HM (Happy Memories) - Mika@Alcatraz - Milan (Italy)- April 12 2007

WARNING - THIS IS A VERY SENTIMENTAL POST!

Last year same date MIKA and some other 3000 ppl gathered in the venue called Alcatraz in Milan.

It was the first time for HIM to perform in front of such a big audience…and he was grateful.. oh so grateful!

It was the first time for ME to met the ppl that now are my dear friends…Mirtilla, Esperia75, Avoca,…and the first time I saw Allegra in the crowd, without meeting her personally (that came later) – who met Allegra in real life knows that it’s quite impossible to ignore her, as she’s as tall as Mika!...and Matt1984 was there too, and recorded a great audio.

Since then my life, and the life of the ppl I mentioned, has changed for good thanks to the fine and kind wizard…today I post this thread first to thank mika for all the joy he’s giving me, then to remember and finally to let recent fans know what happened that day….it was simply a heavenly night.

I know that my friends feel the same, so I’m posting in their names too. I hope they will add some comments after my post.

Same here. This city welcomed you with 3 changes of venue ( ) last year for a completely sold-out gig, the biggest one until then.

what to say? my 1st mika anniversry * goes all sentimental too*

the music, that had hooked me for a little before i actually attended one of his gigs, was unbelievably better performed right in front of my eyes, first row central, the best position ever at a mika gig so far.

do you believe i got at venue at 3pm and was # 2 in the row??? now people starts to queue the night before gig... how things change..

we got filmed and interviewed in the crow at gig and not by andy (mind ya, i had preferred andy to from-my-best-side-darling).

we were so naive as to still think the afternoon soundcheck was done all by mika..

seeing mr M in person on stage, bursting out for relax and thinking, wow, he's tall and wow, he's not bad at all.. THAT concert made the difference for me, mika wise.

and meeting him after gig was incredible too, nothing i had experienced before (being as i have always been usually starstruck), whilst we chatted with him in bits, for all the time he stood at 20 cm from us (mirtilla & me) surrounded by the crowd.

and not to forget, meeting robertina and her lovely family, mirtilla, esperia & igor, hotdlp, adriano, whom i recently saw again in london (it's a small world!).

it turned out i had been seen my matt and allegra, but i am sorry i cannot reciprocate the memory. though i distinctively recall someone from behind me asking for an autograph (I could not turn, i was too pressed by crowd) and saying her name was allegra and mika smiling and saying that's my sister's name!

Oh it's a good thread where to celebrate this day, our anniversary! Big thanks to Mr.M for gave us that intense moment and the following many others....

today i should have gone to milan in pilgrimage to Alcatraz...but i could not go, and i spent a horrible day....helping hubby to repaint the house!

All special of course but this i think was so great as he was so chilled

You know it was lovely to be with him from the very start .....

(This time last year i was so busy with Neil so ill, i am happy now he is so much better!!)
