Ok ... man this is hard :aah:

Right so I've been pushing and driving this beautiful place now for well over 3 years , and now it's time I took a step back.

2007 was a year of pushing hard to get MFC recognised and I really have'nt stopped since, the role requires huge effort and I think I'm drained of it all and need to take a backwards step.

I do think MFC is a very different place to what it was in 2007/8,and I was suited to that area better in some ways.

In this role you can't really step away from it,its now a monster..a monster I'm very very proud of, but stlll .. sometimes you wish for something and get it!:aah:

So .. I've decided to step down from the admin position BUT as you see I'm still a huge part of the team and will be right behind Deb with my support whenever it is needed:thumb_yello:

I'm still me! , I'm still right behind MFC , I still LOVE Mika , won't leave and will be just as much on tour and part of this place.

Also,I've made some mistakes, mistakes which have caused some real friction in the team...and sometimes you have to take the feedback and do what is best for the MFC .. and me!:thumb_yello:

So life goes on,Deb has total control of it now,and she is the woman for the job believe me! , lets respect, trust and be right behind her to keep MFC so strong and respected and also for the future!

Thanks for all the support over this time, its meant the world to me .. I'm PROUD of MFC , I hope we stay united (more united) and go on respecting the man we all love.

1. I totally respect your decision and understand it, though it makes me sad to lose you as an admin here!
2. I'm sure Deb will continue doing the great job she does and i will do everything that's in my (small) power to help and support her.
3. I'm very very glad that you "only" stepped back from the admin job and won't leave this place...i got really frightened when i started reading your post, bad guy :sneaky2:
4. THANKS A MILLION for everything you've done as an admin for MFC. You were one of the people in here who helped me a lot from the beginning and made me feel very welcome and "at home" when i joined MFC.
5. Enjoy the regained leisure time of your admin retirement! You deserve it :wink2:
6. Don't think that this retirement releases you from your betting debts...you still have to pay for my coffee and panini at the Fringe :mf_rosetinted: :roftl:

A loue ye! :huglove:

What I wanted to say is, thank you for everything you've done to keep MFC the wonderful place that it is, and see you around! You're still the Freddie that we all know and love, admin or not :huglove:

I've only been here for around 6 months now, so I hadn't had the chance to see you in action all these years. But still, it's sad to hear this, though I'm glad you're not leaving this place ( I thought you were at first!).
In those 6months I've been here I've seen that you did so many great things and you made people feel welcome.
So thank you very much!!! :huglove:

You've been a freckin awsome Admin and helped us a lot these 2 past years, and i believe everyone is so thankful for what you have done all this time...

As long as you stay, i don't care if you're an Admin or a mod or just a MFCr...

We all should respect your decision and help Deb if she ever asks for help...

Just don't leave...this wouldn't be the same without you...

Admin or not, I f*cking adore you, Mika adores you (big boy, you are beautiful!) and anyone in their right mind who's ever come into contact with you knows what a decent, kind bloke you are.

I know Deb will do a fantastic job of all of this, but I think it's safe to say that your part will be missed.

It won't be the same without you Freddie but then as you say............it isn't the same now anyway.

Thank you SO much for everything you have done here. It has been an absolute pleasure to be involved in something that has grown and evolved into a huge entity. You have given SO much and I know that a lot of is has been far from fun.

Those early days were truely magical ...............we were all experiencing something totally new and fresh and we were a true community that all were all excited about the same thing. Some amazing friendships were formed and we had some brilliant experiences.

You are passing over a different place now.....but one that is still fundamentaly here for the same reason..............for people who love Mika to share experiences and find out what is going on in Mikaland.

I can't think of a better person than Deb to take over the reins.

I am relieved and glad that you will still be around.

This is such a blow, so out of the blue, it's big of you to admit to those mistakes, there are enough on here who are too perfect to comtemplate their mistakes but thats life.

See you at Fringe, Ive had some of THE best Mikaing with you and I know there will be more to come.
I know I dont visit this place like I did in the good old days, but thats cos it's changed and I liked it better before, but that is ALSO life lol.

Deb is defo the best, wish there were more like her she's diamond and I wish her all the very best.

ROBI PLEASE!!!
You are a MOD..have some freaking sympathy. :dunno:
...Fred and some of us have been here from the start and know alot of the decisions were helped with Fred/David intervening. Now that won't happen...I have faith in Deb, I do, but personally think as a Team they worked better.

I too, have seen the difference in the members within the past year especially..it needs to have a strong backbone and make it a family..or basically will go tits up.

That is why comments like yours don't come across right imo.(maybe a language difference problem?) I know you don't mean ANY harm what so ever!.. but i feel like you are saying nobody has a right to comment about being shocked about this. I know i am, and NOBODY will stop me saying I am sorry to see Fred go and hope he will stay around, as tbh so many people say they will and don't.

Look at how many of the MODS even just Members are left from the beginning...something is obviously not working or people would stay.

Good Luck Debs!!

And Daisy, many many people left not because of the MFC, but because they've lost interest in Mika's work... The ones that have left for MFC issues are a lot less than those who just don't like Mika anymore. :wink2:

As for us, the "resistant" peeps from the early days...we are young and strong and golden and all...but it was obvious that not everyone would stay forever! It's been 3 years, lots of things change! :wink2:

Respect you FD but very sorry to see you step down if you feel it is not wholeheartedly what you want.
I have been here for a fair time ..May of 2007 anyway as a reader and you have always been helpful, kind and very considerate.
I think taking a break though can sometimes be a good thing because it will give you time to chill out... relax a bit and enjoy being 'just a fan'
The admin job I'm sure is HUGE and i know you have been a pivotal person in the development of MFC and really care about it.
WELL DONE for all you have done:biggrin2:

Change always happens with any group and it evolves all the time ... i guess MFC is no different in that respect. You must be very proud of what you have achieved in the years you have been here and your name will always be associated with here .... and of course as we know by Mika himself.

Had some great times with you at gigs too and I'm so glad that will continue.

Thanks Santa:newyear: I'll always have my snow scene mushroom ...

First time i met you at Glasgow 07 you offered me a mint tic tac ... I've never forgotten :scot:

Rock on ...... respect .....:kachinga:

Good luck to Deb too of course :wink2:

I've just realised the Freddie was the first MFCer I ever spoke to
(Leeds - the infamous one!) You were fun and friendly right from the start and I'm really looking forward to Edinburgh to see you again.

And, as others have said, good on you for admitting mistakes.

Very best wishes to Deb :wub2:
:huglove:

Well said Kath!! :thumb_yello:
I remember when there wasn't anything on the inernet about Meeks and would wait ..for hours.. on here for a snippet of info as he was so new..now photos get photoshopped and there it is an information overload of MIKA on Inet. funny how things change not always for the better..but good for MIKA, he suceeded in being a star!

I am just saying how I understood Robi's message. Maybe different people have a different opinion..suppose that is what makes us human?
I am not being nasty to Robi in any way!!! so no need to jump down my throat.
..just saying if members who are friends of Freds and/or he has helped them in a way they can't forget it.. might mean alot and they can/should be able to convey how they feel without the need of being told to calm down that's all.
You obviously talk to different people to me.. as I know quite a few that go to the gigs but won't come on here because it has changed for them...that is why i wrote this. Yes..They do still love MIKA.

Aww...

Freddie you've been fantastic here as Mod, Admin and general legend :naughty:. I've been here on and off almost since the start so I really do remember how much you've invested in MFC (especially in that first year) to get it off the ground, with your enthusiam and dedication.

