I am sat here waiting for The Culture Show to start. I am so looking forward to seeing Mika perform. It will be weird to think a few of us were actually there watching it live.

Hopefully I am blurred out, bit worried about that. But cannot wait 10 mins to go Woooooooo

Wow Carrinevies hair was fabulous! I'm sure I was more cheerful than I looked!
I thought that Mika came across really well but i'm biased as I was there. What did everyone else think?

I saw the hair :mf_lustslow: thought it all appeared a bit darker on screen than i remember on the day. Was background talker when the interviews were on. Mika did come across well, modest, humourous, well mannered but we all know he didn't hit the high piano note every time, ah the luxury of VT editing :wub2: Well done Mika and the audiance :thumb_yello:

I thought it was fantastic, I didn't think much of Lauren though as an interviewer. But he was amazing. But then again he always is!!!

Great screencaps, but you missed the shot of his reflection in the piano, I thought that was cool. I caught a glimpse of my back in the Patrick Stewart segment, kind of glad though, I wasn't looking forward to seeing myself on screen, I can understand now why celebs don't like watching themselves on TV.
Mika was amazing, it seemed funny seeing it, knowing it was about the 6th take, and it was a shame they didn't film the banter he shared with the audience , it was hilarious.

We got home late from the rugby :drinks_wine: and I missed the first bit! But got to see the rest of the show :) It was really interesting to see how all the takes were put together but it's a shame they couldn't convey how funny Mika was on the day.

Arrrgh! Stupid Sky + chopped off the last bit of Mika's performance - I am sooooo annoyed!!.. if anyone has the Culture Show recorded and can send me a copy?? :'( I was going to convert Mika's Interview and performance and upload it! :(

OK - slightly worried now :( Couldn't sleep last night! I was still annoyed that my Sky + cut off my recording of the Culture Show! (You just can't trust technology!)

If anyone has a great recording and can send me a tape or dvd or even just upload the MIKA bit at the end that would be fabulous :( My intention was to upload it for you all, but I can't do that now! :(

So I am now very sleepy and grumpy... but I know that seeing Mika later today at HMV will totally cheer me up!

I think of all his interviews this one is my favourite - I guess it's because I was there when it was filmed :P

So this totally makes up for my Sky + chopping off the end, I emails Clare at the BBC and she was going to send me a copy anyway :wink2:

The interveiw is conducted in a very noisy bar and it is difficult to hear what is being said - but if you can stand it, Mika talks about some interesting stuff.

I would like to see him on Jonathan Ross. It would be wicked to see Mika laughing his pants off and having a good time while being interviewed on camera rather than being drained by obvious questions most people ask.
