Lyrics

Fedez

disturbi ereditari sfortunati ereditieri

Mika

It's a beautiful disaster
It's a beautiful disaster

I get this feeling I can't miss
you're getting harder to resist
and maybe by the time I know
it'll be too late to let you go
who knew my heart could beat so quick
my life I'd give away for this
don't care what anybody sees
I know I am doing this for me

Fedez

e a tutti noi cresciuti dentro camere oscure
dove ogni stronzo mente e la verità pure

Mika

It's a beautiful disaster
It's a beautiful disaster

I get this feeling I can't miss
you're getting harder to resist
and maybe by the time I know
it'll be too late to let you go
who knew my heart could beat so quick
my life I'd give away for this
don't care what anybody sees
I know I am doing this for me

I can be your butterfly
love you so hard that I could die
one night can make it worth it all
what a beautiful way to fall

It's a beautiful disaster
beautiful disaster

I get this feeling I can't miss
you're getting harder to resist
and maybe by the time I know
it'll be too late to let you go
who knew my heart could beat so quick
my life I'd give away for this
don't care what anybody sees
I know I am doing this for me

Beautiful disaster
It's a beautiful disaster
It's a beautiful disaster
It's a beautiful disaster

English translation of the Fedez' parts:

by Alyara

I keep repeating it in my mind just not to fall asleep
I stay awake because the best is yet to vanish
to dream about a different way of getting up again
like the rain falling without ever getting hurt
where did you come from? says an uncertain voice
I don't know but we entered by an open wound
the scars tell us to stay among the weaks
we talk using the permanent sign language
like yesterday you weren't there
hereditary problems, unlucky heiresses
because who criticizes you often is the first one to slay you
when throwing a stone means more than a plea
they told us not all that glitters is gold
but they said so because all that glitters is theirs
now I want to shout out loud, life sucks but the view is amazing

I take those pieces of life I lived by mistake
and I turn them into little worthy emotions
some live no matter what, some live locked up in a bunker
those who live in the light can see the beginning of the tunnel
with a heart of stone, you with a guilty conscience
sick and tired of sticking our heads in the anger
eating the dirt, flavoring the soil
now we seek peace even at the cost of making war against you
with 24 thousand kisses maybe Judas would've wiped us out
feeling inadequate, feeling one of many
a wasted occasion turns men into thieves of regrets
predatories born with a guilty soul
report your life for misleading happiness
and to all of us grown up in dark rooms
where every asshole lies and the truth does too

I could listen to all of the songs but Mika's was greyed out so I couldn't play it.

I've heard the song from someone else, but not on Spotify, which won't let me listen to anything except 21 Grammi. :dunno: I'll wait until after midnight to see if the change of date does anything.

I could listen to it this night on Spotify, but this morning it isn't available any more. I can't buy it on French iTunes either because I should buy Fedez's album to get it  :sneaky2:. You can only buy it as a single on iTunes Italy.

I must say that  I like it a lot even if I am not used to listen to rap, but Fedez has a nice voice and italian is such a beautiful language. Mika's parts are so melodic and his voice  . I wonder if Mika has composed those parts?

I think it's "DICE una voce incerta".

Anyway, rap is not usually my thing but Mika's part is beautiful even though his voice sounds a bit altered, but I think it matches well with the style of the song. I can't wait to listen to the version sung by Mika only.

I'm a bit prejudiced because i hate rap in general... or better... rap is very boring for me.  :sleep_1:

And the bad italian pronunciation of Fedex is always quite irritating.

The refrain of the song title by Mika is nice but quite boring.

The rest of his part remember me the beat and the cadence of Celebrate.

Anyway if i will bump into this song on the radio i think i will not turn off... i think i can listen it and maybe even enjoy it.

 There is a music that i hate more than rap: the bad remixes of beautiful songs... for example the Life in Cartoon Motion remixes...

I realized that my opinion on the song is compatible with the title... an almost Beautiful Disaster  :punk:

I had higher expectations, perhaps, I really don't get the enthusiasm I read on some tweets.

But everyone has his opinion, of course.

Fedez made impressive duets, many more than this, this is perhaps the less remarkable one, indeed.

The lyrics are not memorable ones (Mika's part I mean) and his voice seems too much modified, not only in the end.

It doesn't work on Spotify for me anymore, too :/ But it's on Amazon.de as single song download, so may check your local Amazon (and may be fast, seems like they want to push whole album sales, and this could be a mistake like the international Spotify release last night seemed to be)

Could be that Spotify has retired the song...

Ok, i bought it.

Just my duty of fan... :angel_not:

it was very difficult to buy a song with a cover image that ugly and  vulgar   :sneaky2:

Amazon.it admits to buy just the single...

i would never have bought the whole album... no way  :punk:

P.S.

Are these grey balls on the cover an intestine ? Horrible, horrible graphics!

well, I can make it worth it all

I hear "one night can make it worth it all", could it be? I know, I'm such a pain when it comes to lyrics... please bear with me.

And yes, the refrain is a bit repetitive, but that's something we can find in some songs of Mika's too. What bothers me is that I can't really get the sense of the song and the connection between Fedez's and Mika's parts. They sound like two different songs put together without a theme.

I'm hearing "My life I'd give away for this" and "One night can make it worth it all"

And I'm starting to hear "I get this feeling I can't risk" but I'm not very sure about that one...

I love this song, did not expect that! :teehee:

I'm hoping they'll perform it on X Factor :)

I'll have to look up at lot of words in the dictionary plus I'm no native so I can't really judge lyric-wise (yet), but for now it seems like it's not 2 persons singing to each other for me but it being from the perspective of one person.

I couldnt listen to whole song, just from Itunes. With the beats it is a catchy song, and even though I only listened once, I kept singing Mika's part after listening. But I think, it doesnt seem to me like his style, it is too different and I cant say that Fedez's and Mika's parts fit each other perfectly. I dont know maybe I'll change my mind when I listen to whole song.

And yes, I agree, it reminded me a little bit Celebrate, too.