You are right though, this place has evolved and changed and is very different to how it used to be, but it's been a huge success hasn't it, and a lot of that is down to you :wub2:

As others have said though, it's not like you are leaving or anything so that's good. And I know Deb will continue to do a fantastic job too :thumb_yello:

I'm kinda new on MFC actually.
But I have to say it's the best fan club and forum I've been to!
It's well organised and a very stable platform to let me know new friends here.
I am always thankful to Mika bringing me bunch of best ppl in the world.
But frankly I don't think I can be connected to them without MFC!
And Freddie has been a very important one behind it, like Rak said, you are the backbone of it!

Although I am not so familiar to you, I am still happy to see you appearing in different threads :biggrin2:

and now I'm sure dcdeb can do the job well!
I am very proud of having you here as the mod! :thumb_yello:
Thank you so much Freddie! =D

I wasn't jumping on your throat, I was just giving my opinion too. :wink2:

Of course MFC has changed... more people = more different personalities = more conflicts...etc etc. It's up to everyone to deal with these things. When I'm upset with something/someone here, I step away from MFC for a while, post a lot less,... But I know there are people who can't do it, and I know some too. The thing is, even if we still love Mika, there are other stuff besides him and the MFC, and it's normal that, from the early members, just a few remain here after 3 years. Sunny Monkey created this place, do you see him post everyday?

As for FD (sorry for the off-topic, btw), he'll still be here, he's not going away and certainly won't leave the friends he has made on MFC. It's really brave of him to admit his mistakes, and step away from the job if he feels it's necessary. It's probably harder for him than for anyone else...

And of course the ones who are closer to him (and everyone else) can AND should say how they're feeling...The thread is open for comments, so...

Shock news indeed!

I don't have the same feeling for the MFC after being pushed out by a very strong willed group of newcomers (they're not new any more!!) and things never recovered for me.

However, at the worst of it all you stood up for me against the bullying that went on and I'll be ever grateful to you for it....I'll never forget it. Thank you. :thumb_yello:

I have been here since the start and although I can no longer be a proper part of things due to the nastiness that has grown over the past few years I still look in on here everyday to keep up with the latest Mika news.

You've always been the voice of reason and the dad figure and, as has been said, were the backbone of it all. (You and Deb are the two people I respect most on here and would always listen to what you had to say).

I have no idea what these "mistakes" are/were but I can't imagine them being THAT bad??! :boxed:

Anyways, stay around in whatever capacity you feel is best and I'll keep watching out for you when I pop online! :biggrin2:

I'm still me! , I'm still right behind MFC , I still LOVE Mika , won't leave and will be just as much on tour and part of this place.

I've told you before how I feel but I'll say again that I'm very glad you haven't let this decision drag you down and are as enthusiastic as ever about participating in MFC. I know how much you care about the fan club and the fans and it shows.

Look at how many of the MODS even just Members are left from the beginning...something is obviously not working or people would stay.

Things evolve Daisy. Along with Mika, the one thing we had in common in early 2007 was that we really didn't know each other. Friendships form, people's lives change, the forum has grown by thousands of members. We can't keep complaining that it's not February 2007 anymore. It's an insult to the newer members who came to MFC in later years and found a happy home here just like we did. Just because it doesn't work for some people to stay here for over 3 years, doesn't mean that MFC doesn't work at all.

Anyway FD, I've told you this directly, but I shall post it here too.

I belive that you're a good guy, and you love this place and Mika. You've invested a lot of time, love and effort into this place, and, together with the other admins, mods and longtime members, have had a big part in making it what it is today, which is no mean feat.

I'm sure that leaving your position is going to be a hard thing in some ways, but I truly think that, in others, it will probaly be a bit of a liberation. In any case, I'm sure that you're not going anywhere, so we'll still see plenty of you around here even if you're not super involved in the running of it from an admin perspective.

And, I'm sure that the other admins and the mods will carry on putting in all their hard work and love into this place so that it stays the site that Mika and all of us are proud of :wub2:.

I'm not even saying goodbye, because you're going nowhere so I'll say catch you later :naughty:

Ok ... man this is hard :aah:

I'm PROUD of MFC , I hope we stay united (more united) and go on respecting the man we all love.

xxxx

FREDDIE!!! :crybaby:

It's not MFC without you in charge!!! :tears: I remember when I came here that you were head mod, and I figured that you'd be in charge forever!

