Here's the Italian press release: MIKA pubblica il prossimo 12 novembre “SONG BOOK VOL.1”, la sua prima raccolta con 15 successi internazionali. Da “Grace Kelly” a “Celebrate”, passando per “Relax (Take It Easy)”, “Rain”, “Kick Ass”, “We Are Golden” e “Love Today”: tutte autentiche hit le cui vendite digitali in Italia sono state certificate oro, platino e multiplatino. Nel disco sono presenti anche due hit del passato in versioni diverse da quelle più note ( “Origin Of Love” e “Happy Ending”) , oltre a tracce mai apparse su un album, come la hit estiva “Live Your Life” e il brano “Stardust” in una nuova versione cantata in duetto con Chiara, vincitrice della scorsa edizione di X Factor. E’ inclusa anche la nuova versione di “Popular Song” (ispirata al musical Wicked) e cantata con Ariana Grande: il videoclip di questa canzone, pubblicato pochi mesi fa, conta ben trentaquattro milioni di visite su You Tube. La raccolta è il risultato di un lungo lavoro “Italiano” in cui l’artista, che recentemente ha preso casa a Milano, ha curato ogni aspetto del progetto: dalle scelta delle canzoni, alcune delle quali caratterizzate da importanti collaborazioni, alle fotografie e alle illustrazioni di copertina, realizzati appunto in Italia. Mika da quest’anno ha visto crescere in modo esponenziale la sua popolarità in Italia grazie al programma X-FACTOR a cui partecipa in qualità di giudice. La sua simpatia, l’estrosità, la competenza musicale e il suo “perfetto” italiano, imparato in pochi mesi, lo hanno confermato l’unica vera star della nuova stagione televisiva italiana. Mika ha pubblicato ad oggi 3 album d’inediti (“Life in cartoon motion”, “The boy who knew too much” e “The origin of love”) ed ha venduto più di otto milioni di album. If it comes out in the UK, for example, no one will know it exists and then there will be complaints that it's not being promoted by the record company.
