  1. I really enjoyed this! It's so nice to see an acoustic set from Mika because his musicianship really stands out. In a way, I kind of wish all his live shows were more about his music and less visuals (although I really like those too) because he has so much charisma he really can just sit or stand there and still be amazing. So no more news about a US show in the summer, right? Bummer.
  2. This is a really awesome video. It's great to get a new video from Mika. He looks fantastic at the end, and he's pretty decent acting in it too. Now I really extra hope he comes back to the US soon.
  3. Merry Mika to you and a Mikaful year!:huglove:

  4. Thanks very much for posting this! It was pretty funny. Was Mika nominated for this category?
  5. For Blue Sky: I'm pretty new here (joined just before his Chicago show), and it's been great to have your videos and pictures and posts to read as I get to know the MFC and the forums. I really appreciate your efforts! And, if people are petty enough to mouth off about you, but so cowardly to do it behind your back only, they aren't worth your or anyone's time.
  6. Now I'll associate Benadryl with "sleepy" for a while, thanks! Who knew that Benadryl would be the new Viagra.
  7. Thanks for the stills! It looks kind of like he got punched in the eye. He should take a Benadryl or something for the swelling.
  8. The video of him performing in the eye patch is up! It's kind of funny with the eye patch, but his voice sounds really tired and ragged for some reason. Hope it's not from screaming in pain from the insect repellent. Maybe the irritation will die down soon and the eye patch can come off. http://au.lifestyle.yahoo.com/sunrise/video/index.html?autoplay_id=16779032#embedded-video-top Update, the eye patch came off for the Rain performance. I guess the eye looked/felt better. Poor guy.
  9. I wonder if this means he'll have to wear his glasses more? I'd be in favor of that, he looks cute in them. Although, I am pretty sorry for him to have to make this kind of impression for his Asian tour. His fans will probably supply him with a lifetime's worth of awesome personalized eye patches. Maybe he can share with GaGa.
  10. Thanks for posting! I hope I can make it to the New York show. My sister lives in the area, and I'm going to bring her if I can. She loves the new CD, but didn't get to see him live on the US tour. Can't wait for more details!
  11. This thread is really fantastic. It took ages to get through all of it, but it's been a good time. Mika gives such funny interviews. This is from a pretty funny Australian interview: Mika half sings and half says the Orbit jingle and jokes: "Orbit chewing gum, and it's good for your teeth too! Oh my god, he's a prodigy! That boy is talented!" At 7:20 in the clip from buzznet. http://www.buzznet.com/www/search/videos/interview/10005641/mika-interview-australia/
  12. Thanks for posting the link. He looked a bit tired and awkward at the end of the interview, but I think I would too because the host sort of started doing her own thing away from him and he's just standing there. I caught him saying that he's going to be doing the Radio City Music hall in NY?! When is that going to be? Does that mean he's doing another tour in the US?
  13. I wish I were in the UK so I could see this. Apparently in the US they show Live from Abbey Road on the Sundance Channel, but they run a season behind. So they've only just started Season 2 here. Thanks in advance to anyone who'll post it online, or I'll have to write a post-it note reminder now for when the Sundance Channel shows it next year!
  14. This reply is years late but I only recently found this interview myself. I think you need to sign up for a Rhapsody account. After that, it's a free download for the whole interview. It's a good one, because it talks about his start in music, and it also addresses the bullying he experienced. He says that if he had the chance to have it easier in school, he would take it because he still hates the people who bullied him. Then he says that kids who are being bullied now shouldn't pretend that it isn't happening but keep in mind that school doesn't last forever. It's actually a very interesting interview about growing up, and having been kind of an angst-sy teenager, a lot of what he says makes a ton of sense. I'm always taken aback by how thoughtful he is.
  15. That is so sad, but he's such a pro for keeping the show going instead of cutting it short. It seems like he cares enough about the fans to make sure they have a good time even if he's going to suffer for it.
