Hellooo everyone! Trying to get a sense of how many people would join us for a drink/snacks/meal before the London show on 10th November. PLEASE NOTE: This is NOT, I repeat NOT, a meet & greet with Mika. He could obviously come if he wants to, as long as he lets me know in advance. This is simply a chance for all of us to get together for a drink and maybe meal. We need a rough idea of how many people are interested before we start planning anything. Please reply to this poll ASAP if you are planning to come! Thanks!

Hi! I´m glad to be here meeting you all. I´m Carla and I´m 22 years old. 😄 I´m interested in science like microbiology, genetics and tissue culture, when I'm in the lab, I love to listen to Mika and I also like to imagine that some of his songs are soundtracks for the novels I read 😋. I first fell for Mika´s music in my french class 7 years ago. My teacher had an activity where we listened to the song Elle me dit and to explain what did we understood it was about. I immediately found his voice gorgeus and joyful, that was when I became to follow him and to look for his activity. To practice listening to french, I warched The Voice and it really helped me improve. 😃My favourite songs are Boum boum boum, Rain, Overrated, L´amour fait ce qu´il veut, J´ai pas envie and Underwater. I really enjoy listening to his songs because I found them to have a very cheerful and joyful vibe but yet, the lyrics are so moving and sometimes sad. These really makes me admire his music and the philantropic actions he takes part in.

Hi everyone ! My name is Emilie, I'm 38 years old, I'm french but I've been living in Quebec for 13 years. As everybody, I've heard Mika songs on radio, but I really discovered Mika just 3 or 4 years ago, thanks to The Voice. I've immediately appreciated the man, and then I became increasingly interested in the singer. And right now, I'm so excited because I will go to the two shows in Montreal in september !!!! 😊 As for me, I love to stitch, knit, read. I'm a biologist and a teacher. My field is zoology, so I love animals . I have a dog, two cats (including a Munchkin 😍), a nude rat, two pigs and a spider. And I'm glad to join here ! 😀

Google translator ************************************************************* Mika's first time From the first (tragic) sexual experience to the first disappointments, from the first (tragicomic) cane to the first instrument played, Mika showed himself for what he is: a tornado that generates laughter. When there is no middle television, Mika is a different person. He is brisk and smiling as always, but with a sharp blade instead of a tongue. Without being tranchant, the Mika that a few days ago came to say hello to us in the newsroom is very different from the one forced between four walls of the TV. It's the real Mika. Moreover, as the title of My name is Michael Holbrook suggests, the next album coming out on October 4th is intended to be a confession of many small and big experiences that have made it the Mika of today. From the family to the first loves, it is as if Michael had made the proofs of this confession in front of our video cameras, in the column of La prima Volta. From the first disappointment to the tragic first time he made love, from the first instrument played to the first record he bought, Mika let himself go, without filters and without fear of saying what he really thinks (there is also a nice arrow at the houses record). We were surprised by this, but in a positive way. Just like Ice Cream, which was the first single of the new album. At this point, if these are the premises, there is to imagine that My name is Michael Holbrook can really be the record that everyone will talk about this fall.

Sorry, this is my thought, not report of Mika gig. The venue "NHK hall" is a memorable place for me, I've been there at David Bowie LIVE in 1978 ( Station to Station tour ) and 1992 ( Tin Machine ). Those memories make me sad.... In 1978, Bowie was 31 yrs old ( younger than Mika in 2016! ) the concert was incredible and one of unforgettable gigs for me... ( it's YouTube, if you'd like to see the concert David Bowie. Isolar II – The 1978 World Tour ) When Mika sang "Good Guys", the song reminds Bowie again... Mika's concert was awesome as always, he made us HAPPY and satisfied all of audience !! I felt sometimes Mika's voice is being metamorphosed .... but, he sang perfectly. Happy Ending a cappella was amazing. Hope he will sing on some songs from LITCM. and "Hurts" was awesome ! ( but, I love an album version ) Especially I have to write, Mika's Japanese speaking was very good !! His speaking Japanese made us smile.

