I bought their CD today since my iPod plug in for my car died. They're pretty good. I like listening to it when I drive. I still think Misery Business is my favorite song though.

It was good!

It was Paramore, Jimmy Eat World, and another band called "Dear and the Headlights" or something like that. Anyway, we decided to go shopping and ended up missing the first band, but didn't care. We only really wanted to see Paramore.

We got there around 7:30 or so and ended up just sort of walking around the gymnasium (it was at a local university) waiting. Then we sort of herded into the crowd and Zac came out and sat at the drums. I didn't even recognize him at first until I saw Josh come out and pick up his guitar.

I don't know HOW you Mika fans can possibly remember the setlist, because I can't even remember everything in order. I'm pretty positive the first song was 'Let the Flames Begin', then they played (not in order)

anyway, I can't remember all the rest. They played an acoustic off their first album.

I took a boatload of pictures. Paramore fans are pretty nice, for the most part. And thank God for moshers, because if it hadn't been for them trying to fling me and my friend into the pit, I wouldn't have gotten some of the shots I did. I'm gonna post some pictures, and as you can tell, hardly any of them are in focus. It was hard to hold still with everyone jumping around.

Josh took a minute during one of the last songs and looked EVERYONE within a 10 people diameter around where we were standing in the eye. Then he did it to a group of people in the wings.

Afterwards, as Liz and I were walking back to the lobby, we realized how far we'd actually been pushed. We started out about 30 feet from where we ended up (for the better, because we got even closer to the stage)

I bought a bottle of water that we shared, and then I bought some Paramore dogtags. Then we went outside and waiting on the bank above their bus for them to come out. We waited for like... an hour. There was some really short girl (like, Hayley's size) walking around outside the bus with the security guard, but I couldn't tell if it was her or not. I screamed "HAYLEYYYYYYYY" and she looked, but then just kept walking. I asked a security guard if they were on the bus, because there were about 6 girls (including us) waiting on the bank to meet them. I wasn't pushy or anything, or threatening. I just wondered if they were on the bus or if they were still inside the fieldhouse. He got mad and went "No comment." and walked away. Then he followed us around.

Lizzie went down the hill to use her phone, and she heard him behind a tree talking to the girl we thought was Hayley, and he said "I'm not letting them off the fcuking bus, because there's all those fcuking girls up on the hill waiting for them." When, in reality, here's how it was:

Two of the other girls got bored and left.
Which leaves 4 girls, including me.
Lizzie was down the hill, which means he could only see three of us.

The merch guy was behind me using his cellphone, which now makes it 3 girls vs. 3 security people. And if THAT weren't enough, there were 2 more security guys and a paramedic about 30 yards away, watching us.

So we got upset and left.

Btw I always write down the setlist....I can never remember the songs played either! LOL

I recognized all but like... one or two of their songs. They played ALOT more than I thought they would, for being an opening act. I think they played easily 12 or so.

Josh seemed really sweet! I just feel bad that the pictures are pretty sucky quality.

I'm trying to upload the videos to YouTube right now, and when they load (IF they load) you can see how bouncy everyone was and why alot of shots are blurry or out of focus.

Jeremy was hilarious, making faces and laughing the entire time. He was at the opposite side of the stage, so I didn't get too many shots of him, though.

do you know if they will be touring with no doubt for all of the tour dates? I wasn't sure about that because, on ticketmaster it says No Doubt with paramore for only a few shows, but then on the Paramore website, it says tons of shows this summer...but it doesn't mention no doubt....? :blink:
