Spoiler

The adventure continues for Queen Clairie in The Voice on TF1. The 28-year-old from Nantes, who chose Pascal Obispo on February 3, was dropped by her coach last night, who preferred the Jats. At the end of the suspense, Queen Clairie managed to convince a Mikka and Zazie, who buzzed to hold her. Queen Clairie has finally chosen to join Mika, who will prepare her for the battles, the last stage before the live. She tells us about her evening.

"Pascal Obispo takes the Jat and we stay on stage and all of a sudden Zazie buzz and I'm incredibly surprised especially that I don't know who it is for, if it was for Melody or for me. And then after Mika buzz, so I think it's fantastic, Melody and I will stay, it's so cool. And then they both say Queen Clairie! There I was taken by an emotion, a little overwhelmed by saying but what is happening and incredibly touched. It was very hard to choose who to take. It's true that I chose Mika, because we meet people here, we meet at the hotel, it's very nice everyone becomes close and we all become friends. And so I made friends, the Jats, whom I really liked and I made a friend as Petit Green that I really like as a guy and I really like what he does and I especially didn't want to have the potential to be in beats with him and so I chose Mika".

Now based in London, where she is a vocal coach, she spends most of her time in the studio composing music for commercials.

But Claire de Belloy spent all her youth in Nantes. She was educated at La Perverie and then at Guist'hau high school. She has always been immersed in music thanks to her father, a musical composer, and her mother who created a musical school.

When she first appeared on stage at the age of 11 in a show written by her father, the young girl had a revelation: she too wanted to make music.
Her parents made it a point of honour for her to succeed in her studies, so she waited until she graduated to devote herself fully to her passion.

Queen Clairy is not the first Nantes candidate for The Voice. Before her, there was Mood in season 5 and Laura Chab' in season 2 in 2013.

Euh... it was not necessary this comment thanks!

I find it a bit long as well but the trainings are interesting on the contrary!

" On sent quand même qu'on a passé les auditions à l'aveugle. Le niveau est vraiment excellent. Les chanteurs ont tous leur touche. Ca promet toujours pour la suite."

Apparently we have not the same feeling at all, I heard many wrong notes and I find it unacceptable in this level...

I must confess that my preference was for Luca because he is the only one who is not professional.
And I loved his strength of character which made him insist several times even if he felt it was lost! :wub2:

The press this year is quite scathing; the sign of a weariness of this kind of show?

Ok.

Spoiler

We recall the principle: 3 talents of the same team play on a song they choose. Then the coach chooses who stays. And if another coach wants one of the losers back, he can.

I'll say it right now: Luca Sellier's shadow hangs over this show. I did not mourn the insolence and unconsciousness he put into revisiting my beloved standards. So every time an average candidate was saved, I weighed inwardly for Luca, who had not had that chance while he was so much above. Impossible to forget, him for whom a well caught little loser sounded like a cleaver. But the worst, surely, was Zazie's sentence, the one who had not chosen him: "We expect the unexpected in this show". Ah? Really? So Luca Sellier wasn't unexpected enough? But you're going to say, "grieve, it's okay, and move on. Okay. Let's judge on the evening show.
Where was the unexpected tonight?

I asked myself that question throughout the show. I was like anesthetized. Sleeping by length and boredom. I don't even want to make the list of candidates who have made in the expected. There would be too many. And then I already forgot them. But unfortunately, the show will remind us at least those who have been selected. Well, yes, just because Zazie says that at The Voice, it's the unexpected that we're looking for, that's not what we're selecting, obviously.

