for those of you trying to send me PM messages, it seems someone has moved me out of the admin group so now my 900+ current messages takes me over the 50 limit I suddenly have. If a mod fancies sorting that

Paypal takes a huge chunk as a 'fee' which means I would have to charge even more on the badges.

Often paypal is used to scam by making a purchase and then doing a 'chargeback' via dispute which means you lose the product and the money. Google however protects the seller far better than paypal ever has and they also charge less to process a transaction.

I really want these but i don't think my mom will let me use her credit card!! Is this website safe?? because when i go to "my cart" a message appears saying this page contains "nonsecure items" and thats a bad sign!

Thanks for the heads up. Was not seeing that error in Firefox. Loaded in IE and it popped up. It was due to a statistics script being loaded on http:// within the page. This has now been removed and there should not longer be an error or warning.

Please do let me know if you still have any issues on the off chance I missed something, but it should be fine now

Hey all!

Saw a load of traffic coming from here and got a few questions today

Feel free to email via the site so I can be sure to answer any questions you all have.

Also, don't forget, there is a code on these forums on one of the threads that gives you a discount for being an MFC member. I am sure some of you know where to find that.

Yes, they are a little pricey compared to other places, but they are all hand made to order and not mass produced cheap bits of tat. They are metal, not plastic etc.

I may look at pulling the prices down in the future, but they are currently so time intensive to create that I would be making a loss on them if I did it now. Sure you all understand.

Finally, I am happy to ship to ANY country. If the site doesn't allow it then just email (via the yumbadges site) a list of the badges you are after and how many. I will send out a Google 'invoice' which will then let you easily pay with credit or debit card... hopefully that helps you all and answers all the current questions.

I still keep an eye out on here... but am obviously quieter since I don't have my hands on the steering wheel anymore. Busy support Irwin and co at the moment and may help Noah And The Whale shortly too.

And sorry, yes, can only take credit / debit cards as cash / cheque are a problem and bank transfers can't be trusted / relied on etc. Have been burned a number of times over the years so simply don't take the risks any more. Sorry.

Based on previous mailings to Italy... yes they should get there in time.

I just got my order, so it took 2 1/2 weeks to get here to the state of Washington. They are all perfect and very wonderful. I will probably wear all ten when I see Mika in Seattle.

2 1/2 weeks isn't that bad though it is the longest reported so far. We can offer super speed delivery but it costs so ******* much with the mail service that it just doesn't make any sense for things this size

Sorry I was not around the last week or so.... some serious family health issues were taking place.

Mine turned up today- They're great!!!!! All safe and sound (well, the badges were, surprisingly. The whole envelope was ripped apart and had been put into a new clear one by Royal Mail saying it had been damaged in their care Also meant that the badges were floating around in the clear polythene so there must have been a fair bit of promotion to the post office people...and my university residence assistants who sort our mail...and the rest of my flat mates who have the key to our mail box thing )

Phew, glad they got there ok. Will soon be using new packaging for safer transit as Royal Mail / Post service can be a bit of a pain in the rear with not taking care of things.

Well, my badges just came -- a little over a week after I ordered them.

 

Hate to say it, Sunny, but one of them came in two pieces -- the pinback

part is completely separated from the front.

 

The others are great, though -- small, as others have pointed out,

but they look great.

 

I just wanted to say, for all you wonderful badge designers -- the badges are

shown as actual size in Sunny's sig. Just something to keep in mind when

you're designing.

Been busy but back now. Have found out that we got a faulty batch of components that meant they didn't sit right once pressed. Have changed supplier and will replace any that suffer a similar fate of course... no question. Have replied to your PM and will get the replacement out right away

These are great, though I am not sure the one with the text MIKA on will print all that well. perhaps you can define the outline of the text a little more?
