hello, just back at home after a short night.

Mariposa did a perfect report, i was really happy to see her again( next time , feel free to pm!!!!).

Mika seemed quiet, he jumped on stage , said it was an honor for him , that his sisters wouldn't be so happy to get another Mika...and talked about his new haircut: oui , je sais , j'ai complètement foiré, if someone can translate?).

The professionnals photographs did theit job and while we were invited to join the party.

There were quite some VIP's children who surrounded him when he came to us, some of us were far and didn't know he was there....

Yes I know I completely messed it up

Yes Iknow I totally ruined it

Could be (acceptable?) translations

I crossed him when he came to the table where his mam was waiting with family/ friends:

me: hello , Mika , how are you?

Him: oh hello , how elegant you are tonight!!!

me : Hiiii, hiiiiii ( pathetic but i had nothing to tell him and he tried to walk to his seat.)

Then , as mariposa said , we were separated but we were so happy , drinking champagne, eating some macarons and others curious canapes...

Some of us didn't notice Mika was gone, we stayed until the last bottle....was empty.

Oh, Macboll and Sweetival made me meet a man who was at Bercy , just behind me , when i did a kind of choregraphy on the black eyes peas, he wanted to meet "Lillibet";

Ah oui, the joke of this night: i had an invitation in hands but at the second check point , MY name was not on the list, i had to wait for Mr Universal; In fact with Isa's help , i came in easily: the french organisation.

All the fairy tickets guests were on the list, i had your sms deb , so i didn'd dare to answer because i was afraid you could sleep at this moment.

Voilà!!!

Glad to hear you had such a great time!! and how cool that he told you you look elegant:wub2:

thanks dani:flowers2:

@lillibet: That's right. Forgot to mention all of them children :wink2:

I mean, it's usually cute to have kids asking Mika for an autograph etc., but it were just so many. Dividing the room in two was a great idea to make the evening more pleasant for everyone.

Still seems like a dream or at least very unreal to me...

I have no idea how long we have to wait for new Mika gigs, but I think I've read in one of the French reports that Mrs P told them that's we were gonna have to wait "several years" for a new (proper) tour. Well, it's no real news actually, but still - sounds sooooo long :aah:

Don't wanna spread any rumours :wink2:

But I think it's normal that there probably won't be another big tour for at least - let's say - 2 years...These things need a lot of preparation.

No idea about an acoustic tour before that...Would be great! :thumb_yello:

I was really happy (and lucky) to be in Paris yesterday to be an MFC witness of Frances' admiration for and recognition of Mika's talent.

It was really nice to meet fans I knew again, and to discover new faces (Mikajoe, Florence and a few others I can't find their names at the moment because of a short night).

The Musée Grévin is a beautiful building (marble, golden ornaments, paintings) so I really hope Mika will do a show there someday!

The MFC representatives we were for yesterday's event had a few problems to get in (only the 4 names given by the MFC were accepted and not the 4 others) but it was (rather) quickly solved... what a relief it was!

We were welcomed by George Clooney (what else?)... I mean his double. Elton John's double was playing the piano. Later on, we met torturers from the Middle Age, Nostradamus, and even the statues of the leaders of several countries (we could check how short is Mr Sarkozy) and of French football players...

We were led to our seats (the fan club was gathered in 2 rows) and the cerremony started at 20.30. we saw Mrs Penniman and her two beautiful and smart daughters (Yasmine whose hair is longer now wearing a black dress, and Zuleika in a baby pink dress).

Among the VIPs present were Véronique (a 1980s fitness tv presentator), Christian Morin (a 1980s/1990s tv game presentator (the wheel of fortune)), Arturo Bracchetti (an illusionist) and Doriand, the only one really Mika related (singer/songwriter who adapted Grace Kelly's lyrics for the French version). A few of us saw Mrs Chirac too.

to be continued (lunch time for my little ones)

Thank you for your great report!:wub2:

I agree with you, the statue is well made. Of course it's a little creepy but that's the way it is with wax statues!:wink2:

I like that :thumb_yello:

Wika and Mika :teehee:

2 years seem to me quite reasonable.. means 2012

And we are in 2011 in only 1 month :thumb_yello:

From the New York Post blog

A stare is born

I don't know what Mika did to the staff at Paris' Musee Grevin, but the dazed dummy they're trying to pass off as his wax replica is remarkably accurate -- saved for the bewildered gaze, which is more bloodshot eyes than "Blue Eyes."

In other news, anyone know when the hell we're getting new music from the falsetto fella? I'm hearing 2011, but that's all I got.

Later on, we met torturers from the Middle Ages, Nostradamus, and even the statues of the leaders of several countries (we could check how short is Mr Sarkozy) and of French football players (the 1998 world cup winners)...

We were led to our seats (the fan club was gathered in 2 rows) and the cerremony started at 20.30. We saw Mrs Penniman and her two beautiful and smart daughters (Yasmine ,whose hair is longer now, wearing a black dress, and Zuleika in a baby pink dress. Very classy.).

A few of us saw Mrs Chirac's look alike (it was just the same hairstyle :aah:).

A groom (he made me think of Spirou, a well known comic character in Belgium and France) and me

:thumb_yello: so the man was really delighted when I told him that she was there and he could be introduced to her :biggrin2::thumb_yello:

The party was posh... the good thing is it meant that the food was delicious (bagels with cheese/lettuce, smoked salmon, smoked ham and macarons ) and the champagne good quality (champagne Deutz).

Mika was "assaulted" by mini fans (ie children) who were happy to get autographs and pictures, then grown up non fora fans. Some fora fans then took a chance to talk to him or get autographs. It was hard to resist but I didn't approach him... I felt a bit sorry for Mika and his family and respected the MFC instructions. So I had just to enjoy the "menu" as if I were on a diet :aah:

I was back home just before 4 am and slept 3 hours. As we don't know when we'll see Mika again, it was worth the sleep deprivation and 2 days off :wink2:
