I still think "I was hiding From the things that you’d say" is "running"...
I mean, I know he said "hiding" in the acoustic version, but it sounds like "running" in the song...and...y'know, words can be changed

Nope, I'm afraid it's hiding in the recorded version too.

So is it cloud? Perez probably doesn't know for sure either. How could he.

On the recorded version I hear 'cloud' on purpose, but in the acoustic - clown.. maybe he picked up clown after ppl tweeting it to him

I'm on board with this except for the "many years have gone by" line. "g" and "b" are pretty solid consonants, and I'm just not hearing that when I listen to it closely. And I really think I hear "m" sounds on the bit I thought was "my mind". I've even used software to slow it down but it's a weird file format - I'ma convert it to MP3 and upload just the slowed-down bridge for your listening pleasure.
I suppose I won't be convinced either way until we get some nice footage of him singing those lines, and can read his lips.

I wouldn't be surprised. On the studio version I'm just not hearing "staying out of motion" no matter how hard I squeeze my eyes shut and try to hear it. If I hadn't heard the acoustic version, I'd be willing to bet half my confetti collection that there's an "r" sound in there, and that the words are "staring at."

After watching him sing it live on ITV2, the lyrics are definitely "Many years have gone by, I'm still wondering why".

Yup, it was nice and clear on the live version, even if I still don't hear it on the recorded clip. Same with with "staying out of motion" bit.
I can't wait to hear it live and in person.

We have a golden circus. We are golden.
We were teenagers.
We are teenagers.
The life grow with the sun everyday.
Nothing is impossible.
We are the dreamers.
Our dreams will be come true.
Our dreams are golden.
We have a golden circus.
We are golden.

This is just... fantastic. Wow, I'm speechless.
