MFC Offline Update

The site has been offline for 24 hours, and we have decided to make a dramatic move to yet another new server.

This one comes highly recommended, so we hope it is a case of 3rd time lucky.

The site should work for the next 12 hours or so, and then we will be offline for 12 hours.

I think that there are a lot of people who aren't *here* yet -- as for me,
I'll be on this site for a few minutes, when suddenly the screen changes
and I get the "try again in a few hours" notice. Then I can't log in
for a while... so service is spotty still just yet. And I can't be the only lonely
one who's having this trouble. Can I? :shocked:

Also... Freddie's away! That takes the posting activity WAAAY down right there!

I've had the same problem today, Deb. I was on this morning, then it stopped working. Then I was on AGAIN, and then it stopped working AGAIN. I just made it back to the wonderful world of the MFC a few minutes ago...I hope I get to stay this time!

For me there's nothing wrong though. I had the message in capitals ('IF YOU CAN READ THIS...') for only 3 hours during the conversion and haven't had any problems with MFC ever since. I guess I might consider myself lucky... *knocks on wood*

Hopefully we will all be back on the forum without problems soon!