And mistakes? Geez Fred, we all make them :wink2:....

Oh well, I hope you enjoy not being an admin... and maybe you can start visiting the Aussie thread again... we miss you!

And good luck to Deb and the rest of the mod team... I'm sure you'll do brilliantly without Fred at the helm...

(Oh, btw... when you quit, do you have time to re-open our bar again??)

Ooooh yes! :teehee: I remember that the bar was THE place to be on here!

But you take off that admin hat, and there is still another hat underneath... you still wear your "mod hat" so I am sure there will be plenty of continuing work for you:wink2:

Good to hear that he's staying as part of the team...

Aww, Freddie. Thank you for everything you've done for MFC over the past few years. :huglove:

Allow me a little sentimental moment... MFC is like a patchwork quilt which started with one patch designed by Sunny Monkey when he first created MFC, and has since grown with more and more patches from every admin, mod, and member. And as new patches get added it grows and changes, but that's simply evolution. I don't think we need to look at MFC's changes as a bad thing. 2007 was great, yes, and the vibe was different then for sure. But we know Mika's still got a lot more to offer, and MFC will keep growing and evolving. :wub2: And with dcdeb and StandardToaster as our admins, and a really strong mod team, I think MFC is going to keep getting better. :punk:

So thank you FD, for the patch you've added. I'm glad to hear you're not going to disappear entirely.

Finally have a chance to put my 2p in here.

FD already knows how I feel about him :huglove:

We've worked side by side for 3 years now (I can't believe it's been
that long!), and I'd say that we've gotten
to know each other pretty well. He's a good guy with a big heart,
and he can be generous to a fault. He's made so many positive
contributions to the MFC that I've lost count. He's a
good friend, and has the best interests of the MFC
at heart. And I know, for many, he IS the face of the MFC.

But nothing stays the same forever, and I certainly understand
his need to scale things back a bit. Keeping up with everything
going on around here... well, it's a lot.

I appreciate all the votes of confidence from FD and all of you, and
I assure you that the rest of the mod/admin team and I
(believe me, I *don't* work here alone!) will continue
to do our best to keep this a fun place to hang out while waiting
to hear all the latest and greatest news about MIKA. Yes, the
place has grown beyond any of our wildest dreams, and it's different
than it was in 2007, but that doesn't mean it can't still be fantastic
-- "different" doesn't automatically have to equal "bad."

The MFC and its members are made of awesome, and will continue in
their awesomeness in the future! :thumb_yello:

So thank you FD for everything you've done SO FAR.

I'm sure there's still lots more to come, and I'm looking forward
to seeing what comes next! :group_hug:

Last night i didn't realise (till read BlueSky's message) that Freddie is like MIKA playing Dr John he wears 2 hats. He has given up his ADMIN hat BUT will still be wearing a MOD hat. This is right?? I don't think alot of members realised this either from what they wrote. When Fred wrote he is still gonna be part of the Team... it didn't clarify he was staying as 'heirarchy':roftl:..i for one thought he meant all in this together type team.

NOW i understand why the MODS were subdued with their empathy....see without ALL the facts (they obviously knew he was still a MOD and gonna be here) it's hard to draw the full picture for us non MODS..we need full clarification as some of us are blonde you know :aah:

ps. i also didn't read about the MJ comparison altho dunno how i missed that :wink2:

pps. I have had a couple of members (newbies) say they wish they had been here in the beginning as they have heard it was like a family. As is not like that now and changing so fast and can't keep up and don't like it. (but too scared to posth how they REALLY FEEL) They have only been here for a few months!! (i haven't found the right time/place to post before)
As you can see from the posts it is not just me that thinks a certain way. I am not being controversial for the hell of it. If you feel better blaming me,that's fine I can take it ..I do however think you've overlooked other messages. When people say ..the place isn't how it was, or, isn't the same.. they are not saying they prefer the changes and as it is now at all. Maybe I am completely wrong here??
Obviously we have to move on and take rough with the smooth and hope all will turn out in the end. Yes, we are all in here for the same thing - MIKA. IMO,Also have to keep our feet on the ground and look to see if the changes that are happening are good for EVERYONE new and old.

