Hello, Salut and Ciao everyone! I am Kat (/MissMagpie), a music and language enthusiast from Germany, and only recently became part of the Mika fan world (I am very late to the party, I know ...). My journey has been very similar to that of several other members: I've re-discovered Mika's music through Eurovision and realized that I used to love his music when I was younger. I tumbled down the rabbit hole and ended up here. Lovely to meet you all. Mika's music became an important part of my daily life and I also fell in love with a few of his lesser known gems such as Good Gone Girl, Make you Happy, Rio, J'ai pas envie, Blue ... I…

Hello all! I'm Deepblue, but I also respond to my real name, Sascha I am 43 years old, and I live in the westernmost part of Germany, close to the borders to the Netherlands and Belgium. I came across Mika about two years ago, in a time where I had to cope with some not-so-nice health issues. And as music has always been a great tool for me to reduce stress and to work on mental issues, I started to crawl Spotify for some happy playlists. And then, Mika was suddenly there, and his music immediately drew me deep into this happy and joyful rabbit hole. Of course, I knew his biggest hits from the past, but not really a lot more. But once I start…

Hi all! I've been lurking and occasionally posting over the last few months, and just realised I haven't actually introduced myself My name's Emily, I'm in my 30s and live with my partner just outside London. I work full time as a writer at a charity and am very much into travel, orange cats and reading! I was really into Mika's music when I was a teen and then sort of drifted out of the loop as I went off to uni and had a few big life changes. Over the last few years I've fully been embracing the music of my youth(!!) and rediscovering the songs and artists I used to love!! After realising I'd missed out on a huge back ca…

Hello everyone!! It has been a *minute* since I’ve actually made my account, so I think this introduction is LONG overdue ahahah So, My name is Ruby (contrary to popular belief it isn’t Joan, I’m just a BIG fan of Joan Jett ahaha!!) !! I’m 18 this year and I live in Dublin (And will be attending the Dubli gig, It’ll be my first MIKA gig ever!!!) My hobbies include singing, reading and playing the bass!! I hope to see you all around, especially as I learn to navigate the forum page (This is really difficult to do :(( ), but yeah!! That’s pretty much it!

hii! not exactly new here but finally came around to introduce myself🥰 my name's Gintarė which means 'Amber' in Lithuanian, so i go by both names online. i'm 23 and taking a gap year between my bachelor and master studies right now. i've aways been fascinated by languages, have learned or at least tried to quite a number of them and hope to try more in the future😇 as for Mika, i grew up listening to his songs, yet the times he came to Lithuania, i didn't get to see him😢 after his amazing hosting of Eurovision, it all finally hit me properly haha and i made the decision to see him live, but it didn't work that summer😭 and then last summer, right after my friend…

Hello to everyone! I'm Arianna and I'm from Italy! I'm new in Mika Fan Club and I apologise to you if I introduce me now only, but I'm still trying to understand how this forum works! I hope to write in the right place! Like someone of you, I love very much learn and understand the different languages of the world. For this reason, in addition to italian, I speak English and French. Or better... I try to speak French because it's not a long time that I'm studying it and, overall, with many pauses too. Despite this I'm very happy to understand something of French now, you can imagine the reason! I love art, drawing, reading and I'm curious about eve…

Hii, I'm a new member <3 My name is Chiara and I come from Italy I love drawing, reading, writing, learning about new things, new languages, new disciplines, I love listening to music and above all I love Mika. How did I meet Mika? I hummed his songs in 2017/18 and I had seen his program "Stasera CasaMika" but I had never been very interested in listening to him "properly" or seeing who he really was, also because I was 10 years old! In 2022 he was the presenter of Eurovision and that's where I loved him until 2023 where I expanded all my knowledge about him!! Now I can only say that I love him so much and he saved me even from somewhat sad periods with his songs…

