  1. Fair enough, we're all entitled to like the music we like, but I will never, ever understand how people can limit themselves. I love Kaiser Chiefs and I love Mika just as much. It's good to like a bit of everything, surely. The article; I don't think it was too personal. Simon even mentioned he liked the song originally. It's just number one fight talk! I think more often than not, things like these are said by artists.
  2. I'm a bit late on this topic, but I'm going! Standinggg. Still waiting for my tickets to come, too. Ah well...we've still got quite a bit of time for them to arrive :]
  3. I've always said, it's a clear sign that you've made it when you make the soaps. I can't help but wonder what'd be like for the artist to be watching a TV show i.e. Emmerdale, and your song plays ----> like that, maybe!
  4. 1000?! YAY, that's great. Congratulations!
  5. I've just found out, the date I've got some tickets for (London, 14th) happens to be one of my exams. That's typical. Nothing the next day though...so that's not too bad. Work hard in the exam and have a nice reward later on - in the form of Mika! :]
  6. Personally, I'd get standing tickets...but I do for any concert I'm going to. Standing, there's a possibility (if you fight) that you can get to the front. However, there's also a chance you won't have the most amazing view. Or seats, you can guarantee being able to see...and avoid any elbowing going on down there I don't know what to expect, actually. I've not seen Mika before. I'm guessing there'll be no crowd surfers and such?
  7. Fingers crossed, he'll be number one on Sunday
  8. He's clearly a Corn Flakes man. He doesn't resemble a caveman enough to NOT have Corn Flakes
  9. My favourite song off of the album is different each day! I just love them all. Currently, I'd say my favourites are: Love Today Stuck In The Middle Lollipop However, that list will soon change
  10. Ahhh I quite often do that. The majority of my friends aren't too interested in going to concerts, atleast to the extent I do anyway, so I'm stuck on my own. Sooo I travel on my own and meet up with people I've met online. Or people I've met at previous concerts and kept in contact with online, I'll meet with those again. It's great fun! I don't really see too much of a problem if you meet at the venue where there's other people etc.
  11. I was having trouble finding the links, too. Thank you for posting it :]
  12. If I remember rightly, I've come across a review on this site before, and it was terrible. The reviewer was being far too personal and half of the comments had no relevance at all. Nice to see he's performed well again.
  13. I'm a bit worried about that too. I really have to go to the London show. Hopefully, the tickets are on sale on Monday. It gives me more time to get a hold of the money to buy them!

    Album

What. An. Album. It's brilliant, I absolutely love it. Every song is a corker!
  15. I can't really add anything to what has already been said. Mika performed very well, I really enjoyed the songs he played. The cancellation of the signing was disappointing though, as was the fact that there were only three songs. Funnily enough, before I left, I was wondering how he was going to manage the signing and the performance later on that night. Especially as I'd just phoned up HMV, and they told me they were expecting it to be very busy. So I was half expecting them to only allow him to sign copies of the album up until a certain time; but they cancelled it instead.
  16. No wristbands?! I'm shocked...but glad. I'm unable to get there much earlier than 6pm...I just hope they still allow people in at that time.
  17. I went to a gig last year some time, but had only bought one ticket. My friend travelled with me and planned to buy a ticket outside...and then they asked for £100! We had £40 with us, so we literally couldn't pay that price. Eventually, the doors opened and we managed to get the ticket for £40. Soon after, just before the main act came on, we found somebody else who had just paid the face value of the ticket. So that's very true, they wait for the show to start and then begin to lower the prices. We weren't TOO pleased with what we'd paid but...it happens
  18. £8.00?! Then they sell for that price. Wow.
  19. Atleast there's some good music on TV shows now. He's bound to get even bigger too...it's gonna be craaaazy!
  20. How much?! Ahhh. It's so infuriating when you see tickets going for those sorts of prices. The thing is, people pay it, so the touts get what they want. I still think they should stop ticket selling on e-bay. Then those websites where you can sell/buy tickets for the face value helped to be made more..."known".