I think all of the team here have done a great job. You're all a bit like the Ball Boys and Girls at Wimbledon. We don't always notice you because we're concentrating on the main action, then suddenly something happens and we do notice you, and realise how good at your jobs you all are. Without you all the machine that is MFC would not keep running smoothly.

Hey, I was reading different threads today about pple not knowing things about MFC and I had an idea. I know this is not quite the right place to write about that, but I don't know where else to post is.

The idea is this: Perhaps some of the "old" MFCers could find some spare time and write something like a "Short Story of MFC" for all the newbies like me who are still asking questions. It could be just one page or so, with some names of the first admins and mods and how it all began and some important moments, like special gigs, meetings with the Mastah and jokes and stuff? Hey, I was reading different threads today about pple not knowing things about MFC and I had an idea. I know this is not quite the right place to write about that, but I don't know where else to post is.

The idea is this: Perhaps some of the "old" MFCers could find some spare time and write something like a "Short Story of MFC" for all the newbies like me who are still asking questions. It could be just one page or so, with some names of the first admins and mods and how it all began and some important moments, like special gigs, meetings with the Mastah and jokes and stuff? And some pics? I know there are such things about this chicken joke, but this would be more complete and since MFC will last forevah :teehee:, perhaps it would be a good idea to start with this early and not forget the beginnings.

What do you think? :wink2: Freddie? Now you have soooo much spare time. :teehee:

And also wanted to say thanks to the other admins and mods who will continue to take the site forward

Yes, but there are only 4 answers about the jokes and the information about MFC is mostly administrative stuff: how to send a PM and so on.

I meant something about the "soul" of MFC if I can use that expression. It could just be a story about MFC, the first members, when the first meeting took place, who came up with the idea for MFC at the first place, Mika's invitation in this bar last year (just a few sentences and prhps 1 or 2 pics and a link to someone's report about the event). It doesn't have to be written all at once, it can just grow and people can contribute stuff only if they want to and only if they have the time. At first, only some kind of structure would be enough ("2007/2008/2009/2010" or "People behind MFC/special moments/inside jokes/Reports/")

Well, I don't really have anything to say that hasn't already been said ... but I'll put in my well-wishes also. :naughty:

Freds, you've been so great --- and obviously you're not leaving forever, but I am feeling sentimental so I'll share some memories from Freddie's admin days ...

YEARS ago, my sister and I ate at Freddy's Frozen Custard restaurant and took a picture of the sign for the "Freddy's Double" burger. We sent it to Freddie and, being noobies, were TOTALLY thrilled when he set that as his avatar. Ahhhh :wub2:

Freddie has always been there to answer any questions for me as I've grown as an MFC member ... he always answers PMs or stupid wall messages. He has been exactly what an admin is supposed to be: helpful, patient, and kind. :naughty:

And, of course, I must mention Freddie/Ingie's X-Factor competition. Freds, even though his real life was jam-packed, still managed to send me the most AMAZING assortment of Mika goodies. It totally made my entire summer.

I guess Freddie has always been there for me as the omniscient admin, someone who you can always count on to be there, to help you out with a little cheekiness.

Thank you for all your hard work, Freds! You're the reason MFC is the way it is, and I can't imagine it without you. :huglove:

I'm !! Never thought that this would ever happen. I'm so out of the loop, I haven't got a clue about what led to this decision. Anyway, I shall respect your decision even though if it's up to me I'd like you to administer MFC FOREVER!!:aah: but that's the selfish side of me speaking..

