  1. Just sent in mine too!!! I degraded the video size and it’s sent without any errors. I filmed hundreds of times until today. But I’m not sure if it’s a best take or not. I did my best anyway. I hope Mika or a person who will edit will enjoy at least… I’m exhausted!!!
  2. I just finished filming me singing C’est La Vie and the video size is 225 mb but the application form says it exceed 250 mb … 😞
  3. Ok. I see.. Thank you so much! Now l’ll concentrate on singing C’est La Vie… and filming a video of me singing it along with Karaoke version. It seems I’ve still got a long way to go.
  4. Hi there! It’s Yuko. Could someone tell me about sending a copy of signed authorization please? Is there an authorization form? Or does it mean I only need to check ✔️the two boxes in the application form when I upload my video? I’m not sure if I can film my video but above all, it seems a bit complicated for me to understand what I need to do to keep all the rules…
  5. Mika wasn’t mean to you. I would rather say he was “teasing” you! But I think he really meant that digital cameras are way more better than iPhone cameras. Thank you for being a photographer for me! Also thank you for encouraging me when I almost lost chance to take photos with Mika in Tokyo since I was the last in line. I was really happy that he was in that kind of happy mood in Japan, not only to us but to all of us at the M&G. I think I wasn’t a right person to be a contact person after all but thank you for your kind words. As I’ve always telling you, you’ve been helping me a lot and you helped me again especially in Osaka this time, NaoMika-san! You also helped the people who came abroad, and guided where you put your big luggages and how we buy the drink tickets and enter the venue, which I’m sure meant a lot to them.
  6. Here’s my photo with Mika at the M&G in Tokyo. As I was the last person in the queue, I almost lost chance to take this photo. The black wall in the background looks so special. Thank you very very much Mika, Deb-san and my friends who’ve supported me. Here’s a funny story. Mika didn’t let me use my iPhone to take this photo. He told me to put it away and let NaoMika to use her digital camera instead, because it’s a good camera.
  7. Thank you for your reply! I didn’t ask you first! You kindly asked me for any help first! If that’s not what you really ment, I shouldn’t have asked you anything. I’m very sorry! But you really helped me a lot! Let’s hope to see Mika very soon again! Sure! I’ve deleted the mentioning.
  8. Hi! Sorry for my belated post! My Osaka day had started from the nightmare. I overslept and got panicked in that morning! Since I’d been quite busy working and had to prepare for OSAKA, TOKYO and SEOUL, and Mika had set this tour schedule quite tightly, it was quite difficult for me to prepare my trip, so I couldn’t sleep till early in the morning. Taking a pain pill before I went to bed might affected too. I had to move from Yokohama to Osaka, so the time was limited too. Most importantly, I was asked from Deb-san the day before, if I could be the contact person for both Tokyo and Osaka and said YES! I first contacted the promoter person (pretending nothing bad is happening to me), and checked and arranged how we could receive the back stage passes before the venue opens, because it was a standing concert and once we got in, we didn’t want to move the place. Then, I had to tell everyone who will be attending the m&g in Osaka, how to receive our backstage pass! As I was contacting Mayu-san, she kindly offered to assist me with this! She tried to make me calm down and contacted everyone including non Japanese speaking people. I wish Mayu-san will get a reward for this some day soon… please… I managed to get to the venue in time and hugged tightly with NaoMika who also was waiting for me to come. I really thought I might can’t make it but I strongly thought, even if I can’t, I have to make everyone to attend the m&g with Mika! On the way from Namba station to the venue, Annie said hi to me, seeing Mika t-shirt I was wearing. Everyone started to gather up gradually and naturally. So happy to see some familiar faces from abroad and felt so nice. No wonder Mika feels at home every time he sees us all! The show was fabulous! He started with Lollipop telling us he has been sleeping in Namba Hatch for 7 years. ( the last time he performed at that venue was 10 years ago though. ) The next song was Origin Of Love and the tension got higher. So I held up my WELCOME BACK sign that I made. Luckily he managed to read it. I saw him widen his eyes trying to read it while singing! He said he wants it but the stage was far and his cameraman took it and handed it to Mika on the stage! He pointed ARIGATO part and he moved his hand to the audience. I was so touched, because for 7 years ( I met him in NY in 2019 though) I’d been thinking that what I want to tell Mika will be “welcome back to Japan!”