See, that's exactly what I'm talking about! Oh well, I'll continue studying Swedish for a bit next semester, there's my chance to improve my skills. I'll probably never be able to understand spoken rikssvenska though.

Eh, that's nothing, people will understand you and you made no gramatical misstakes at all! I'm impressed actually You don't? But your swedish is so good! But do you understand any spoken swedish at all?

Wow, thanks! I'm always kind of hesitant about my Swedish, it's not as easy for me as English.

I understand finlandssvenska pretty well, and if you talk slowly enough I understand rikssvenska too but it's a bit more difficult for me. I spent a week in Jönköping last summer (lovely city, by the way! The people there were so friendly) and I had to rely on English because I panicked whenever someone came up to me and started speaking Swedish.

Haha I understand you, it's the same with my French even if it's not as near as good as your Swedish. When I visited Luxembourg I didn't have the guts to speak it at all, even if I knew exactly what to say
I've been eating at IKEA in Jönköping. That's my experience of that city

Oh you know French too, how cool! Mine is pretty bad as well, I wasn't half bad at it a few years ago but after my baccalaureate tests I haven't studied it so I can't remember a thing.

I didn't even know there was an Ikea in Jönköping! I did visit a church instead though and came across something very amusing.

You know how during services they sometimes pass on that little bag so you can give money for the church? This particular church had a solution for people not having cash with them.



I have never, EVER seen anything like this and that device just did not sit right in the church, it was a gorgeous one and I didn't expect to see something as high-tech as this there.

That thing does really not fir into the church and I never seen anything like it before. Didn't know they use high tech stuff I guess it's smart, but I don't think people are using it really, I can't imagine that people are giving away more then max 50 kronor and then you don't need need a machine

Yes the machine really killed the mood for me. I'm not a religious person by any means but some churches are really beautiful so it's nice to visit them.

I'm waiting for these too, especially a date in Finland... I feel like every band I like skips Scandinavian countries and tours every other country imaginable. And even though Mika's going to have the gig in Denmark that one is impossible for me to attend.

I agree, some churches are really really beautiful, especially the cathedrals in France and the nearby countries!

Oh I'm really sorry! I must've misunderstood something there. I only attend services if I have to, like weddings and such but I'm not a Christian either.

I'd love to visit cathedrals like that one day. But I have to admit that I find the really simple medieval ones even more attractive. They can be kind of creepy so I find them quite fascinating.

Yes I agree, but it's just that a lot of the churches in Sweden look like that so when you come to the cathedrals it's like wow! And then the windows are just gorgeous I want a window like that in my house