I'm sorry for my belated post again!! In Tokyo, I was lucky to have a seat in a front row. It was my very first time to be in a front row... I was given that seat from my friend because a person who was supposed to come with her, couldn't make it for some reasons. I'm very sorry for that person. And I appreciate my friend for choosing me to have that seat instead! Thank you very much for MFC, I really had a wonderful time with a very good view. In Tokyo, the Heaven gate and the Cabin was on the stage. He wore a proper trousers of his Valentino suits. In Osaka, he was wearing a casual trousers, which looked like a black jeans. I liked them both! Yes, his voice condition was better in Tokyo than in Osaka. Of course I love his singing but I really enjoyed his talking between the songs as well. During STARING AT THE SUN, before he jumped off the stage, he sat down, right in front of me! I freaked out but I did my best to record the video to share it with all of you. Since he was so close to me, I tried to hear his singing voice directly, not from the speaker, but I couldn't hear it. Not because I was singing loudly. As he run down far from the stage his voice got smaller. I want to know how that speaker from his microphone was working... I will post a video of that moment here. I'm very very sorry for my bad singing and ugly shrill voice! But I hope you could enjoy Mika's beautiful sexy face! I remember that his forehead was shining beautifully with sweat. STARING AT THE SUN A group of people made a sign which says "ARIGATO" (thank you in Japanese), to surprise him and tell him THANK YOU. At the end of the show, I held up one too, and then a miracle happened. He took it from me!!! I freaked out again! He kissed it and he hold it in his mouth to make a big heart with his hands. I wanted him to give it back to me! It became a memorable moment. But you don't have to be jealous of me, because he never looked at me or said anything to me. He pointed the audience to the front and walked straight towards me on the left hand side of him and took it. It looks as if I am a staff member who was preparing to give it to him!!! I will post a video of that moment as well. "ARIGATO" at the end of the show Above all, I was very happy that we managed to tell him how grateful we are, and see him with such a lovely happy smile. Yes, he isn’t shy to show his skill on the language for the audience. I should learn from him. However, I know he is not good at how to pronounce “Love you when I’m drunk” in Japanese. It seems he gave up on it this year.

I just uploaded videos I shot. The view was good, but the sound is not good because the speaker was near. Additionally, I focused on watching him by my eyes directly, sometimes the camera missed to capture him... But I hope you'll enjoy these. ◆No Place In Heaven - Talk About You - Grace Kelly MIKA is speaking a lot of Japanese here. I was amazed that his Japanese was improved. I think he's genius for not only music and art but also mastering languages. https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=xvUiUzti2jk ◆A part of Big Girl He invited some fans onto the stage and danced with them. He knows the ways to enjoy the shows with us https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=_U00QzTKK1c ◆Good Guys - Origin Of Love I love Origin Of Love, but I didn't know this song has the image of riding a horse! https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=qO4Isl-_C_E ◆Take It Easy His jump is amazing as usual. https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=4lFT5skzzbI ◆Lollipop Pop Here, he's also speaking Japanese. Even if the greeting at the beginning was prepared, this is a proof that his ability of speaking Japanese is genuine! https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=mBoJuwY2NOU ◆Dance in Elle Me Dit I only shot his charming dance https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=L88B3f9LJak ◆We Are Golden - Last Party His idea, which is spilling out gold confetti from the inside of the jacket, was fantastic!!! I was greatly impressed. https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=30oxSIqP1pA ◆This is just the part of spilling confetti https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=7yEFaKL0CJg ◆Love Today The staging showing his silhouette through stained-glass-like set was totally art! https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=SUNLCGc3FYs ◆Greeting at the end of the show He found fans were holding up papers written "Arigato"(means Thank you in Japanese), he took a paper from my friend. It was the moment that the effort of fans who prepared those papers was rewarded https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=EfTytH0H8TE Anyway, this show was the best I've ever watched! I really thank MFC to give me a chance to watch the show like this.

What a great night in the fabulous NHK Hall, which Mika filled right up to the 3rd floor with enthusiastic fans! So many famous concerts have been held there over the years, it was a place filled with memories for a lot of people!! It was also really special for us Tokyo fans to be in a seated venue. We never had one before, and it was still possible to dance and party together in a less...well...dangerous? way. We used to come out covered in bruises from every Mika show, and quiet often we could hardly breathe from the crush and the heat - once Mika even said he couldn't breathe on stage it was so hot - well there was NO problem with that at NHK Hall, it was just open and wide and he ran around all over the stage. With a big hall and a big crowd like that, you can really see Mika just comes alive and he is at his best. His Japanese is also really impressive when he chatters away during the show - he has a huge and pretty unusual vocabulary - even if he just got someone to write down all the things he wanted to say, how could he remember it all at just the right moments? And then manage to put it all together grammatically? For a non-native Japanese speaker like me, who spent YEARS learning the language, I find it really mind-blowing how he can do that. Of course he's not perfect and the fans laugh a lot at his cute phrases and mistakes, but he really has a gift with languages, and can pull it all off quite spontaneously. I made a lot of videos - there was one guy standing in front of me who didn't move much at all, so it was challenging to get him out of the video...and then because we were so close to the speakers, my camera's sound got overloaded quite a lot. So if you watch mine, I hope you can enjoy the visuals and not mind too much about the sound coming and going. A few of the highlights for me - I LOVE Porcelain that he opens with, it really let's us hear his voice so clearly. He sang No Place in Heaven, he jumped off the stage and ran around in the audience during Staring at the Sun, which is so nice for the fans further back. Underwater was just beautiful looking back at all the lights from everyone's phones. And he sang HURTS too - we called out a lot to request that song - in Japanese it sounds like "Hearts" so I was nominated to shout it out as "hurts", and my voice must have been so loud he told me to stop bullying him and then he sang it!! There was a group of fans who had made some ARIGATO (Thank you) signs and lots of people held them up at the end, and Mika really loved that. I made a separate video of that.