You know how I feel about you Freds, even from the beginning, before we met in RL, I've experienced your friendliness & kindness. Your biggest contribution to the MFC imo is your hard work, persistence & patience in getting 'US' official. I'm sure the others have contributed to it one way or another, but you were the driver of that entire episode. You know when you asked me for Jerry's contact for that purpose, I only gave it to you cause it was 'YOU' who asked for it, I don't think I would have given it to anyone else at the time, seemingly I got his contact in a personal way. It wouldn't be right, but I knew you were reasonable and trustworthy & won't do anything stupid with it. :blush-anim-cl:

Once again thank you for everything you have done for me on a personal level and for the greater good of the MFC. WE ALL play a part in this Monster that is the MFC, we all deserve a pat on the back for many different reasons...but Freds' your contribution is just too BIG to be forgotten. I'll always remember it :huglove:

Glad you're still Mod and will stick around here. :blush-anim-cl:

DEB and the rest, I'm sure you guys will continue to do a great job as always. MFC may be different now, but it is still the best place to come for all things related to Mika & Mika fans.

(Oh, btw... when you quit, do you have time to re-open our bar again??

What a FABULOUS idea!! I might hang around more if you do! :thumb_yello:

Very best wishes to Deb
:huglove:

Well said Kath :thumb_yello: My sentiments exactly!

We can't keep complaining that it's not February 2007 anymore. It's an insult to the newer members who came to MFC in later years and found a happy home here just like we did. Just because it doesn't work for some people to stay here for over 3 years, doesn't mean that MFC doesn't work at all.

AGREED!!!:thumb_yello:

Hey, I was reading different threads today about pple not knowing things about MFC and I had an idea. I know this is not quite the right place to write about that, but I don't know where else to post is.

Good luck to Deb AND Andrew for dealing with this place as a duet rather than a trio (I know he doesn't show his face often, but he IS our techie around here :thumb_yello:)
Fred...think of all the free time you'll have now! And I know you'll never leave, so I personally don't think the MFC will necessarily feel different. We're all here supporting Mika and that's what it's about, right? :original:
Leaving the admin position must be hard, but at least you can say that you were largely responsible for catapulting our tiny fanclub to a worldwide fan base! :thumb_yello: So kudos to you for that, and to all the other admins/mods who have worked so hard for this place.

So sit back and relax Fredster, have a glass of wine and let your hair down! ...Well, if you had any :teehee:

No but seriously, all good things come to an end. Our mods and admins have changed before. It's true that you have invested a lot of time in the MFC Fred, I could never take that away from you.

2007 MFC was more like a family because there were so little of us. When more members join it's hard to involve everyone and talk to everyone. That's just the way it goes. You form friends throughout the years and you just...stick with them, because they're your friends and you get on with them and you have history with them.
Think of all the friendships you had in your lifetime - have you kept them all? Chances are you said goodbye to a lot of them because that's how life just pans out sometimes, and the MFC is included in life experiences as well. But just because people have their own little groups it doesn't mean to say that everyone else is hated :naughty: as far as I'm aware we still all say hello on the MFC and in real life too.

So yes, there has been a change between 2007-2010 but it's a natural part of evolution. I don't think there's anything sad about it - it just happens and will continue to do so in every aspect of our lives. The key word is "acceptance" here - if you keep looking at the past and wishing you were there you're going to end up bitter. If you accept the changes and just move on then there doesn't need to be bitterness at all :thumb_yello:

As for me, I'm living in 2010, know it's 2010 and rather happy where I am! :wub2: I'm still proud of the MFC and what it's achieved. So who cares what's changed? We're all here for one person and that person is MIKA.

ohhh, a really early episode where all the other Pikachu's were being used for their electricity? (f*ck, I think i've only seen that episode once and I think I was about 10.)

I thought Pikachu, like, friggin died or something. I nearly died of heart failure.

Nooo that was the second episode you're talking about. Where Misty goes all crazy because Ash ruined her bike and they go to a pokemon center and there is no electricity and then Joy uses the Pikachu for their electricity but that is totally cool.