The problem often comes from the choice of songs, as always. I know it's supposedly the talents who choose, but I doubt it very much. Billy who would choose "Fly Me"? It's the suicide song." I'm sick", sung by Zine Yalla, is a bit the same thing. He makes a correct thing of it, but finally this song is terrible to cover, and everyone already associates it with a memory too anchored to dislodge it (you believe me if I tell you that I keep the memory of Thierry Amiel, New Star n°1, on this song?). Liv Del Estal will be chosen thanks to Raphaël and his "150 years", without taking the time to really articulate on a magnificent song. Well, in front of her, there was Chloe singing Vianney. How do you show what you're worth on Vianney? Yes, maybe by doing something completely different from the original, by doing something good with it. That was not the case there. And then Lého with " Laisse tomber les filles "... Hard to erase France Gall in terms of interpretation, no? Anyway, the songs weren't easy.
Not too original, please.

But the worst problem is that candidates are asked, less openly, but by force of circumstance, to erase their entire identity. I jumped off my couch when Mika said, "Jazz has no place on this show. He said it in the sense that "it's never worked, it's a pain in the ass to do it, nobody votes for it". Of course he's right. But what is the message? Isn't it to prevent a bit the talents that we must be careful not to do too much in the original, if they want to advance and win?

Gulaan, who comes from New Caledonia and had sung a traditional kanak song in a blind audition, goes to Cabrel. I'm glad he was kept by Zazie, really. But why erase so, by his choice of song, his culture? Why try to stick to standards, if it's the unexpected we're looking for? And whether we like their voices or not, it was the same for Casanova, the Corsican who sang Ed Sheeran. Or Norig, who chose Alanis Morissette to show that she could do "something other than gypsy". But why should we show it? What's wrong with staying in your register, if your register is the one you chose? If it matches who we are?

The same thing was felt in the stage coaching. You shouldn't have too much fun, not too much dancing, not jumping because it sounds too pop, choosing between French song or rap, not hesitating, not mixing, being CLEAR. Let's calibrate, let's smooth, let's not let anything stick out, for fear of making the listener/viewer flee. But the listener is great, the listener has the right to decide alone what he likes. The listener has the right to hear and see other proposals, however wobbly and screwed up they may be.
The few sparks

What finally emerges from the show is that the rare moments that kept me awake are those when the talents sang songs in accordance with their universe, without calculating too much. There was Gabriel and his "Raise Me Up", made for him. I'm not sensitive to the style of this song, but it doesn't really matter, because the guy sent what he wanted and he did it very well. There was Laura and "California Love" from 2Pac. Same thing, her voice isn't my s**t, but she sang a song she liked. There was Ubare on Nat King Cole in piano voice with Nature Boy. Good choice of song, nice performance. And then Alhan with her cover of Barbara, not enough to the taste of the judges, but devilishly full of emotions. I could almost have loved Ecco Ecco and his "Voyage voyage". But in piano voice on this track, impossible to reach the toe of the great Soap&Skin, which with Desireless will hold forever the top of the paving stone on this track.

In the absence of a big chill, Xam Hurricane will still be named the best candidate on the show." Le cinéma" by Claude Nougaro. He was told not to jump over the camera during his performance. It's an author he sings, not a pop singer, he said, Pascal the coach. That's funny, because we dressed him up in 100% glitter. Logical, when you hold us... But clothes, we don't really care when we have a Xam in front of us. An inhabited guy. A guy who LIVES the song. A guy who owns the stage, the space. A guy who doesn't take you by the hand to make you understand his song but who throws it at you the way he feels it and too bad if you don't like it. An artist, actually. And it ####ing feels good to see it on this show.

Spoiler

"The Voice" continues its selection with a new evening of final auditions and musical discoveries.

The Voice continues its pruning of candidates with the terrible final auditions. We remind you of the rather cruel principle: three candidates chosen in advance by one of the coaches face each other. Their mentor should only choose one. But one of the other three coaches may decide to save one. Let's go! Let's go!

The evening begins with Pascal Obispo's team. Ecco, 16 years old singer, covers Voyage, voyage de Desireless. Yvette wants to convince with the song Le coup de soleil by Richard Cocciante. As for Billy Boguard, it's on Jean-Jacques Goldman's Envole-moi that he tries his luck. Three not simple choices. Lucie's interpreter decides to keep Ecco anyway. Zazie does not want to deprive herself of a "candy" and saves Yvette.

Three candidates from coach Florent Pagny then presented themselves. Gabriel tries a cover of You Raise Me Up by Josh Groban, Abel Marta by Tu Vuo Fa l'Americano by Renato Carosone, and Abdel by Si t'étais là by Louane." We're in the top tier." Zazie rejoices. The only possible choice for Florent, however, who salutes Gabriel's performance. Surprise: the three other coaches buzz to get Abel Marta who decides to join Pascal Obispo.

Mika's first team finally shows up. The eccentric Ubaré throws himself into the bath by taking back Nature Boy, Nat King Cole's standard. Laura stays in rap with Tupac's California Love and Dr. Lloyd. Dre. Drea Dury chose Justin Timberlake's Senorita. Mika is confused by Ubaré's performance." Ubaré, jazz has no place in this competition. For you, you managed to make a moving performance. I had an idea, and it was taken apart." So Mika will continue with the 29-year-old Korean singer.

Zazie in turn presents us with a first round of candidates. Norig covers Uninvited by Alanis Morissette, Casanova Perfect by Ed Sheeran and Gulaan Tout le monde y pense by Francis Cabrel. The interpreter of J'envoie valser is a bit lost in front of the three high-flying performances she has just attended. She nevertheless made the choice to keep Gulaan. General surprise: Florent Pagny saves Norig while Mika does the same with Casanova!" It's not over for you!" he says to her.

Pascal Obispo's protégés return. Zine Yaala launches out on I am sick of Serge Lama. Eric Jetner defends himself with Sam Smith's title, Writing's On the Wall. Xam Hurricane, 23, pays tribute to Claude Nougaro with his title Le cinéma. Obispo is impressed by the performances. "Three different intensities. It was top-notch." However, there must be only one left and it will be Xam.

Team Zazie's turn to inhabit the stage. Leho tries a cover of Laisse tomber les filles de France Gall. Liv Del Estal bets on Raphael's Dans 150 ans, and Vianney's Chloé sur Moi Aimer Toi. Zazie is very impressed with Liv." You learn fast! During rehearsal, Liv, it wasn't reassuring. But that was perfect." She logically keeps the 21-year-old Parisian in her team.

The next team presents itself under the Florent Pagny banner. Yasmine covers Lionel Richie's Hello, Youssou N'Dour's Meryem 7 seconds and Thana-Marie, despite a voice extinction, does what she can on Celine Dion's Vole. And it is Yasmine who wins the vote and remains at the side of the interpreter of Savoir Aimer. He gives her a nice compliment: "One of them has a little more and she can't give a little less. ».

The last team to show up tonight will be Mika's. Capucine, 18 years old, takes risks by taking over Et pourtant de Charles Aznavour. Alhan's following her with Dis, when are you coming back? of Barbara. And Lilya's dancing with Jackson Five's I Want You Back. Pascal Obispo is under the spell of the young singer of Polish origin." For me, it's Capucine. She sings wonderfully well." Florent Pagny joins him." We all agree we'd save Capucine for voice and performance." Mika, not surprisingly, agrees with her two colleagues." I will encourage Capucine's courage." A good thing done.

That's it, the second night of the final auditions ends under the applause of the spectators who once again spent a magical evening.

Thank you @Loo! Yes I thought the same when he spoke about jazz music, but he was right, this a formated TV show so the jazz...

And I agree with the article when Mika said to make a choice between pop and rap, why not both?

And about the choice of the songs, yes for sure, the contestants don't chose their songs...

And this the beginning of the end... All the originality we can see in the blind auditions disappears little by little....

I'm so disappointed with this game show that I didn't watch yesterday.
If I want to see a variety show I watch one and not one that normally discovers talent. There almost everything is played in advance with people who have been singing for years and who already make records and concerts!

