Which Songs Will Be Singles

ok so now we've listened to snippets of the songs, judging from the previews which songs do you think Mika will consider releasing as singles ??? (but remember we've only heard 30 seconds of each song)

Sort of agree, but think its either/or with GGG and BIOTG (pref BIOTG), and I think one of the ballads will be in. Hopefully By the Time, but probably I See You

My initial thought is that I can see One Foot Boy being a single easily...I think out of all the new tracks, that seems like the biggest contender for a single. But that's me. :)

After WAG, I think Rain, then maybe Good Gone Girl. He shouldn't release Blue Eyes because it's already been out there (like Relax was) I think he should release one for the balads, but I'm not sure yet which one.

Rain will definitely be a single, IMHO. The clubs will be playing it nonstop. I think Blame it on the Girls has decent US hit potential, along with By The Time. In the OMM interview he seemed opposed to Dr. John being a single, so we can move that one to the bottom of the "maybe" list. :teehee:

Apart from those, I think Touches You is single material. Not sure about One Foot Boy - will have to hear the whole thing, but it might be a little too quirky for radio. Granted, I thought that about Happy Ending at first, too, so what do I know. :blush-anim-cl:

Fully agree with both of you but he got away from Instant Martyr as well:naughty:..and this is luckily not the demo version ..To me that was just absolutely horrendous to listen to because the melody at one point should have gone the other (original way) and it hurt my ears. I think they are good choices, though not sure about Rain in the US.... However, there, I think the sales of WAG will determine whether 'The Boy' will be successful or not...

I'm not really sure about BIOTG as a single really. I think after Rain, it ought to be a balad. By The Time is a beautiful song from what I've heard.