I'm talking about episode 39 (I looked it up...I sincerely swear I didn't know that by heart:naughty:)

Pikachu can't die...that would make no sense. Did you ever see a Pokemon die? I mean if some thunderbolt hit me I would be pretty dead but even Ash survives XD

I think everything about the Pokemon franchise basically's got eternal life. It's still going strong! Incredible. Only now there are probably hundreds of Pokemons, whereas there were only 150 back when I watched it. :naughty:

Freddie, I know we haven't been working together for long, but I do too remember all the great things you've done for MFC since the beginning.
You have fought so hard for us to get noticed and become official. Really, who would have ever thought we could have gotten this far, back in early 2007?
And yes, there have been changes, that's life. People change, Mika changed, people moved on, it's a normal process. But you're still here, and I'm sure you'll continue to do a great job as a mod.

So I wanted to say thank you, freddie, for what you've done in the past and will still do for this place and its members in the future. :flowers2:

Fred, I wasn’t sure what to write on this thread as you are not leaving MFC and are still a moderator, so it should definitely not sound like a farewell note.

I realise that many MFCers took this as an opportunity to thank you for your involvement in turning what originally started as a ’message board’ into such an awesome international fanclub that Mika is so proud of. I’d also like to express my appreciation about your work in that.

On a personal note, let me thank you for all the attention you gave me as a newbie back in early 2007 when I basically only existed as virtual character behind a cartoon avatar who nobody knew in person. You listened and made sure I had a great time despite not knowing me in person at all. It did mean a lot to me and I’ll never forget that. :flowers2:

I really hope that you will continue this type of involvement with new members in the future, as anyone can feel that it is a genuine interest and care from your side and is part of the reason why most fans stay around (..around around ):teehee:.

I agree, cos Fred just wants this place to be one big happy family, he always tries to build up the fun and experiences of ALL the gigs (esp the ones HE goes to), hence how the FREAK T's started, he basically wants to have a really good time and he wants the same for each and every fan....equally. (we know thats not really possible, but its nice that Fred strives for this), basically FRED is in this for all of us, he's VERY unselfish like that and that is why I think he IS/was the best rep for MFC. :wub2: (Deb I love you too lol, just Fred..well he's a LEGend)

And Andrew is great -- if it weren't
for his technical expertise, the MFC wouldn't be here, for sure. I'm

involved too much in the day-to-day operations of the MFC -- you have
the rest of the mod team to thank for that. It takes a village to
make a fan club, and we have a great global village, for sure! :wub2:

Ok ... man this is hard :aah:

I'm PROUD of MFC , I hope we stay united (more united) and go on respecting the man we all love.

xxxx

You were and still are a legend of the MFC.

As for what we 'bolded' we know we will stay united! Like a big happy family.

I'm PROUD of MFC , I hope we stay united (more united) and go on respecting the man we all love.

xxxx

Just heard the news ... thanks heaps for all you've done and will hopefully see you round here xoxo

Was a pleasure the day you dropped by and jumped onto this ship... glad to see you are still sailing with us but now going to enjoy the passing views instead of manning the rigging ;)

Aaaw Freddie! :tears:
I'm glad I didn't miss this. I know you're not going anywhere and you're just moving away from the job but you've been here since before I got here in March 07 and before I found out about the MFC in February 07 and OMG it's so teary! :huglove:

Welcome to the team Deb! Don't forget to put me in your top 5 watch list, Freddie says I'm one to watch :roftl: and hey, I don't even know why, I'm so innocent! :angel_not:

Aaw well I look foward to seeing you around here as a fan and as your usual self.
Much love
Kx

Welcome to the team? I've been a moderator since July '07
and an admin for a couple years now...

I guess I need to do better Public Relations! :naughty:

Yes, I'll definitely be keeping my eye on YOU! :roftl:

:boxed::roftl: I guess that this shows how skewed some people's perceptions of reality can be! Due to intentional or unintentional self promotion and/or lack of.

Food for thought perhaps?
