Maybe it's only the "sound track" or a porn actor also called Mika

That's what I thought, but it's really in the middle of all of Mika's news and after a real movie where he played. :dunno:

It's okay, but this is a magazine article, not a random search.

I just checked for the other singers in the same article and their filmography is absolutely accurate! :tears:

There is one possibility: in 2009 there was an actor of X with the same name.
Some fans brought the news to Mika and arrangements were made.

WTF is this?!! :shocked::lmfao:

I think they’ve cross-switched him with someone else. I just looked him up on IMDB (because of this) and these aren’t listed. It does list him as an actor in 8 films (most concert videos, plus two for Helping Haiti, something called Obsessive Rhythms where he plays a pianist, and Zoolander 2.) He’s on the soundtrack of 60 films. Maybe he’s on the soundtrack of these?

As promised, here is a translation:

Florent Pagny, Zazie, Mika and Pascal Obispo, the coaches of « The Voice », will still be so nutty this year ?

THE NEW WAY OF THE VOICE

Apart the arriving of Pascal Obispo to replace M.Pokora, a few modifications are inserted in this season 7, which will start this Saturday night. Will they be enough to straighten up the audience ?

« We wanted to renew the history. To relate it differently », said Matthieu Grelier, Itv Studios France programmes director, during the presentation of the seventh season of « The Voice »to the press . For this new edition, which will start this Saturday night on TF1, The TV talent show changes indeed a few rules. Goal : straighten up the decrease of the audience seen last year.

If the unmissable blind auditions stay, the « battles » and « the ultimate trial » are given up.

During the second phase of the competition from now on renamed « the final audition », the 72 selected talents will come back on stage, on line, to convince the four coaches then returned.

Finally, the 32 last selected candidates will fight during the « duels ». Not a revolutionnary change for this step, it's a question of restyled and gallicized battles.

Upsets very relatives which can be explained by the very precise and restrictive specifications of the Dutch format.

The Florent Pagny'last one

But it was necessary to review this method. For, once the blind auditions ended, the programme, always presented with spirit and talent by Nikos Aliagas, loses some viewers. The last season, about 5,4 millions of curious people were counted for the battles (28,7% of the audience), and 4,9 millions for the episodes of the ultimate trial (22,3% of audience shares).

For 6,7 millions of viewers for the blind auditions (32,5% of audience shares).

But the well-oiled mechanical of the competition stays intact. This year, make way to a new coach : Pascal Obispo. If during the first recordings, the new coach, the substitute of M.Pokora, was shy beside his three friends, Florent Pagny, Mika and Zazie well used to the exercise, the singer-songwriter quickly relaxed.

Thus, he doesn't hesitate to climb on his chair or join a talent on stage to improvise a duet. He shed a few tears when one of his hit was interpretated. The « Obispo show » pushed a lot of candidates to join his team, to the detriment of historical coaches, which are become a little bit predictable.

Anyway, Florent Pagny, present since the first season, has already announced that the seventh season will be his last. « I think that it's ok, I explored all possibilities, I'm happy », he said recently to our colleagues of Télé star. « I have also other things to do » added one who brought Stéphan Rizon to victory (saison 1) and Slimane (season 5).

For the emotion, the four coaches will sing a Michel Berger's song, Quelque chose de Tennessee, to pay tribute to Johnny Hallyday, deceased on December 6th. Thrills again when Life on Mars of David Bowie will be revisited during the first evening by a deep voice candidate.

Already revealed in the trailer, she could seduce the four coaches who then will fight for her to get her back in their team. Changes, did you say changes ?

Enjoy! :wink2:

T’as cassé combien de fauteuils ?»

Fabrice lâche : «T’as la gagante !»

Tu as amené de l’humour». «On s’est énormément amusés, confirme Obispo. J’ai kiffé. On a ri, on a pleuré, on a dansé.

We watched "The Voice" with Pascal Obispo, the new juror

He joined this season Florent Pagny, Mika and Zazie in the ranks of the jury of the Telecrochet of TF1.

Pascal Obispo invited us on Saturday evening to watch with him and his family the broadcast of the first show of the seventh season of "The Voice".

"Look ! Let's go! "It is 9:05 pm and the seventh season of" The Voice "begins. Excited as a kid, Pascal Obispo calls his wife Julie and his friends in front of the television. TF1's new tele-hook juror discovers his first appearance on Saturday at his friend Fabrice Laffont's Paris studio. "Turn up the sound!" The show starts with a close-up of him, in black and white, on the piano. He interprets "Singing", joined by the one for whom he composed the song, Florent Pagny, then Zazie and Mika. "It's very well filmed, it's elegant," he reacts. "It's good, this version," adds his old friend Dodo, deputy general manager of the Mercury label.

"When I sat down, what was I freaking out?"

