ??? Does that kind of odd things happen to you ?

Hmm...well Lebanon's been mentioned a lot in this post and I can totally understand why it reminds you of Mika! hehe...As for the "signs" that keep on brining you back to Mika...I guess it's natural feeling the way we do because we really admire him; know what I mean?

I liked the cedar tree coincidence :) Thing is, I hear about Lebanon every single day! My grandmother is Lebanese and we've incorporated a lot of the dialect into our Egyptian one - trust me, it does sound odd to others :p hehe...Okay, this reply is starting to turn into an autobiography! *zips mouth*

If I mention Mika to my family or friends again they'll throw an ashtray at me or something! lol You know, I'm so obsessed, even my two year old sister knows him! She does, honestly! You should hear her sing along to 'Grace Kelly' and 'Love Today', the girl's a star! hahahaha....

My friends said they'll try to cure my 'obsession' and I know it's impossible, because just like you I just can't get Mika or his music out of my head! hehehe

Lol i have the same problem. Well.. i wouldn't really call it a problem more a blessing! We get to think about him every second of the day and still get things done! (sometimes)

For example last week i had french homework that was supposed to be in the next day and we had to talk about someone with interesting fashion sense and say what the wear normally, wha they are wearing and what the wore! Who better to do my assesment on than the man with the most outrageous but gorgeous fashion sense than MIKA!!! :wub2:

In the end i got really good marks! He helped me through one of the subjects i'm worst at! The angel :angel_not:

yeah, the Mika syndrom:D I got it to, some days ago I tougth I saw a bus with Mika written on it. just wanted to take it to Mika.:) But it went to Vika not Mika:(

Beckar gets up in morning VERY quickly if Mika plays on Radio @ 7.30am ..which is quite alot, He also plays alot when i'm in my car..which is only about 30 minutes total of the day !!! - Grace KELLY (and i can picture him singing it)

He plays in my head alot through the day the rest of his album !!!

The other day, there was an advertisement on TV and I thought they were speaking of Mika... but in fact they were speaking of NOKIA cell-phones ! Realizing it, I gave myself a slap ! :boxed:

I know! I always try to talk about Mika to my friends and some are like, "you need to quit talking about him" and others are like, "who?" lol. Then the other day while I was watching t.v. there were two Grace Kelly references. The first was on America's Next Top Model - they told a girl that she looked like Grace Kelly and then I was watching a game show and the final question had to do with one of Grace Kelly's movies...I was thinking as if I don't already think about Mika enough....lol.

Reading this thread makes me feel not so bad now.....lol. Most of the people I hang around with think i'm crazily insane and completely obsessed, which.....i am. Because i'm always listening to Mika's Cd whether it be in the car going somewhere, on the computer when i'm on here or else where, or even while i'm falling asleep. If I don't have the chance to listen to Mika then i go through what i like to call *MIKA Withdraws* Which means i start craving to listen to his music even more(as if that's even possible). I don't know, i think i'm pretty bad off. i definitely have Mika syndrome!
