  1. Change is good, change is normal, change is healthy. However, sometimes change is not for the better.....unfortunately I find his new songs bland and boring, life- and meaningless. I really really wanted to like his new songs. I was hoping and waiting for some interesting turn in the song whilst listening to "Celebrate", but nothing...... The second time I listened to "Celebrate", I had to force myself to listen til the end, and I managed just because it is Mika singing it. If it had been a song by anyone else, I would have switched off halfway through. (Which I actually did with his other new song, of which I already forgot the title). I don't mind the fact that the new songs are more electronic. In every music style there are great songs, but I did not expect such blandness from Mika. Same goes for the new website: bland and boring. If I had known that his old website would disappear, I would have taken another thorough look at it......oh what a shame.
  2. What a brilliant concert this was, Mika's live shows always spread happiness!! The only thing I missed is "One Foot Boy" - he never played it during the shows I've seen. Love that song !
  3. WOW !! reading the reports for Cattolica was amazing, I just wanted to have a quick look but then got glued to my screen ! Amazing concert, wonderful atmosphere, and the cake-surprise was fantastic. And oh my goodness, those sunglasses !!!!:mf_rosetinted: Very thoughtful of the fans who organised it, and Mika seemed so happy !!! What a lovely person he is, he seems such a genuine guy, really appreciating his fans and audience. Like him more and more !! Again, just wonderful ! Would have loved to be there. Fantastico, well done, bella Italia !!!
  4. Sariflor and Suzie, Thanks very much for your explanations. At least now I know why I never got right to the front at the concerts I've been to, although I was there early (apparently not early enough!)
  5. Thank you very much, Sariflor, for your reply !! It is a bit more clear now, although I still don't get who attributes the numbers to the waiting fans, and where all this happens - at the normal entry doors? And what if a huge group of fans is already waiting, who decides who gets which number? Still a bit lost....also about the meet and greet, because at the concerts I have been to, I've never seen anyone informing fans. Or is it just a matter of being at the right place at the right time, or knowing the right people? Greetings from confused
  6. Hello wow this is a big discussion about those list etc. Though no one has yet replied to my question of my previous post, of how this system works - how it is possible to receive a number for example, and how you know where to go. I have been to plenty Mika concerts and it seems to me impossible to work all that out. I would not know which door to go to if I arrived at a venue early in the morning, and who tells you that a meet and greet is happening - how do you know all these things ?? Or is this a privilege to those "hardcore" MFC members? So there is a sort of "hierarchy" within this fan club? hmmmm still waiting for someone to enlighten me...thanks ! Hilly
  7. I have been to Colmar too, what a FANTASTIC concert ! I have read about the meet and greet some people had, and cannot help asking how this works? I have been to so many Mika concerts, but never know where to go, or what to do, to just briefly see him for a "Thank you" ! Weird - I was also in Brixton 08, and also missed it....went home and afterwards found out about that party .... Could someone maybe enlighten me how you know where to go to receive numbers, and wristbands? And how/when it is announced that there is going to be a M & G at all? That would be so kind ! Thanks, Hilly Oh, and thanks for all the photos you guys uploaded, my camera (or my photographic talent) is rubbish and those pics are such nice souvenirs !!!