First candidate, the tension is rising. Solia arrives with an energizing version of Katy Perry's "Bon appétit". On the screen, we see Pascal Obispo ask "What to do?" Sitting in the chair next door, Mika slips: "We must listen." "When I sat down, what was I freaking out, says the new juror. I, who no longer has the jitters on stage, there, I had a carabinee. It's not natural for me to talk on TV and give a concise opinion about talent. And the other three jurors are strong, very strong. Three great pros ... who have experience in the show. They were crazy, of course, but they were really terribly friendly and kind to me. "

Pascal Obispo is the first to turn around for Solia. On the set, the juror gets up, starts to dance, gets on his chair. "For a guy not comfortable, say, you're doing the show, the room his friend Fabrice. You broke how many armchairs? "To laugh, Obispo decked his accomplices with nicknames:" André Breton "for his friend Zazie," for his sometimes surrealist comments "," Father Fouras in snakeskin "for Florent Pagny and "Peter Pan" for Mika, "because he is very intelligent and his remarks make travel". "What the show is well mounted, he applauds, as he discovers the images and candidates who were selected after the five days of blind auditions recorded in November. Our reactions, our exchanges, they choose the good things. But the show really started like this. "

"I'm doing these tricks!"

Second candidate, Ecco, 16, carries us with "Life On Mars" by David Bowie, alone at the piano. Focus on the new coach. "I'm doing these trunks!" Smiled Obispo. "There you smile, but I see that you are very moved," remarks his wife. The four coaches look back on the Ecco performance. At Fabrice, everyone thinks she will choose Mika or Zazie, despite the great game of Pascal. When Ecco chooses the latter, sounds a huge "Yeah!" In the living room. Fabrice coward: "You have the wager!" Dodo in professional remarks that she buzze already on the social networks. "You have not seen anything yet," their friend announced.

Arises a Colombian totally uninhibited. Drea Dury will make the jurors dance with Rihanna's "Rude Boy". "The band is excellent" says Pascal Obispo as a musician. After many jokes and battles between the jurors, it is Mika who managed to attract the Colombian candidate to his team. "There, I'm angry, look." For Edouard Edouard, he presses the buzzer with his buttocks. "This is the first time that one buzze of the ass". His cell phone lights up constantly on the coffee table. "I feel like I'm celebrating the new year," he smiled. Here, a text message from my mother: "You are dispelled." It is surprising that he did not turn on some candidates. "There are 140 and you can only choose 18," he says. You have to be patient."

Pascal Obispo in tears for the reprise of "Lucie"

His friends take advantage of a pub break to get some fresh air. He stays in the sofa, focused. "Come back! This is a horrible moment, "he announces. Appear on the show Rebecca and his mother, two big fans of him. Rebecca, 19, will sing "Lucie" for her mother hoping to "have an appointment with Pascal Obispo". All expect a disaster. "It's crazy she sings for you, she only looks at you," says Julie. On the screen, her husband is in tears, head down, upset by this tribute. The four jurors turn around but Rebecca's choice is obvious. Florent brews his arms. Obispo is dead laughing. "He must stay next year, Florent (note: he announced that it would be his last season). He convinced me to join him. It's my turn to convince him. "Zazie is doing the show, getting on her friend's lap, stinging her glasses. But nothing works. Unsurprisingly, it's his idol that the girl chooses. "It still moves me today," says Obispo.

Goulaan, the UFO of New Caledonia, will also move him to tears. "This man is unbelievable, he is so kind!" Says Pascal Obispo, still touched. He is also very touched when he sees again the passage with the father and his son, who are eliminated but that Zazie catches up and highlights. "In these moments of surprise and emotion, The Voice is the best French show," exclaims Fabrice. "It's beautiful huh!" Smiled his friend. "And that's a serious room," says Fabrice. We see that you get along very well. "" I've never laughed so much while watching The Voice, "adds Louise, her companion, a TV-hook fan. You brought humor. "We had a lot of fun," Obispo confirms. I liked. We laughed, we cried, we danced. We went through all the emotions. There is even an incredible moment when we all cry ... Do not worry, there is still a lot to come. In fact, The Voice should be called The Emotion. "

Spoiler

With Pascal we like to fight
Mika is a judge in The Voice for the fifth time. He tells about about the TV show and about the newbie in the group, Pascal Obispo.

Interviewer:  You've already sat in The Voice chair five times. Aren't you getting tired of it?
Mika: No because I'm having fun. In The Voice France, the show is less standardized than in the other country they really let us free to be ourselves. If one day it wasn't the case anymore , I would stop.

Interviewer: What do you think about the arrival of Pascal Obispo as a coach?
Mika: His personality is complex, but in a good sense. He reacts instinctively and he knows very well what a singer job is. It's a lot of fun to work with him. We love to argue in front of the camera. But it's never mean.

Interviewer:  So you got on well very fast?

Mika: Yes, but when he makes me mad, I tell him and when he disagrees with me he lets me know.

Interviewer: What can he bring to the program?
Mika: Many things and above all his French pop touch. He embodies a package that will certainly attract the talents.

Interviewer:  Do you follow the career of your former talents, Kendji Girac, Archadian, Fréro Delavega?
Mika: Yes. I see they fill in big venues and that's crazy. That's the strenght of the French version of this program. In England not even one candidate ever had a successful career after participating in this program.

Interviewer: What are the differences between France, the United States and Great Britain?
Mika: In the United States it's only based on TV, in Great Britain it's only based on pop music. The candidates are too similar. It does work for a few minutes but it doesn't last. In France, the candidates the candidates are close to people who watch the show on TV. and they all have different personalities and styles.

Interviewer: If you are offered to come back next year will you say yes?
Mika: I don't know. Each year I never think ahead about the next year...

Interviewer: As a conclusion let's talk about music. How far are you in the making of your new album?
Mika: I'm writing it now and all I can tell you is that my wish is to release it this year.
