It was just announced on television that Mika will take part in the grand finale of Star Académie (Montréal, Québec) on March 25th 2012!

Star Académie is a singing talent show that happens every year

is it actually like... a "serious" show for people to be musicians or for people who enter there and entertain us (the ones who watch it)?

It's as serious as American idol or Xfactor.

There are some seriously good singers this year. (and one that can go VERY high) I'm sure the Mika portion will be fabulous.

We can expect a few songs. It's usually pretty long
