This is gonna be a long post so stay with me! I'm another who hasn't been here for ages but when I heard about Freddie (David) I had to come here (after I actually composed myself) and just remind people of the amazing person he was.. and always will be in our hearts of those that knew him. Freddie was MIKA's No.1 fan.. you guys might think you are but nope, that was him 100%. This forum wouldn't be here if it wasn't for him setting it up with another guy. It was just an idea and was Freddie who made it a reality!!!! My first gig was also my Birthday so Freddie decided we were having a party. Everyone brought drink and food and we got told off so many times by management to turn the MIKA cd down as it was on a constant loop.. . The guy in the next room started to complain but Fred turned him round and he was part of the party in the end. He was just like that. Everyone's friend. I will never forget at that show I asked MIKA to write a note for Freddie, as there were complications as to him missing the show. (Back in 2007!) I actually saw tears in Freddie's eyes, he was so grateful. His life for years consisted of MIKA and the MFC. He made it his life's wish just to make everyone happy and to get as many people to see/meet MIKA as possible. We always had a connection both being from the Nort East of England. Even though I'm at the bottom and him at the top,we would meet for lunch and coffee... and boy he could drink some coffee (aswell as beer ?He had hollow legs!) Unfortunately, after his initial operation we weren't didnt go out anymore. Either I was poorly or he made an excuse-but it's only just come out how ill he really was, but never told a soul. He kept his outer shell in tact and played the happy, go lucky guy most of you knew. When things turned sour with the MFC, I stood by him, after so many didn't. You had to know the real person to know to never believe the rumours and attention seeking kids. He put himself in a vulnerable position being one of only a couple of men on the MFC. Luckily he was always the bigger person and bounced back. For the newbies in here you are missing a person who made the MFC a wonderful place. It used to be such a laugh and a way to find information.. as back then MIKA was unknown and we helped put MIKA on the map. Freddie was more involved than any of you will know. Freddie ... yes I will always call him that. We discussed using our real names but agreed nah..He was always my Fredddie and I was his Daisylou. After MIKA and music his other love was tennis and he was good at it too. The world has lost another good person and far too early. I Hope wherever you are, you are laughing till your face is like a beetroot. You never failed to make me giggle. I actually said on Facebook/twitter..He always called me his 'little ray of Sunshine' but My Darling Freddie... nobody shone as bright as you! Miss you! Loveya! ❤️❤️❤️ RIPFreddie.

The Aldelphi holds 1,500 people so will be a big show in London on October 19th. I fell asleep after listening to Metro radio for hours so missed that interview... (Was confused as no presenter on the show called Kenny D?) Fingers crossed he does a show in Newcastle aswell as Scotland. That lady wasn't going to let him out of the studio before he said there would be a show. Exciting times xx

I heard this as a tiny clip on iTunes and was kinda sad. It was just a bunch of words that rhyme all strung together. NOW.... I've heard the whole song and what a difference!!! I now love this song! The video too being just M. It's look at me... I can sing! I'm not just a tv celebrity who comments on others' singing. He looks vulnerable but I like that. The black and white makes it edgy too. I do miss the 'candy pop' but he like us all, has grown up and moved on. I'm liking the new MIKA vids if this is one of many. The song to me has the same vibe as 'Kids' but is more of an ear worm as it stays with you. I'm now inspired to buy the Album where as I was going to buy it as I'm a fan of MIKA and be rude not too. All I need is a few UK dates and I will be an Extra Happy Bunny this Easter. Ps. My advice to myself.... is not to listen to the teaser clips anymore haha!

I won't know till I open my eyes tomorrow for definate but looking good to go!!!!!! I won't be there till late so will meet everyone afterwards. Soooooooooo excited!! Just hope all goes to plan now! xxx

I have decided to step down as REP for England. I feel I am not a good role model for Newbies as my threads/posts seem to be the only the controversial ones??? and when trying to help new fans/people get told am a **** stirrer...it doesn't look too good now does it. I am too ill to play at schoolground games. Comments here there and everywhere bout me NOT being ill when frankly I am it may not be obvious but all you have to do is ask. All sounds 'FREAK'ing awesome!!!! Wish I could have joined you all but was in bed poorley.. AGAIN!! (and for a while to come yet it seems ) ...sooooo fed up it is untrue...can't even get to sit in the sunshine ....but loving the tweets so Thanks! to those who kept the No Go-ers updated. The pics are superb! There is no need for paps anymore..they should just use MFCers! Was a shame more MFCers weren't front row tho...as some have never been there yet. I heard some of the flowers MIKA threw were caught further back so all is good in the end. can't wait to see more pics and vids xxx

MIKA wrote "Love You!" after i asked him to write the first thing that comes into his head HAS THE 3 Kisses Fred!!

He did this ^ in Paris after PDP. My tshirt was over the barrier and after I said it was mine and he drew me a pic... It was the first crying eye I had seen...wonder if he would have coloured it blue if he had a blue Sharpie! I have never worn it incase the pic comes off!

WOWSER!! How good does everyone look in costumes??..why we stopped doing costumes is beyond me as people look so fab!!!!..Ingie's wig looks like my hair on a daily basis! LOL..she has the excuse of falling down a rabbit hole Sooo pleased for Fred and Ingie.. Where is Ingie on the vid I couldn't see her only David..*I edit as I think I see her like a little jumping bean next to Imma ...is it her? Happy for Fred especially as he was so disappointed last time not being on stage..I understand this feeling On the plus side....for me!! Luke Donegan..was on stage too and as I couldn't go told MIKA 'Daisy says Hi' and that I wasn't well'...M replied 'Send her my Love!' How kind is he? ...Luke for telling him and MIKA for saying that...Thanks Boyz!!! I so wish I could have been there I know I have said it 100x already but I had a feeling this was 'THE' show to be at. Was this the signature I got for you??? ...from Leeds when you were 'allegedly' too drunk to get in? ..I wasn't there so don't know, all I do know is, I asked for that after telling the story of there was loads of us but only half got in and it ain't right!! That was when it was raining like I have never seen rain before,there was only about 10 people at the M+G and he was there for well over half an hour just chatting. Luke and Mikey there then and I got that video for you from Cherisse when you fancied her and had a balloon for her....halcyon days...

Does anyone know these girls? (have forgotten names) they are so sweet and lovely..stood next to me at Hammersmith and live in Paris. So nice to see them again. ps. made this photo tiny on PB but insists to be huge on MFC??

If you don't want me to respond on this thread why did you write the above and then ask for the reply to be a pm? Therefore not letting me to have my say and explain to others what I mean??..especially as you seem to have got the wrong end of the stick! I haven't got a problem with Mellody AT ALL!! which is what i said in the post! I used her as the example only because she posted about wanting this and that EXTRA to what MIKA is doing already,which reminded me that a few others have said the same and I felt something needed to be said. I am saying YOU meaning 'you guys' as I am not going to any of these new shows..I haven't included myself. There was no malice intended and 'being above you' Where have you got that impression from?? You seem to be finding things in my post which are not there..MY DEAR. There maybe some who think they are heirarchy in the MFC but I definately am not one of them and I feel you are just baiting me so I will argue..well unfortunately I won't. I have as much right as anyone to write on these boards.
