UPDATE: The Amazon.com site in the U.S. is once again offering the Blu-Ray release!!!!! The release date is Dec 9th. In the meantime, I ordered the UK version (Regionless, PAL). Surprisingly, it plays perfectly on my PS3 and Sony LCD (NTSC) TV (both purchased in the U.S.) Woohoo!!!

So...has anybody tried playing the PAL DVD in a PS3 aimed at a NTSC TV?

This thread was about the Blu-Ray edition. It is true that there are TWO regular versions (including an Amazon.com Exclusive Deluxe Edition] that are available for pre-order. The Blu-Ray version still comes up if you search for "Mika blu-ray" but with the explanation that it has been "discontinued by the manufacturer."

I live in the USA and was excited to order my copy of Live Au Parc Des Prince on Blu-Ray...but Amazon.com now says the title has been "discontinued by the manufacturer." :-( Does anyone know why? I'm guessing the Regionless PAL version available in the UK won't work on my equipment...

The way it worked for me... When I inserted the CD, itunes opened and displayed the tracks. I Quit itunes. On the desktop I found an icon that looks a bit like the CD cover. When I clicked on that (mac os x) it opened Safari and took me to a registration page. After registering, it prompted me to make sure the CD was in the drive. When I clicked OK, it "verified" the CD, then took me to an "Audio & Video" page (still on Safari). This page had four files that could be streamed (2 videos and 2 acoustic tracks). When I clicked Play, WMP opened and played them. (There was a note in the txt file that warned that you may need to quit other players and apps).

A number of Mac users who posted on this board indicated having problems accessing the Bonus Contact (2 videos and 2 acoustic tracks). Push Entertainment has apparently remedied this issue. Today I was able to access the files on my Intel Mac (using Safari and Windows Media Player). [You can save the files to your computer if you have Flip4Mac and QT Pro]. The downside is that when you click on the link "To see this fantastic session in full go to Yahoo Music," error messages pop up each time! Yahoo's LAUNCHcast is still not compatible with Mac OS X. From their Help Section: "LAUNCHcast is not currently compatible with: the Mac OS X operating system."

I'm in Seattle. I got mine on Ebay. MUCH cheaper...and I got it quick!! :-)

In the 11 January issue of Boyz magazine (Mika on the cover), Mika is interviewed... Boyz Mag: You're making huge waves in the States - considering how conservative Americans can be, that's quite a feat! Mika: It's really strange! And MTV's using 'Love Today' to re-launch their channel, and I'm booked on The Tonight Show, which is practically unheard of for an artist who hasn't released a single yet. Has anyone heard about Mika being on The Tonight Show? Has it happened?

Yeah...the acoustic tracks are the ones he did on Freddie's Grand Piano (from Dodgy Holiday). This is probably why they have pulled Dodgy Holiday from most download sites...they're giving them a way as Bonus Tracks IF you have a PC! :-(

Okay...I tried it on my PC at work and it took me to the Yahoo Music Site. Yahoo Music/Launch doesn't work with Mac OS X. Has anyone else been able to play Bonus content on a Mac? [Two of the Bonus tracks (which stream from Yahoo) are acoustic versions. I wonder if these were the ones on the now unavailable Dodgy Holiday]

So my CD came today. When I inserted it in my Mac, it opened a program that had me sign up for alerts, downloads, etc. I thought it was going to take me to acoustic tracks and other bonus features...but nothing happend! Is something suppose to play??

Okay...it appears that all the songs on the Dodgy Holiday - EP are still in the UK iTunes store and can be purchased separately. The Album is still listed but generates the error above when attempting to purchase. Hmmmm....

I just went to the UK iTunes store tonight...clicked on Dodgy Holiday - EP, and got this message: "The item you requested is not currently available in the UK Store." Strange! I wonder what happened. As far as I know, this is the only recording of Mika using Freddie's grand piano.
