I do not care about glasses ... I WANT THE BLOODY ALBUM ... *stomps foot*

*wanders out*

:lmfao:

Patience, Laurel, patience. :wink2:

Aristotle said: Patience is bitter, but its fruit is sweet.

At this rate, just think how amazing this new album is going to be! :roftl:

I like sunglasses and I like the 70's and I kind of like Mika :mf_rosetinted: So it's all good for me :thumb_yello:

Ha, me too! Didn't know Mika was ever in the '70s though so I'm surprised to see he's back. :roftl:

I'm not crazy about the blue lenses but he looks great in the pic. :mf_lustslow:

Preparatevi.

Inizia un nuovo viaggio.

So I wonder if this is implying that Mika's new music is going to have a

'70s sound?

It says:

"Lozza is more and more international. Our success, thanks to you all,

has transcended boundaries.

Our new ambassador (spokesperson), exceptional and well-loved, will accompany us to

London, to Paris, to Los Angeles, to discover a world where music meets

the '70s. Where success begins with a marvelous smile.

Prepare yourselves.

A new journey begins."

Not complaining, of course -- I grew up in the '70s. :wheelchair:

Love '70s...ABBA, Bob Marley, Bruce Springsteen, Eagles, The Police... :wub2:

If the album resumes the rhythms of those years, it will be truly spectacular!

I think it's the glasses that look fake/Photoshopped, not Mika. And they clash badly with the colours in the slogan.

My first thought when I saw the reference to the '70s was of late

'70s disco -- Bee Gees, Stayin' Alive, type of music --

because a lot of the folks he's been collaborating

with have been very dance-music oriented: Benny Benassi, William Orbit,

Martin Solveig... But that font on the photo definitely has a more late '60s,

early '70s era, groovy, flower power-type feel to it. Will Mika be channeling

James Taylor?

Hmm, other possibilities from the '70s... Elton John, ABBA, Queen, Bowie, T-Rex, and then even on to Supertramp, Sweet, Sparks, Blondie... As long

as he doesn't take the Led Zeppelin, Who, Kiss, Aerosmith path, I guess I'll

be happy. :naughty:

My thoughts exactly! :thumb_yello: can't wait to see the pics! I love 70's style, but I never thought Mika using it (would love to hear what he thinks about it, this is not his own work, just modeling).

Didn't he say somewhere that his French songs would have a Supertramp influence?