So that' s why my favorite was Luca, by far!

Ça m’a vraiment touché. A moi d’assurer. »

Spoiler

The miracle of "The Voice"

TF 1, 21 HOURS Eliminated in the duels, Casanova was finally drafted for the first night of the direct, tonight. We followed his rehearsals.

"I do not have a lucky charm. But I have a cross that I never leave and that I kiss every night. Maybe it played! Loose Casanova, just minutes from rehearsals, Friday afternoon. Before you change your mind "I hope it's not going to be controversial," he worries suddenly. We have the right to say that? "

For nothing in the world, this model candidate would want to spoil the party.

And for good reason: his presence on the direct "The Voice" is a small miracle. In 2016, he fails for the first time in blind auditions by resuming "the Port of Amsterdam" without being really prepared. A step that he passes hands down this season before Zazie, his coach, eliminates it just before the duels. New disappointment.

His place, he owes in part to Mika, who retires at the very last moment. But the next step is won by Mennel. End of the "dream". Well almost. "For me, I had a good performance, remembers Casanova. I left without regret, proud of me, of my course. The following days, he resumed his singing and drama classes at Music Academy International in Nancy (Meurthe-et-Moselle), where Lilian Renaud, winner of the fourth edition of "The Voice", was released. A life far from his family cocoon and his family.

"I wanted to stay in Corsica, says the young musician cradled child by With or Without You, U2. But for the rest of my career, I had to leave. Music is my life. »End his period when he had three jobs: firefighter, paramedic and security officer. To him also the preparation of a personal album focused "folk and songs with texts, with passages in Corsica".

And then comes the Mennel affair. The day after her blind audition broadcast on February 3, the young 22-year-old singer is confronted with a controversy about old writings on social networks dating from 2016. Here she pushed to the exit. A decision that it formalizes five days later. "It was very hard for her, while he is a lovely person," says Casanova, while avoiding to speak on the merits. It hurt me. I do not know how I would have reacted in his place. "

Then everything goes very fast. "I received a call from Pascal Guix, artistic producer, to tell me that my last performance would not be broadcast," says the 24-year-old artist. And then he passed me Mika to announce my return to the contest. It was destiny. "

THREE CHANCES

That day, the coach of "The Voice" trusts him. "He told me: When I was 13 years old, I was part of a choir. One day, the leader did not come. I was asked to replace him. I learned all the words. And the leader never came back. Now, this chance presents itself to you. It really touched me. Mennel also had a discussion with his replacement. "She was happy for me," says Casanova. To me to assure. "

Tonight, he will play "When You Were Young" Adele, a title proposed by Mika. "Some will say that I am not legitimate compared to others, that I am in a position of weakness, anticipates Casanova. I do not care. I'm there, I'm good. It is now his turn to enter the stage, surrounded by a choir. A little nod to the past of his coach? He slips his ultimate advice: "Mouse", "squeeze less mouth," open your throat, "go, fight, what! Casanova drinks his words. He is well aware of the stakes: "I had three chances. It's incredible. But I will not have a fourth. "

RECAP - The Voice 7 (TF1) : Quatre nouveaux talents éliminés !

22/04/2018 - 00h01

"Tu as énormément de potentiel", estime Mika.

Casanova reprend l'un des tubes d'Adèle, "When we were young". Frédéric Longbois chante "I am what I am" de Gloria Gaynor, "ce soir on n'a pas fait de cinéma dans notre tête, on était dans la maison de Frédéric Longbois et tout est possible", estime Mika.

Edouard Edouard continues with a French version of "Lady Marmelade", still in Zazie's team. "It's pure fun, even mistakes become funny," Mika says. Zazie's talents follow one another, with Liv Del Estal playing "Michelle, ma belle" from The Beatles. "A form of humility in her interpretation, she loves music deeply" for Pascal Obispo.

