This was a really fun gig! I have lost (literally and completely) my voice so I couldn't sing but enjoyed the gig dancing and having fun with Marion and Fran. Eva, Meggy, Mine, Leila and some other French fans had organized balloons and confetti and the both worked well, loved them! Everything before and after the gig was a mess and chaos but the gig was fab! Some photos in my blog, now I need some sleep.

Hello guys !

I haven't posted here since a while but I had such a good time yesterday that I wanted to share it with you :blush-anim-cl:

Well, since last year and all the mess that happened in Compiegne, I felt like I had to take time away from all the fans stuffs and queing and numbers things... That's not for me anymore !

So I came to last night gig in a very relaxed way : I arrived at the venue at 6.30 PM. I knew that with a small venue, I would have a good spot anyway, and it was the case ! I saw him very well :thumb_yello:

The venue is very beautifull and classy. As Tiibet said, he was in the spirit of the venue :mf_rosetinted:

The gig was awesome ! Mika is still the best and he knows how to make all the audience falling in love with him. :teehee:

We could read on his face how happy he was. He still has sparkles in his eyes and that moves me a lot.

At the begining we could notice he was exciting but also very tensed. He explained at the end of the gig that before going to the stage, he saw someone he hadn't see since 2 years who told him that he changed a lot and that person was expecting to see how Mika perform on stage now... Mika said he was really pissed off and angry... Because for him, he is still the same and he still writes his songs in the same way with the same sincerity :wub2:

That was a really touching moment...

I think the setlist is perfect : the best of Mika and his 3 albums within 22 songs and a 2 hours show ! Congrats Mika, I can say you are still the same and you rocked the Casino de Paris last night ! :thumb_yello:

Can't wait to see him in Nantes !

Hope my report is not too bad, I'm in the train to go back to work. See you next MFCers :wink2:

Hi !

My report : we arrived with Macboll around 1 pm and were given n° 38 and 39. We met Mikabéa and some other friends from a french forum, we tchated a little bit with some MFCers, met Cathblais and her husband from Canada and decided to go to have lunch.

Some of us tried to organize a proper queue with barriers and numbers, Mariposa and Macboll went to see and ask Ian what he could do. He said he would try to sort it out and would come back to them but he never came back :fisch:

So the queuing was a little bit messy, eventually they opened the medium door and everyone was pushed into the venue...

First part : Sophie Delila, very nice girl, nice songs, good voice :thumb_yello:

Then came the man himself, what a show man :thumb_yello:

He sang a lot of songs but I never remember in which order, I know he sang "Toy Boy", "Relax" (I'm not really sure for this one) and "We are golden" for the encore. The choir sang 8 songs.

He was very talkative yesterday !

He asked people how they felt and how they were screaming on mondays (on BIOTG), then he made them screaming lowder judging that it was ok for a friday...

A girl told him "I love you" and he answered "OK, let's get married, we will have some children and a house in Fontainebleau", Curtis was playing the piano and Mika said that it was the beginning of a love story movie :wub2:

Later he took a balloon and made it explode, saying what ? At the beginning, love is like a new fresh balloon and, at the end, we need to do that jumping on the balloon :aah:

Another thing : he started talking to us in french, and then in english saying that, otherwise, Curtis could not understand a word. Or he could understand the "piano" language, Mika was playing something and Curtis was answering playing another thing...

At a moment, Curtis started to play very fast and Mika sang very fast also, like a music you unwind, that was funny :aah:

He also asked people if they had drink something before coming ! Hands up if you have drunk :teehee: Ok one drink, how many people ? Two drinks ? Three ? Four ?

And who is drunk without having drunk anything ? Of course everyone put their hand's up :aah: and he started singing "Love you when I am drunk"

Well, well, well, a very good gig in my opinion :wink2: that was good to see him again :wub2:

We decided to wait for him outside, he came very late around 1.45 AM but he stopped and signed for everybody and tchated with some people, especially foreign fans. I remember he asked Mousetrap from Russia how she could stand the cold in winter in her country... Strange question, a lot of champagne maybe ? :aah:

OK, pictures to come !

Oh thank you for your answer :blush-anim-cl:

Don't worry, I'm ok and I won't blame the Compiegne things for my lack of activity on the fans comunity :wink2: It's just that I wanted to stand back a little and I have new priorities in my life now : new job, life with fiancé, etc. It’s just that I don’t have lot of free time to post :wink2: But so happy to attend a gig and see people !

DEB! It's so good to see you posting here again! :wub2:

Your photos are gorgeous Sweetieval :wub2: May I ask what kind of camera you used?

Thank you , yes my camera is a new one : Nikon D5100 (my birthday's gift :teehee:)

But I wish the zoom was bigger (only 3 times and it cost a lot of money to buy a new zoom lens )

oh really? Haven't been reading the reports lately, I was very busy, but I didn't know that! That's really cool, it's one of my favorites, so I hope to hear him sing it next time!

ah well then you're lucky (and we are too, to get your fab pix! :biggrin2:) that you were allowed to take it inside and take pix with it... maybe in france they're not that strict, but in germany you wouldn't be allowed to take such a camera to a concert.
