    Great! I left Manchester to come to London to see him and now he's beaten me back home!!! I work about a 10 minute walk from the TV studios!!!! I won't be back in Manchester til 4.15pm tomorrow. Grrrrr!! however......yeaahhhhh to UK TV promo!!!!

    We were at the front with Kath and Abby but really far over so had a hard job with pics and videos but videoed pretty much all of it. Will upload stuff tomorrow night when I get home. When he did the songs from LICM I could hear everyone around us going "oh, I like this one' and singing along. He really got the crowd going and had everyone singing along at the end of Love Today. He mentioned Kylie lots saying she was the happiest lady he knew and hoped everyone enjoyed her show but also said she'd stolen his show!! The show was very tight and he opened and closed a fair few songs on the piano. The end of relax was so slick as the keyboard stopped he started playing it on the piano without missing a beat. I had a sore throat from singing along and loved him ending with Love a Today as it's my all time fave. When he finished we rushed off to get something to eat but so many people left with us!! They were clearly waiting until he'd finished before going anywhere!!!! It was, as ever, over too soon but fabulous non the less. Chic were great from what we saw of them from afar but Grace Jones was an abomination and shouldn't have been on just before Kylie. However, Kylie was fab!! So, we had a fantastic day, ate and drank loads and staggered away with sore feet at 10pm.

    This one is slowly rising in my favourite track chart! I think it could be a great summer single and can almost picture the video to go with it!

    I'm hoping that means a better chance of getting near the stage whilst most people are wandering about before the headliners come on! Although I wouldn't actively get tickets to see any of the other acts I think Kylie will put on a great show and Nile is amazing too. I like the Years & Years single so they may well be pretty good. Like Treasa said, it's a great excuse to spend time with friends and visit London too. If I could guarantee the weather and Mika singing Good Wife....I'd be very happy.

    Having spent the day listening to the album around the house I've just lain in bed listening to my favourite tracks (so many on day 1!!!!) but the feeling I get from Good Wife is overwhelming. When the chorus comes in I'm literally lifting up my arms in the dark and mouthing the words like I'm at a gig....desperately trying not to sing them out loud as it's 2am and my fiancé is sleeping soundly beside me!! I just want to listen to it on repeat!!! PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE, let him sing it st a Hyde Park next week!!!!

    This has a very Paul Simon feel again. Not like TBWKTM = Graceland, (which I loved) but earlier Simon and Garfunkel stuff. It's got a real singer/songwriter vibe to it.

    Mikasounds is showing the release date as 22nd June too. Although it says 15th in the blurb about the album further on. The reason I'm so jumpy about it, is that I'm going to the Hyde Park gig on 21st and really wanted to have heard it before the gig. I pre ordered mine with Amazon who sent me an email last week saying that the release date had changed. Marilyn, I checked play and they still say 15th but if iTunes and Mikasounds are saying 22nd I don't know how they can have it earlier?

    I've just read through the days posts and it strikes me that most people on here don't like the shows themselves. I do like them so I don't see the judges or contestants as "a joke". I'd be so excited sitting down on a Saturday night and having an hour or two of Mika live on TV. With spin off shows and the media stuff that goes with it all, I'd be in heaven. Like Marilyn has said it has increased the "fame" for other musicians who will have already been adored by their fans but the exposure on TV made them household names. He'd be know to the nation as the funny/sweet/quirky/talented guy that we all know he is instead of being referred to by the masses as "that high pitched guy who once sang that 'I could be brown, I could be blue' song". He'll never be a cool artist in the uk but he could become a liked and well known one. I kind of think it's too good to be true that it would happen as the scheduling would surely be too tight but I am definitely keeping everything crossed that it does. I wavered between his giggle meaning 'don't ask me about it as it's all very delicate at this stage' and, like Christine said, it indicating that it was too ridiculous a suggestion to give an answer. I hope there's news soon though....of this and uk gig dates......too much suspense is not good for a woman of my age!!!!!

    It appears that clashing with Italian X Factor is the problem but that they are trying to work round it. I'd be so happy if he did it.

    I got the special Mika feeling when I watched the NYC video but my fiancé (who has become an aficionado since meeting me!) thought it was meh. He didn't understand why I rated it so highly. Then I sent the video to Joeee, my Mika accomplice, who's fave track is Billy Brown, and she's crazy about it too. Then I've come on here and so many of us feel the same way. It's fantastic. We all feel the magic, the Mika spark. I really can't wait for the album!!!!!!

    Amazon have emailed me today to say my pre order won't be available until 22nd now. Has there been a change to any of the release dates!
