Hello from Belfast!! My name is Emily and I am a MASSIVE Mika fan who hails from Northern Ireland. I have been a Mika fan for so long that I can't even remember when I became one! 🙈 I do remember sitting on my kitchen counter listening to Life in a Cartoon Motion for the first time. It became a favourite to listen to in the car when I was heading to primary school. I have searched high and low for a mailing list or somewhere to mingle with Mika fans and I am so happy I found this place!! I have been welcomed with open arms and I feel like I have finally found a home. I saw Mika in Belfast all those years ago (if anyone even remembers wh…

Hi everyone!! I'm Diana from Indonesia. I just joined MFC on September 15th. First of all, thank you MFC for allowing me to join. I would like to greet MFC members who have joined for a long time. I know that not many fans from my country join MFC, maybe because of lack of information, but that doesn't mean there aren't many Mika fans in Indonesia. I've only known Mika for the past few months, which is sad..😢, but better late than never!! 🤭🤣 It turned out that Mika had done a concert in Indonesia in 2013, which was even sadder😭, because I missed the concert..😖. I hope Mika is willing to come again to make a concert in Indonesia to meet his "Hardcore Fans", Mika…

hi everyone 👋 my name is Tomi, I'm a 17 years old, Hungarian boy. I've first discovered MIKA in 2018, when I was watching youtube and I fell into a loophole full of "The Voice" videos and saw one, where he covered Bohemian Rhapsody alongside Garou, Jennifer and Florent and one, where he "auditioned" with Grace Kelly. After that I checked out his music and realised that I've listened to his songs a lot when I was younger (especially from LICM) so I immediately fell in love with him, his music, his voice, his stage presence and his personality. He became and is my favourite singer. about me: I speak Hungarian, German and (mostly British) English, I love music, I p…

Hi, I'm Edith. I tried to join the forum a couple of days ago, but It didn't seem to work and I'm still trying to figure out the mechanics of it all. So, bear with me please, because I'm not a big internet or social media user (I had a myspace like a billion years ago and I use Youtube, but that's it). I'm an old fan. I was lucky to attend one of Mika's first gigs in 2006 and Gosh.. Did he make an impression.. So much talent and charm in such a beautiful package!! How could anyone resist his spell?? Over the years, I've come to admire him more and more because he's beautiful inside, too and just such an authentic and considerate so…

I may be new to the Mika Fan Club (you all seem like such wonderful people by the way) but I am not new to being a Mika Fan at all. It is quite recent that I started getting really into him and his music though. My name is Leo, I live in Switzerland and am open to questions if you have any. Mostly I am just here to have fun and appriciate Mika`s tendancy to stand on pianos. I have never been to a concert unfortunately, but am hoping to attend one when he comes to Sion in the summer! All in all, have a nice day! I`ve personally ordered it.

…but actually not new to being a fan of Mika! I‘m not usually a person who‘s really active in online fandoms because I get easily overwhelmed by the different "sub-groups" every fandom has on various social media, so I always stay rather silent and observe. But seeing the post where some of you lovely people handed over the yearbooks to him suddenly made me want to be a small part of this community, and how awesome is it that most of its activity seems to be revolving around this place here! My name is Sarina, I‘m 26 years old and from Germany. I’m currently in the process of graduating with a masters degree in the environmental field and taking on my doctoral…

Hi all Mika fans, I thought I should follow good manners and introduce myself My name is Veronika, I'm 37 and I'm from Czechia. I've recently joined MFC so I'm quite a fresh member – but I'm an enthusiastic explorer of Mika's world! Let me thank you for creating and managing such an incredible space full of content ♡ I've been familiar with Mika's name, of course, but I have to admit I was aware just of his biggest hits. Recently I did a deep dive into Mika's music and, oh dear, I'm obsessed! Love all the songs, music videos, artwork, Mika's personality and talents, Melachi and Amira (yes, I'm a dog lover)... and I could continue Hope…

Hello everyone! I kinda missed introducing myself when I first joined so I thought I'd do it now. Better late than never I guess! My name is Kimberly, I'm 25 years old and I'm from Germany. While Mika was not a new name to me and I had heard of him before (mainly because Relax was a big hit that was constantly on the radio when I was younger), I really only became interested in him shortly after Eurovision. I really liked his performance there, but didn't become a fan immediately. Instead, I saw a TikTok like a week after Eurovision of him performing Platform Ballerinas and I really liked it so I listened to that song and that song only for a few weeks. Then I…

Hello everyone, I am Annelies, I am 20 years old and I live in Belgium. I talked on a live with Deb for a bit, but someone told me I can properly introduce myself here. I am Annelies and I am a history student in Leuven, Belgium. I am a more recent Mika fan, as I rediscovered him on Eurovision. Though I was a big fan of his music when I was younger (what a big surprise it was to listen to lollipop again). I sadly have not been able to go to a concert yet, but I hope I can go soon! It is so nice to meet you all!