Frédéric Longbois sings Gloria Gaynor's "I am what I am", "tonight we didn't make a movie in our head, we were in Frédéric Longbois' house and everything is possible", Mika says. Finally, Guillaume, final candidate of the evening interpreter "No surprises" of Radiohead. Casanova and Frédéric Longbois are retained by the audience, Mika decides to keep Guillaume.

The Voice, on the way for a season 8!

The season 7 of The Voice (TF1) will end on May 12 (see pages 24-25) with distinguished guests on the set. Already announced, Mylène Farmer and Maître Gims. Sting and Shaggy should, according to our information, also be part of it. An end of season that TF1 and ITV Studios France hope to conclude in apotheosis. In fact, for the last few weeks, Télé-crochet has been suffering from an erosion of its audiences in the face of the fiction of France 3. But the future of The Voice is not compromised. The casting of season 8 is already open. Audition shooting blind at the end of the year, for broadcast in 2019. Remains an unknown: who will compose the jury next year? As tradition dictates, a few weeks after the end of this edition, the production will ask Zazie, Mika and Pascal Obispo if they want to get back for another season. But the question will not arise for Florent Pagny, because the one who is the only historical coach still present has already announced his departure. Bets are open to know who will replace ...

A chaque direct...

"Merci à tous, ça me fait super plaisir.

21h42. Nouveau choc de la soirée made in Pascal Obispo.

Tu as un certain regard, tu danses.

Le talent interprète à sa manier "The Show Must Go On" de Queen. Bravo, tu as bien fait", commente Zazie.

Team Florent Pagny :Raffi Arto

Team Zazie : Maëlle

Team Mika :Casanova (volé à Zazie)

Team Pascal Obispo :Xam Hurricane

Spoiler

Tonight, TF1 proposes the semi-finals of its singing contest produced by ITV Studios France.

At the gates of the final! Tonight, the last eight talents of season 7 of "The Voice" will compete on TF1 to win a ticket for the ultimate bonus next week. In the running this Saturday: Raffi Arto and Yasmine Ammari from Florent Pagny's team, B. Demi-Mondaine and Maëlle from Zazie's team, Frédéric Longbois and Casanova from Mika's team, and Ecco and Xam Hurricane from Pascal Obispo's team. For these semi-finals, the four coaches will no longer have the power to save a candidate. Only the public vote will count. As every week, puremedias.com offers you a live summary of the show produced by ITV Studios France and presented by Nikos Aliagas.

21h06. Let's go for the semi-final of "The Voice" 2018! The evening opens with Florent Pagny's team! To launch this penultimate evening, Raffi Arto covers "J'irai où tu iras" by Jean-Jacques Goldman and Celine Dion. Finally a song that is not a rock from the 60s and 70s. "He's more and more here. He's getting better at it. To each live... His rehearsals, he's always a little shy. And as soon as there's the audience, he's in his element. He's comfortable. It's nice to see what he's doing. Start the show and make the fire right away, bravo", Pagny starts. "Before he sang, I asked Pagny his age, 16! You've evolved a lot, I think that's just the beginning," Mika continues.
21h17. Florent Pagny's other semifinalist, Yasmine Ammari! The Algerian singer performs "Historia De Un Amor" by Luz Casal, a track mixing Arabic and Spanish. "She bewitched the set," says Nikos Aliagas. "She has the ability to switch from one voice to the other, each time she does the mixes. It allows her not to be in the demonstration, she will seek depth. It's even stronger," congratulates Pagny. "We're charmed every time. What a singer, incredible. She makes you want to write songs. She has an incredible palette. It's normal that she's here!"Obispo follows.

21h26. Now, Florent Pagny's two candidates propose a duet song. Raffi Arto and Yasmine Ammari sing Ofenbach vs. Nick Waterhouse.

21h39. The votes are closed. The audience has chosen the first finalist of the evening. Raffi Arto is qualified for the final bonus of "The Voice" next week. "Thank you all, it makes me so happy. I wanted to say hello to a princess fighting leukaemia," says the finalist. "I would like to thank The Voice for allowing me this wonderful experience. Thanks to the coaches. Thank you to the French who voted for me. I don't regret anything," adds Yasmine Ammari.

21h42. New shock of the evening made in Pascal Obispo. Ecco appears on stage tonight on "The Voice" to cover "Rolling In The Deep" by Adele. "It's a small final. She just showed something new. She's made further progress. She broke the frame. I wasn't expecting this," Obispo concedes. "It's Adele singing this song. To sing this song, you need exceptional talent. You didn't let the sand move you," follows Zazie.

21h49. We go straight to Xam Hurricane. The young talent of Pascal Obispo's team wants to impress his coach and viewers with "Et maintenant" by Gilbert Bécaud. "He sings it like that thinking it's over. Whatever happened, he wanted to thank with something that was him. It's Xam. He wanted to be him," Obispo explains. "With that, I don't think he's gonna leave! It's so thoughtful. You know what you're doing. You're not stupid! You have a certain look, you dance. It starts well built and well thought out, then you leave the place to madness. It gets interesting, you go crazy and we don't know what you're going to do," adds Mika. "He goes beyond interpretations. He embodies the songs," says Pagny.

21h58. The two talents will measure themselves by taking up a success of Pascal Obispo, "Mourir demain". A very nice duo!

22h12. The public voted! "Ecco or Xam? There will only be one finalist in Pascal's team and his name is Xam Hurricane", announces Nikos Aliagas.

22h14. No comments from coaches or talents. Zazie's team, with the tornado B. Demi-Mondaine as first candidate. The talent interprets Queen's "The Show Must Go On". "It's extremely complicated to sing. There's heavy, dense, all around. Yesterday, she wanted to change the song in panic, because it's a monument. Thanks to her technical coach, she manages during the'The Voice' experience to have a higher voice. She dares to do it! Bravo, you did well," says Zazie. "Always the same adventure with Demi-Mondaine, she brings a monument into her world. You're really too strong," Pagny says.

22h24. Facing her, Maëlle tried her luck by taking back the title of France Gall and covered by Johnny Hallyday, "Diego". "She insisted on this song. It's a song about injustice, about an artist's luck to be in the light. It's his choice. At 17 years the age of carelessness, to choose this is to understand with humility, the role of an artist. We can sing it. We can sing for everyone," Zazie says. "I think there's a really special kind of thing, an unconsciousness. In your house, it's not calculated. It was very hard for you. With control of your voice. There was always that light and that risk-taking that you find in talents your age. You take risks, that's what makes careers," follows Mika.

22h34. B. Demi-Mondaine and Maëlle now appear on the stage of TF1's singing show with Nina Simone's song "I Put A Spell On You".

22h44. Back from the publicity and before the announcement of the results, Pascal Obispo interprets "Chante la rue, chante", his original title, exclusively for "The Voice". "We continue the competition! Zazie, are you ready? Here are two young women competing for a spot in the final. The public has made their choice. The talent qualified for the final is Miss Maëlle. She leaves no one indifferent," says Nikos Aliagas, who announces that B. Demi-Mondaine joins a musical comedy troupe about couturier Jean-Paul Gaultier. "This woman who represents a lot..." I'm extremely proud of both of you. It's complicated for all coaches... for all talents," Zazie is wrong. "They gave us an exceptional show. And we're going to greet the musicians my friends," Obispo continues.

22h54. Last team of the evening, Mika's! It all starts with the troublemaker Frédéric Longbois! The singer decides to sing Luciano Pavarotti's opera title, "Nessun Dorma", in a French version. "It was a very bold and risky choice. But that said, when he gets on stage, we start to forget the origins of Frédéric Longbois' story. There is an intention. He wanted to sing all his life. He's 54 years old. Every week he has surprised us in one way or another, it's rare," says Mika. "In the end, it always slams and he slams it," adds Pagny.