. I wanted him to feel Japan is another place on earth where he can come back anytime. A Japanese fan since Mika’s debut burst into tears when she saw Mika in person. She also held up a sign during the concert which says JAPAN’s BEEN WAITING FOR YOU MIKA! She told me Mika pointed it with his finger from the stage. I was really happy that he picked up our pictures for his Instagram post, because I think it means our message really reached him. And the Tiger mask with long fangs!!! What was that!? So beautiful. He wore a green long cape and looked like the King!!! He revealed it for the first time, right? It’s always in Europe when you see something for the first time. He said in an interview that he couldn’t bring his new large props he created recently. Too big to bring them all the way to Asia. I cannot wait to see the whole things soon! Everything about Mika was perfect and I was too happy and didn’t cry at all! It was too fun and I didn’t get emotional. I cried afterwards, but only a little bit. M&G with Mika started very quietly, since Mika was keeping his voice down. But he looked so happy to see everyone there including old familiar faces in Japan. Andy, Adam and a steel cameraman were there too. I liked the atmosphere that Andy and Adam were so kind to us too and let us talking with them friendly. I saw some people wrote him a letter or cards and explained how much they love Mika and waited for a long time. To me, Mika looked like he was keeping it in his heart, everything he heard and saw. After that, before he leaves the venue, he kindly came off from the car and said hi to everyone there who were waiting for him outside. I brought my gifts but I‘ve left them inside the locker during the M&G so I gave them to him there but a Japanese staff who were standing next to Mika took them from me. My Day-one ended like this. Yuko
  9. Hi! I finally got home. Sorry for my belated post, but I came back from Korea quite late at night so please understand. What a night it was in Tokyo! My impression of the audience in Tokyo are usually very shy and polite compared to those in Osaka, but this time, we were loud! Mika was able to warm us up by walking into the audience during Big Girl which was the 3rd song of the set list, and he came down again a few songs later, during Popular Song. I felt the whole venue got so happy and excited, and became one! I think lots of people could feel like as if they were in the front row or even closer! How clever of him. As you already know, he also appeared on the stage twice for saying goodbye after the last song, and even sung 2 songs for the encore, wearing his pajamas! (the CasaMika one!) Yayyyy!!! Tokyo! I’m so proud of us!!! lol I felt like, finally the Spring had come to Tokyo. Tickets sale for Tokyo and Osaka started last December and got sold out at the beginning of May. It took a long time to get sold out. Universal Music did a streaming party on YouTube a night before the Osaka show, and that was good too. I saw some comments in the chat area saying “ I have to revise the lyrics before the show!” or something like that. As for the M&G, first of all, I want to thank Deb-san for arranging the M&G, asking Mika team for doing it in Japan, both in Osaka and Tokyo. I didn’t do anything special. I’ve already told Deb-san but my friends around me helped me with this a lot. I cannot thank them enough. The promoter people I talked were very kind and understanding as well. After the show, the promoter person actually told me that the M&G is going to be very short since Mika had ended up doing such a long show that night, he got tired and been out of voice. (I think it meant he had to keep his voice down for the following shows.) But as it turned out, he took a long time talking and taking pictures with each one of us! That tells all, right? We were kind of queuing in a very narrow room so he tried to start talking from the people who he hadn’t seen for more than 7 years or the first time. Very generous of him. Luckily, we all managed to talk with him. He didn’t rush back to his dressing room. (I was sorry for the people waiting outside because he rushed back to his hotel not showing himself up for them.) I remember that he sounded happy to find out some people from the video asking Mika questions, and he started talking a lot! lol He even started talking to Adam’s camera as well. Some people showed him their written messages saved in their smart phones so that they can cover up their English speaking abilities. I think that effort had reached Mika’s heart as well. Thanks to Deb-san’s generosity, I was able to see Mika at both M&G. But since Osaka was a standing concert and I put my gifts in the locker and didn’t have time to get it by the M&G. So I gave it to him afterwards but had to hand it to one of the Japanese staffs who was standing next to him. I gave him some snacks that I like. The caramel popcorns he was eating in one of his pictures he posted as instagram stories, was from me. Then, in Tachikawa, I got the chance to explain about my gifts, which was very lucky. He said he ate the whole package of the caramel popcorns! He said “So naughty.” (lol) He also said it reminded him of his childhood… I was really happy to be able to talk with him and even laugh together a bit during this little conversation. Also I gave him a pepper mill to show my gratitude for him doing “Cooking with Mika” at the very beginning of the pandemic, and made us happy. He knew the Japanese brand and said it’s perfect! I cannot thank enough for this special opportunity. Another great memory with Mika fills my heart. Yuko x
  10. Wow I’m flattered. Thank you very much for saying so. I got so relieved and happy when I confirmed that everyone got their back stage passes!