Hi everyone! I´m Bren, I live in Sweden and Mika is my Rufus since I heard his album No place in heaven! I had come out as trans and I had to stay strong for my kids and partner, while dealing with many different reactions from everyone around me. I felt really alone and suddenly there where these songs which shocked me because it felt like someone was seeing right through me. It felt a bit uncomfortable and some songs were even painful. But it made me realise I was not alone and my feelings were valid. It has been years and much has happened. When I listen to these songs now they still touch me, but in a good way. Mika´s music and performances give me j…

Hiiii everyone! My names Cat, I’m 18 and I’m from Scotland. I only became a fan a few months ago ( better late to the party than never )when I discovered him through Eurovision. It was such a great night and easily one of my favorite concerts I’ve ever been to!!!! Im super excited to be here and to be apart of the MFC community! : ) x

hello people of the forum tm, im val! or sonder. they're both in the name for a reason 😌. i use they/it/he pronouns but im fine with people defaulting to they/them. im 18, so that probably puts me in the Slightly Younger bracket of people around here. the way i got into mika's music was via eurovision! i watch it every year(im queer and european. of course i do), and was just Looking at this guy with a Very English accent like. this is italian eurovision. what's he doing here. then i looked up some stuff, realised he was both the lollipop guy and the grace kelly guy, got completely and utterly blown away by the half time performance, and dove head-first into all of his mu…

Helllo All! My name is Brittany and I’m from Hamilton Ontario. I’ve been a Mika fan for a long time but surprisingly it took me a long time to stumble upon this lovely group! I still remember the exact moment I heard my first Mika song. I was sitting in a chapters book store when Lollipop 🍭 came on. I was instantly hooked, I went home and listened to the whole album. Mika’s music has been a part of my life ever since! It’s so nice to see an artist who is not only a great musician but a truly great person. I’ve always listened to his music and known a little about him but I’m learning more and more about Mika on a personal level recently and what genui…

Hi MFC! My name is Charlotte and I'm from Germany, currently studying in Austria. I'm a brand new Mika fan who discovered him through Eurovision. That evening made me realize that he is the guy who wrote all the fun songs I heard on the radio as a child (and loved!). I've basically been listening to all of his albums on repeat since and I'm even dragging my best friend to the concert in Colmar on the 24th which I'm very excited about. I've been amazed to find out about this dedicated fanclub that seems so keen on supporting Mika (and each other!) and I look forward to getting involved.

Hello, my name is Susan. I’m American but I’ve spent most of my life in Italy. I’ve been a member of MFC for only a few months. I became a fan of Mika in 2020 after watching him as a judge on X Factor Italy and checking out videos of his songs and performances (especially Sinfonia Pop) on Youtube. I was so pleased when I found out that he chose Bari as one of the 6 cities for his shows in Italy! Going to see him in September. 😊 I want to thank everyone who has contributed photos, links, translations (from French), info etc to the website. You’ve made it more fun to be a Mika fan!

Hi all! I’m Beth, 25 from Scotland! Loved MIKA since my mum bought Life in Cartoon motion for the car and kept up ever since! Loving Dear Jealousy at the moment, such a bop <3

Hello! my name is Daniel, I'm French Canadian and I'm of Lebanese descent. I'm in my twenties and work in the healthcare field. I currently live in Montréal. Growing up, MIKA wasn't unknown to me, seeing as he's a legend and from the same nationality as me. Every Lebanese I know is proud of the fact that MIKA & Shakira are part Lebanese :p. My earliest and most distant memory of liking MIKA was when I requested "Relax, Take it Easy" at my Grade 3 teacher's wedding (I was somewhat of a teacher's pet ). I've seen MIKA only once in concert in Lille, France on Dec 15th, 2019. Lebanon had already started to experience increasing turmoil at the time, so I had b…

Hi everyone!. My name is Luana, I'm 22 and I'm from Uruguay 🇺🇾 I became a fan this year at September (yes, I saw Ryan Reynolds singing and I clicked). At that moment everything was quite, I was watching the video over and over again. For some reason my ears recognized the song, I didn't know from where. So I searched "Grace Kelly" on YouTube and from there I've been listening and watching everything about Mika. When I listened to the old songs I had a flashback, specially with "We Are Golden". I remember having like 10 years old, watching the video on television and enjoying it so much (also freaking out cause a guy was dancing like crazy…

Hello there ! My name is Estelle and I've been living in Montreal for a couple of years (although going back to France soon). Anyway, I'm heading to the gig in Montreal next week, so hopefully I can meet some of you here, who knows ! I've started following Mika only recently (just before the pandemic), so there seems to be a lot of interesting things to discover on here. That's been ages I haven't been on a forum like this one ! I've been following on Instagram until now, but it's time to walk the whole pathway. And you know, I'm amazed by the whole community, there's a great energy. Cheers !

Hi! I'm new! I'm not sure what to write...I'm 30+ years old, on the Autism Spectrum. I like to read and write and call myself a 'genderfluid nerd'. My pronouns are ze/zim/zir and they are still pretty new to me, so if they are new to you, that is fine! I'm not an expert, but I am always happy to help others navigate neopronouns! The first time I heard a MIKA song was in an Old Navy store. This particular store that I used to shop at when I lived nearby, played the "Popular Song" version with Ariana Grande a lot and one day, I looked it up online, because I was curious about this song that played all the time in the store, and found out it was by a singer named MIKA and al…
