OK folks. As most of you will know, we are planning a big party in London in January to celebrate 5 years of Mikafanclub.com
We know that a lot of people won't be able to attend so we would like to try and involve as many people as possible in different elements of the celebration. The first opportunity to get involved is designing the ticket for the event.
We know that a lot of you are very creative and it would be great if we could have a really fabulous ticket for our big day.

As you will see from the first few pages of this thread, we have realised that trying to include all the information onto the ticket design is causing problems. Blue Sky's sensible suggestion is that people just work on and submit a design and we can take the winning entry and create something that can be personalized later. Everyone just needs to save a copy of their artwork that includes a space for personalized info, but no actual info.
Christine recommends that the design is created in high resolution. What you see on a webpage is much lower resolution than what you would use to print. If the resolution is at least 150 pixels/inch, up to 300/in then it will look quite nice when it's printed.
Below are the guidelines for the design of the ticket.
*Design can be in colour or black and white although it will probably be more 'Mikaish' if it was in colour. (when people print their own ticket out B/W printing will be acceptable if colour isn't available.)
*A4 size.
Please include the following information on the ticket:
* The name of the event - MFC 5th Anniversary
*Thistle City Barbican Hotel, Clarkenwell, London, EC1V 8DS
*Saturday 7th January 2012
Please also allow space for the following information which can be added by us:
*Name
*Number
* Afternoon event (2pm - 5pm)
* Evening meal (7pm- 9pm)
* Disco (9pm - midnight)
Be as creative as you like with the design!
Please email your entry to me at
