Well...I meditated: I think that this thread can be used since it's not a repetiton: Beckar started a 'group' thread...you can show one of your abilities and then you are in and you can talk about etc...but here we can put the link to show our art even if we don't want to be in the group..I think less confusion... dunno

Yesterday night I took a break and did these two scratches...the first is not finished yet (I did less than half of the work it needs) and I have to add that it's copied, but not from the original one but from a stamp with my name :naughty:...so today I went to see the original one and it's very different :blink: I'll do it too, but in the future


the second is my horrible style :thumbdown:
I like drawing people in strange poses...it's less than 7cm tall, that's why her face is so messed(0.75 cm!)

Wow, I wish I could do all that. I tried, ones, at highschool and had to draw a simple bird. After 2 hours I was in tears and the few lines on paper did not even look like a bird. I never tried again!!!!!!

I will stick to making cards - will post some later if I have more time.

Diana - is that the monument at Margraten? i used to live in the south of Holland untill I started to work in Rotterdam but that part of the country is just so beautiful.

Yes, all the time! But with the exam our teacher helps us cos she knows what gets us the grade and what doesn't. So usually we have to do what she says.

I dunno how your art skills are, but I think that if you feel you want do draw or do art in general, you should just do it. Everyone can improve practising and with a little effort :original:

it could be possible :naughty: at school my mates criticize my drawings and I hide them in my folder :naughty:. But if I wanna draw, I do it alone, and if they're ok, I show them to my mates or my family, for knowing what they think about them

I did them using software called artrage, you know people often think it's really extremelly easy to draw using a computer & I say well you try it & then tell me just how easy it is, It is so difficult far more so than actually drawing with your hands onto paper or canvas!!

I go to school for photography, but I took some classes in high school that taught me how to develop and print film, it can be very frustrating but for the most part its enjoyable. Most days I go through easily 25sheets of paper trying to get a perfect print, sometimes 2 out of 25 sheets. Takes lots of patience!:naughty:

it's hard to get technical with them because they're made to be simple, but that doesn't mean you can't take a great photo with them!
I would just fool around with it as much as possible and see what it can do!

I agree with Jackie- play around with it.
Point and shoot cameras are typically good for macro shots, not so much for things in the distance. Also, if it's dark they may not turn out the best. But I have a point and shoot and have taken some really great photos with it. There's no saying that a P & S can't take great pictures, it's all up to YOU.

Sort of. But instead of a black shadow, there would be a reflection of the pencil, as if it was on water, you know? The lacquer of the table is fairly reflective, so I thought it might work out.
