I think it depends on bag searches too, if you don't have one you can slip through.

I'm not bringing one with me to any of them ... well apart from Birmingham ... and that's cos' I might be a BG and I need to bring my snoozer mag with me at some point ... cos' I would love him to sign it ... It cost me £22.00 for that bloody mag ... I was robbed I think :lmfao: I do like it though ... I swear my brains go out the window when It comes to him :floor:

The security was fab in Belfast! :wub2: They were very fair and also very friendly, chatting about Mika with us.
Hope everyone has a good position today. Can't wait to read the reports!

They look for plastic bottles with liquid in them. The more stuff you have the more it takes to get through, probably, but a normal handbag doesn't take long to search.

In Belfast it was also 2 doors far apart from each other but they were opened at the same time. It was really well coordinated :thumb_yello:

Actually they opened our door a tiny bit (a few seconds) earlier, because they knew that most people who had been queueing since morning were there. They were really fair, imo.

Erik hassle's on, bless him. Some woman's pushed through to second row and keeps pushing against my bum. When i've turned around to have a go she claims not to understand but my sign language is clear enough and she will NOT get to the front. Cow. I've got doctor martens on so the foot will be going back and causing damage if she pushes against me once more. Pssssht.

Am being pushed and shoved lots tonight, wasn't at all in Dublin or Sheffield. The BGs and LPs are in the front row so will be interesting to see how much disruption that will cause when they have to leave later. Has not been handled well at all tonight :(
but I'm front and centre so shall moan no more. 20 mins to showtime!

Some people will always do that ... :blink: It sucks big time If you've been queueing all day .... I'm abit like Jazzy in that respect ... if someone keeps pushing me trying to force themselves into the front row ... then by jove .. I will push back :aah: It's worse at FF gigs or Blur ... god Blur used to be awful for it ... I've not had a bad experience at a Mika gig ... yet .... :wub2:

Yep, that's one of my bug bears too :teehee:. I have this little fantasy that John is secretly a great martial artist master and one day, someone will try and jump Mika "too much" and John will get in there and give them a bit of a lesson :naughty:.
But yes, I also see red about these things. I try and tell everyone that if they behave he will stay longer and if they don't he'll go, but alas, nobody ever listens :dunno:

We met the two cutest girls as well, one of them went to the loo at about 2 and Mika arrived in his car and the other went over to meet him on her own and she came back about five minutes later and aaaaaw. She might come here and tell you all about it though but it was the cutest thing ever and we were all dead pleased for her.
Got a setlist again (befriending security guards is the way forward) and got my ticket signed. My pattern is looking good so far. XD

It seems people just don't get it, that he'll come to them.
I know it's exciting to meet him, but does common sense just go out the window because of it!

yup violet, i agree about PUOTF. hope he adds it for other gigs, he kept adding songs throughout the acoustic tour as well. so maybe... *hopes*

I really, really hope you will get the chance to see it. It was absolutely wonderful :wub2: when he sang with the doll in Belfast, he didn't do it in Dublin for some reason and I missed it so much!
I'm not usually fond of puppets but the way he was handling this puppet and singing to it, and in the end laying it carefully on the floor made my heart melt!