  11. I’ve just finished watching all the 5 episodes(sorry 6!). Thank you very much for everything, everyone here… as always. I enjoyed very much, but I really cried a lot! I needed lots of tissues, like Mika had said. lol I think every performers were really great including some people who didn’t get the opportunity to play at the Royal Festival Hall. But yes, especially Lucy’s piano playing touched my heart. Mika and Lang Lang were a really good combination! It’s always Mika who talks a lot (too much? lol) but Lang Lang also talked a lot which made me smile. It was really great that I was able to see him being a mentor speaking in English only… He is so talented!!! I fell in love with him again, and miss him so much. I can’t wait to see him again in May in Japan. sorry for this long post.
  12. Hi Deb-san, Thank you very much for sharing this! I thought I won’t be able to watch this! But this isn’t the one you can easily give up as a Mika fan. He’s really good at being a judge of this kind of program!
  13. Wow! Thank you for making these into one song Deb-san! I think everyone did a great job! Some parts are really funny. And thank you for putting my name down as well! Even though I just ended up dropping an idea. It was kind of my desire, wasn't it. I like singing but this song "Dear Jealousy" is tongue twister for me and this Quarantine song is even more...!!!
  14. Hi there! I've watched the Instagram live. I would re-write Intro like this! [Intro] Quarantine, bring Mika’s concerts back to us
Yuko
Hey everybody in Japan! This is Mika! And aah… to all my fans in Japan, I just want to say hello, Merry Christmas, and also I want to wish you a Happy New Year! We’re here backstage of The Voice in France, and it’s been a while since my last concert, but as I’m finishing everything up on my new record, I'll obviously be coming to tour and I will be touring also in Japan. So until then, I hope that you are..., I hope that you will come and see me next time I come over, and I hope that you follow some of the things that I’ve been up to. I know they’re far away but still..., and I can’t wait to come back. Bye! https://youtu.be/UIPNukKfGNw
  18. Merci beaucoup!
  19. It's ok! I think I read your tweet too. I know we cannot do everything what we want to do with Mika! But thank you for remembering my request! And I hope your daughter got well. Unfortunately, as far as I know, we don't have any radio show that you can listen it online... hmmm...
  20. Really? They allowed to use the phones? Fingers crossed then. It would be great if your daughter could help you. yes. We have to know we’re very lucky in Japan but I don’t hear much from the core fans, especially after we found out it was sang in French... but I hope they like it and are talking a lot and only I don’t hear them.
  21. If it’s possible please record and show us the video while asking him about it! Because we haven’t heard anything from Mika about this cover! I know you can’t bring in your phone while shooting though. Lots of Japanese fans (not the core fans!) are tweeting about it saying like “Wow, is it that Mika?!” “It’s very chic!” and so on. If I could share the full song legally... it’s been on radio almost everyday in Japan!
  22. Thank you so much! I like the sound of the French words so much, so I enjoy singing it over and over again, now with proper lyrics. I'd been singing it, imitating Mika's pronunciation. I'm very curious to know why he chose to sing it in French, I mean without any Japanese at all, changing the lyrics into a totally different thing. I was expecting to hear Mika singing in Japanese. I've been thinking about it and imagining so many possibilities, and always end up with "well, this is Mika". And sing like this. Sorry... But please don't get me wrong. I'm really in love with Mika's version very much. I like it more than the original.
