  1. I can't believe how beautiful this program is. I'm enthralled watching the sequence Sarah+Gregory => Pick up off the floor => The boy who came from the future => Rebel, Rebel.
  2. Clean Bandit published on Twitter about singing with Mika: It was very special to do a performance with @mikasounds duetting with @YazzieFierce on his incredible Italian TV show with the craziest set I've ever seen #casamika! There was a giant toaster!! And a giant bath tub. http://bit.ly/CBCasaMika My sister took me to one of Mika's first gigs in London at Shepherd's Bush Empire about 11 years ago(!?) and then Jack and I took a bus to see him in a festival in Florence around that time too. So to come together and do this in Milan now was extra exciting for us!!
  3. Ciao! Sono qui per chiedere consigli. I'm the happy winner of a ticket for Stasera Casa Mika and I'm planning my trip to Milano. I have a couple of questions: how do you get to the studio (public transportation)? And back to the city at 2am?! Could I join a group so as not to be on my own? Thanks in advance for your help.
  4. Ticket to give away for tonight's concert. I 'll be at the door at 7:30pm.
  5. I am dazzled and seriously fangurling. As every Tuesday night after watching the show, I just can't go to sleep! Tomorrow I'll be on another planet at work, sleep-deprived and happy, and wanting the day to be over to get home and watch my favorite moments on replay!
  6. I absolutely love this show! The suits, the speeches, the music, the faces! The whole is so beautiful in every way. I really liked The Origin of Love last night and felt happy for Mika when he realised that Zingaretti was reading his song. And I'm learning a lot about Italy and the Italian people. Love the taxi stories. It's such a pleasure to spend the evening watching the replay. Grande Mika!

  8. Bonjour, je tente ma chance ici: quelqu'un aurait un billet à vendre pour Carcassonne ?
  9. Hello, does anyone have a spare ticket for Carcassonne ?
  10. I have to agree on that, I really like this version of "Hurts"
  11. Désolée, le billet a trouvé preneur hier soir !
  12. I have one ticket to the Bordeaux gig to give away, anyone interested ?
  13. The show was out of this world. I just want to point out that the fans played a key role in making it really special! From the point of view of the average person attending the gig, it was magical to see the colourful balloons popping out from the dark when hearing the first notes of “Talk About You”. And you guys gave a whole new meaning to “L’amour fait ce qu’il veut” with the rainbow flags! It was so joyful, and a beautiful celebration of love and acceptance. Mika was so sexy, all dressed in white and dancing under the disco ball. The stars were aligned that night, everything fitted. And fans were part of it. Fans actions are like a sacred heritage and must be preserved! This show is so rich in visual elements: Mika’s costumes, the back setting, the stained-glass door, the puzzling caravan, the lightning. A special mention to that monumental door that opens up to release “The Origin of Love”. I would’ve loved to be able to press on “pause” every then and now to fully appreciate what was being unfolded before our eyes. What about releasing a DVD, Mikasounds?!
  14. Hi, I have 1 extra ticket for Paris Sept. 19 (seated, 45euros).
  15. I've been on my own at home during the August holidays and I've been listening to the new album in my living room sound system (I'm only allowed to play my music there at full blast when there's nobody else at home). It’s awesome when played from beginning to end! Every song sounds great, with different layers of music and meaning, exactly what I like of Mika’s work. I’m particularly fond of “Ordinary Man”, which hadn’t impressed me much at first; I love the construction, the layers and the lyrics, with a wonderful conclusion “if love was ordinary and I was ordinary, are you too?” Killer Mika, I love you! I have the British deluxe version and I’m wondering how the order in which the songs are played influences the feeling that you get (different from the French version, for instance?).
  16. Excellent venue for an unforgettable show! I attended the gig with a friend of mine who didn’t want to spend hours standing, so we arrived at 10p.m. and we got a spot really close to the scene. I couldn’t believe it. I think it’s the closest I will ever see Mika. I was even able to see his beautiful eyes when he came to the barrier. This man is stunning. I knew it beforehand but I still feel so lucky to have seen him performing live for the second time. It’s addictive. I LOVE “The origin of love” live! It was nice to see the hearts, stars, suns and balloons that front-row fans were holding in their hands during the show. Could anyone tell me what was written in the banners that were shown to Mika while he sang “Good Guys”? After the show I was walking my dog when I saw a group of people going towards the backstage door. I followed them and for a second I fantasised with the idea of meeting Mika and taking a picture of Mika and my dog together. Hon, too bad! Looking forward to see a new show in Paris in September, inshallah!
  17. Very funny song, couldn't stop dancing while walking my dog! My new anthem at home when my boyfriend is around.
  18. Où s'en vont-ils Ces baisers qui se perdent... J'adore cette chanson, la plus belle découverte de cet album. La voix de Mika est parfaite et les instruments déclinent merveilleusement bien la mélodie.
  19. This was my first Mika gig and I loved it! I convinced my boyfriend to drive five hours to Tournus to attend the event. I must say that the food&wine factor helped a lot. We arrived on site just in time to sample the most delicious food trucks (tuna burgers and gazpacho). We got a spot not so far away from the scene, compacting our bodies into the already packed area. Fortunately, it’s easy to see Mika from a distance. These are some of my highlights of the evening: Mika himself, I still can’t believe how energetic, spontaneous and tall he is. Being so charming is not humanly possible. He ate a fly and then gave us an insight of how his brain works with associations of ideas. So funny. That voice, so strong and warm. I was surprised by how pleasant it is when he speaks to the audience. The shoes! Love that. The Mika jump on the piano, impressive. Mika asking the audience to sing and dance, in a collective prayer of joy. The slightly modified version of Lollipop, with Mika singing something like “I’ve lived my life and love hasn’t get me down”. Mika dancing, it’s just lovely (he won’t do Dancing with the Stars, I think). And the songs, of course, LIVE!!! Underwater blew off my mind, amazing; Origin of Love, my wish has been granted, I heard it live and it’s even better than I thought; We Are Golden made me sing from the top of my lungs; Elle Me Dit and BBB, for the ambiance that they created, everyone on the same “wave”. Time goes by so fast during the gig but I enjoyed every minute. Thanks to everyone for posting videos from this gig and allowing me to live those moments again.
  20. Grace Kelly playing in an art gallery on the island of Murano (Venise). It felt strange for me: Mika is my soundtrack at home but not during my holidays.
  21. Love this song! Thanks for posting! P.S. I'm learning the emoticon language...
  22. Thanks a lot for the videos, you made my day! Mika performing! I like the suit and I even like Talk about you!
  23. I like the video. Watching Mika singing almost makes me forget that I don't like the song! I'm not shocked by the Valentino suits, they are part of the character now and I think he's cute wearing that. I'm looking forward to my first gig!
