Not sure this one-man scissor sister thing is complimentry. Hes differnet from that and should be Known for his individuality.

Yes, I also think Mika is unique and should be known because of that, not because of the comparisons with scissor sisters.

Mika is very individual ( as we know
 ) but I suppose anyone reading the mag that hasn't heard him, it would give them a bit of a reference point for him?

I think that being compared to the Scissor Sister's isn't really that much of a bad thing because new stars are almost always compared to established stars/bands and that should definitely be taken positively.