Never really used a forum before, but I'm Will! I discovered Mika through Eurovision, sort of. His music was everywhere before so I was somewhat aware of it, so really it was a rediscovery, but I absolutely love him and his music!! His music is so perfect it sort of just clicks in my brain, also both being neurodivergent I recognise so much of my traits in him when I read interviews and watch stuff about him, and as a gay guy I feel really seen/represented. I'm currently studying Art History, Art and Italian! Mika's multilingual songs/fans/social media has unironically helped with my language studies, so thanks Mika! Lol

Dear MIKAholics, My name is Gosia, 35 ys young, working in IT&finance consulting. I come from Poland and live there as well. I follow our Mika since the beginning of his international career, even had a celebrity crush on him (actually the crush is still going strong!) HIs music and personality taught me to support LGBT community, especially gay people who don't have equal rights in m country. I have also experienced bullying ar school and his life is my Inspiration. I also speak several languages, so he inspires me in this matter as well. I stumbled upon this lovely group and can't wait to share my love for Mika with You guys! Gosia

Hello from Costa Rica! I'm Daniela (call me Dani) and I'm 26 years old. Recently I finished the university. I'm Mikafan since last year, but until just now I decided join to the MFC (I don't know why but now I'm here 💙 haha). I speak spanish, english and I started to learning italian, if someone wants to practice with me, i'm in!! So, my history as a fan was this: when I was maybe 13-14 years in somewere I listened Grace Kelly, but I don't knew the artist or the name of the song, nobody's knew anything and eventually I just forgoted about that. Last year exploring in YouTube I found the video from the audition of Vincent Vinel from The Voice of France and…

So i’ve been on MFC for nearly a year now and just realised i’ve never properly introduced myself so here goes☺️ Im Jordan, (she/her) 23 from England! Growing up I always loved Mika’s music, I remember being 13 and making music videos to popular song with my friends🤣 but it was on the lead up to eurovision that I feel like I really started to appreciate him and everything he does (sorry if that sounds cringey hahah)! I feel so lucky that I’ve been able to see him twice in the UK and will be seeing him again in Bristol soon! Just thought it would be nice to get so know some other fans and to find some other UK fans especially, …

Hi everyone! My name is Udon, but that’s my online name (in case you haven’t noticed, I love eating udon haha.) I’ve been listening to MIKA for about a year now, and I’ve been thinking, WHAT HAVE I BEEN MISSING OUT ON FOR THE PAST SEVERAL YEARS?! I’m just here to gush about MIKA as someone who is living in Japan (not Japanese, just residing) because his joy is extremely infectious and what I need in life! Anyway, lovely to meet you all!

Hi! I've been here for a couple of months now but I haven't properly introduced myself. My name is Tori, I'm a Hungarian girl. Unfortunately in my country Mika isn't widely known (what a shame!) so I haven't discovered his music until Eurovision last year. I've been a huge Eurovision fan for 10+ years but I have to say the best performance I've seen or heard was Mika's medley I remember lying on my couch, half asleep, when he came on stage and started singing Love Today, I immediately woke up and my jaw dropped. His voice, his moves, his outfits, his charisma left me speechless. I started googling like crazy, who is he and why on earth haven't I…

Hi there, My name is Franziska (though most people just call me Franzi), and I'm a 25 year old Mika fan from Germany. I re-discovered Mika last year through the ESC and decided to get tickets for the concert in Colmar in July 2022. Well, that was the moment when I became fan, the show was just amazing! My first contact with Mika's music, however, was in back in 2011 when I did a school exchange to France. Back then, Elle me dit was played a lot on the french radio and TV, and I remember how much I loved the videoclip! Unfortunately, I never really looked up the artist, so it was only last year that I discovered the full Mika universe. I'm really looking forwar…

Hi, all. First, introducing self….I am a 74 yo lesbian (mostly😉) living on Long Island with my (now) wife, who I have been with since the year Mika was born! I am so very late to this party. In early June this year I was meandering around cable channels when I came across one that recycles old PBS shows. There I saw some guy, wearing what looked like a fitted mylar padded mailer, standing rigidly, moved stiffly and a little awkwardly, as he sang with an orchestra. His hair was combed straight back, and when he smiled he had bunny teeth. Not much to look at, but his music immediately grabbed me. It was a bit exotic, Continental. I call…

