Listening to Jo Wiley today she said there would be a live lonuge with Mika at Maida Vale in 2 weeks time :shocked: Anyone have any more info on this?

While we're on the topic of Radio 1 though, Mika has just gone from the B-List to the A-List. I have a feeling that this boards gonna get very busy, very soon !

Yup, is A-list on radio 2 and radio 1, is number 1 in itunes, has the live loung and the bbc radio 2 music club live gigs coming up :)

For R1 at least, a set of Show Producers every Wednesday decide which songs should be played on the station. If it's on the A-List it gets around 20 plays a week :)

I'll be intrested to see if he does a cover, like most people do in the live lounge, and if so which song he picks to sing.

According to Jo whiley, he will be doing a cover (god bless her and Scott Mills for bringing him to our attention, Scott had Relax as his record of the week a while back). It will be interesting to see what he does, as Jo always plays clips of 4 songs and you have to guess which will be the cover, wonder if Freddie or Harry Nilsson wil be among them. Although it would be fun to hear him sing something by the Artic Monkeys.:roftl:
