Hi/Bonjour! My name is Andrea, I'm 14 years old and I'm from Montreal, Canada. I first heard of Mika when I was younger; I heard Relax on the radio and I thought he was a disco singer. Kind of funny story because I don't really like disco music! Growing up, at 11 years old, Elle me dit came out and that song was ALWAYS on the radio. ALWAYS. Not complaining at all, because that's when I fell in love with Mika... For the first time! One day, I decided to buy Life In A Cartoon Motion which was probably the best decision of my life; my mom and I loved to listen to Mika together and I feel like listening to his album was a way for her and I to be even more close. At 12 years old, I had to do an oral presentation in french class on a french song... I don't listen to french singers so I decided to choose Elle me dit. I had to watch interviews of Mika and listen to that song on repeat trying to know what this song is about. At that moment, I learned a lot about Mika himself and I realized how amazing he is not only as an artist, but also as a person. A few days after my oral presentation, I had a REALLY bad day. What I do on a bad day? I go on youtube, trying to change my mind. After watching so many videos of Mika, We are golden was in my youtube suggestion. I decided to watch it and OH MY GOD. What was that? I was seeing myself in that video, I was seeing my new favorite singer. This video made me feel so much better. Now, whenever I have a bad day, I remember how worth I am. We are golden guys and we're worth it; that's something Mika learned me! I've heard of the Fanclub I don't really remember by who, but it was on twitter. Thanks to that person that tweeted the fanclub! Because of you, I joined this amazing community! I know this introduction is a little bit long but yeah, I fell in love with Mika too many times in my life! Thank you for welcoming me!