(Well at first I must make excuses about my English skills.) I’ve been sneaking around on this website long enough. I made a bet: if someone had made an introduction, so will I (thank you Franzi). Hey! I’m Saimi from (Pirkanmaa) Finland. I’m 15 years old and I go to upper secondary school. I live in the countryside. Some facts about me: My personality type is INFJ. I like the Swedish language (also the country). I like to play guitar. I cycle around a lot. I’d like to work in humanitarian aid. I started listening to music at the age 13. At first I appreciated only hit songs. I made a (70 h+) playlist that included popular music and every song …

Hello from Belfast!! My name is Emily and I am a MASSIVE Mika fan who hails from Northern Ireland. I have been a Mika fan for so long that I can't even remember when I became one! 🙈 I do remember sitting on my kitchen counter listening to Life in a Cartoon Motion for the first time. It became a favourite to listen to in the car when I was heading to primary school. I have searched high and low for a mailing list or somewhere to mingle with Mika fans and I am so happy I found this place!! I have been welcomed with open arms and I feel like I have finally found a home. I saw Mika in Belfast all those years ago (if anyone even remembers wh…

Hi everyone!! I'm Diana from Indonesia. I just joined MFC on September 15th. First of all, thank you MFC for allowing me to join. I would like to greet MFC members who have joined for a long time. I know that not many fans from my country join MFC, maybe because of lack of information, but that doesn't mean there aren't many Mika fans in Indonesia. I've only known Mika for the past few months, which is sad..😢, but better late than never!! 🤭🤣 It turned out that Mika had done a concert in Indonesia in 2013, which was even sadder😭, because I missed the concert..😖. I hope Mika is willing to come again to make a concert in Indonesia to meet his "Hardcore Fans", Mika…

hi everyone 👋 my name is Tomi, I'm a 17 years old, Hungarian boy. I've first discovered MIKA in 2018, when I was watching youtube and I fell into a loophole full of "The Voice" videos and saw one, where he covered Bohemian Rhapsody alongside Garou, Jennifer and Florent and one, where he "auditioned" with Grace Kelly. After that I checked out his music and realised that I've listened to his songs a lot when I was younger (especially from LICM) so I immediately fell in love with him, his music, his voice, his stage presence and his personality. He became and is my favourite singer. about me: I speak Hungarian, German and (mostly British) English, I love music, I p…

Hi, I'm Edith. I tried to join the forum a couple of days ago, but It didn't seem to work and I'm still trying to figure out the mechanics of it all. So, bear with me please, because I'm not a big internet or social media user (I had a myspace like a billion years ago and I use Youtube, but that's it). I'm an old fan. I was lucky to attend one of Mika's first gigs in 2006 and Gosh.. Did he make an impression.. So much talent and charm in such a beautiful package!! How could anyone resist his spell?? Over the years, I've come to admire him more and more because he's beautiful inside, too and just such an authentic and considerate so…

I may be new to the Mika Fan Club (you all seem like such wonderful people by the way) but I am not new to being a Mika Fan at all. It is quite recent that I started getting really into him and his music though. My name is Leo, I live in Switzerland and am open to questions if you have any. Mostly I am just here to have fun and appriciate Mika`s tendancy to stand on pianos. I have never been to a concert unfortunately, but am hoping to attend one when he comes to Sion in the summer! All in all, have a nice day! I`ve personally ordered it.

…but actually not new to being a fan of Mika! I‘m not usually a person who‘s really active in online fandoms because I get easily overwhelmed by the different "sub-groups" every fandom has on various social media, so I always stay rather silent and observe. But seeing the post where some of you lovely people handed over the yearbooks to him suddenly made me want to be a small part of this community, and how awesome is it that most of its activity seems to be revolving around this place here! My name is Sarina, I‘m 26 years old and from Germany. I’m currently in the process of graduating with a masters degree in the environmental field and taking on my doctoral…
