Hey everyone

I haven't posted any news about Axie for quite a long time and I'm sorry about that

but, as you know, Axie's recovery needs time and evolve quite slowly.

BUT she's really making great progress

As you know, she couldn't move the right part of her body since her coma and I'm really happy to tell you that she is now able to move her right arm quite well

Doctors say it's only a matter of time for her to be able to move her leg too

She's practising a lot in order to find her faculties back!! (actually, she's driving her nurses crazy because she doesn't want to stop practising

).

She does speak pretty well now too according to her daughter but can't receive any phone calls for now.

Doctors are talking about her living hospital in a few weeks or month and going to a re-education centre where she could continue her wonderful progress little by little with all the help she needs.

She came here on MFC a few times thanks to her daugther who brought her a computer. But unfortunately, it is difficult for her to understand english now... she only remembers a few words and it's asking her a lot of energy to understand. But it's not impossible that this improves a lot when she'll feel better.

oh! and there's no signs of cancer anymore

I'll give you news as soon as I can

This is such a miraculous story I can hardly believe it. I am so happy that she is making progress and even more that the cancer is gone. This is truly amazing!!

Nanou do you know if she remembers the gig in January? I kept thinking in those early weeks that it was one positive that the gig was held in time for her to go. It would be nice if she could remember it.