23h03. The last talent of the evening takes place. Casanova faces Frédéric Longbois with the title "Kid" by Eddy de Pretto. "It's a crazy thing. I got goose bumps! Once in a while, I can be a little stupid. With Casanova, I think I'll be fine. Every time you go up on stage, you can't be banal. Well, you weren't ordinary," Mika says. "There are so many colors in your house. There's nothing wrong with you. There's the fireman and there's this great song. She still says something less smooth. Congratulations to you, little dancer," says Zazie.

23h11. The ultimate duet of the evening between Casanova and Frédéric Longbois is realized on the track "La Carioca" ! A very original tandem! "That wasn't your ledger," Pagny loves. "We were in a humor. We almost forgot the competition!"Nikos Aliagas follows.

23h23. We go to "The Voice, la suite", without the last result. And... still nothing. The program launches a tape recorder on Louane, followed by a performance by the program's former candidate. The outcome of the vote is still pending...

23h29. ENFIN ! We're gonna get the results of the last duel of this semifinal. "It was the public that decided. It was very tight. I never know the result until I find it in the envelope. For this semi-final, you nominated Casanova as Mika's finalist," said Nikos Aliagas, to everyone's surprise.

Debrief of the fifteenth evening of season 7 of "The Voice" :

The voting format is a bit heavy in the program. Since the teams are eliminated as they go along, the channel repeats many times the performances of the talents... Sometimes to excess! It draws a little in the long run... Even if it is obvious that it is to encourage the viewer to vote.
A very good Xam Hurricane tonight. Very good idea his cover, in his own way, of Gilbert Bécaud's title, "Et maintenant". And what a duet with Ecco on the song "Mourir demain". His qualification for the final was no surprise at all.
Very nice the cover of "La Carioca" by Frédéric Longbois and Casanova, from Mika's team. As much as we were used to the madness of the first, so much the second surprised by his derision. A sequence that leaves a smile on your face.
On the other hand, why was the last candidate selected for the final given so late in "The Voice, the sequel"? We got a report on Louane, before we got the name of Mika's latest talent. A way to inflate the after-party audiences? Anyway, it makes the show longer for nothing.
Big surprise with the qualification of Casanova. His journey is atypical! Not retained during a previous season, he seduced Zazie during the blind auditions. Evicted by the latter, he was rescued by Mika. He fails Mennel in the duels. After the polemic of the latter, he went on to win bonuses and qualified for the final.

The finalists :

Team Florent Pagny :Raffi Arto

Team Zazie : Maëlle

Team Mika :Casanova (stolen from Zazie)

Team Pascal Obispo :Xam Hurricane

Child star: do you recognize this singer?

"She tells him to do The Voice"

Mika, whose real name is Michael Holbrook Penniman, Junior, born August 18, 1983, is a British-Lebanese pop singer and songwriter. He is under contract with record companies Casablanca Records and Universal Music.

His first album Life in Cartoon Motion is certified diamond disc in France with more than 1 400 000 copies sold and is, in France, the best-selling album in 2007. Worldwide, more than 19.85 million were sold. His second album, The Boy Who Knew Too Much, sold nearly 400,000 copies in France. This album allowed him to receive the triple platinum disc at a concert in Bercy. In July 2011, he released the single Elle me dit, sung in French, a first for him.

In September 2012, he made his comeback with a third album entitled The Origin of Love, an album of which he sang some songs during his festival tours in 2011 and 2012. At the beginning of October 2012, the album was certified platinum in France.

In June 2015, No Place in Heaven, his fourth album, is released, with four tracks in French. This album is said to be more intimist because Mika was on all sides to create it. In January 2016, he is certified platinum disc in France, and platinum disc in Italy in August.

Mika joins the jury of The Voice for the third French season broadcast in early 2014, where he replaces Louis Bertignac.
