Mika Has Terrific Results In "sexiest" Poll In France*
Emy replied to A. Clay's topic in Mika News and Press
Oh Yeah. Voted Mika many many times. -
Wait. It wasn't him who sang Grace Kelly. It was Josiah Leming. but he didn't make it through. Paula made a mistake in thinking the dude that sang Everybody's Talkin' sang Grace Kelly. I thought that was even more coinsidential. =)

REPORTS/PICS/VIDS for MIKA@ House of Blues in Chicago: 05-02-2008

Thank you. It was made with a giant cardboard circle with newspaper taped into a sort of spiral on top of that. Then I put paper mache all over it (gluey newspaper). Waited till it dryed, and then painted it! The lollipop stick was made with posterboard. -

Finally the show statred and it was so amazing, we watched it from backstage. It was funny because Big Girl was watching with us and when she was up next she said, "I'm so nervous I'm gonna throw-up then pee in my pants." But we assured her she would do fine and when the song was over she said she loved it and wouldn't mind going back out there. Finally Grace Kelly came on and that's when I stated getting nervous. Amanda and I ran back to the room where the huge lollipop I made was and then ran back to our spots where we were watching. All of us were next and we had all these cool dance moves planned out like ring-around-the-rosy and skipping and all that but when we went out there we just went along with everything. The floor was a little slippery because of the confeti, and holding a giant lollipop didn't really make it easier. But it was so much fun! Then at one point Mika took the lollipop away and I just went along with it, but when I got it back it was kind of limpy. lol. But it still stood up. When the song was over I waved bye to everyone and this dude asked if he could have the giant lollipop. I said no and told him it was for Mika. =) Then we were backstage again but Amanda and I had to get our coats from the backroom. So we went to go get them and then we passed Mika and the band. I'm still holding the lollipop and I asked Amanda if I should give it to him now. I mean he was tired but still having a good time talking about the show with the band and I gave it to him anyway. He said it was wonderful and he loved it so much. He thanked me so many times. Then we were off to change. When we got to the dressing room Mika's mom and Yasmin seemed to be in a rush to leave. But I would be too with so much to pack. So we changed back to our regular clothes and asked Nadya if we would be able to see Mika. So was kind of unsure but said she would arrange it. She told us to go to the backstage room and wait so we did. And then all of a sudden out of nowhere Mika shows up! We walked to another room so people wouldn't see him through the door and he decided to sign stuff first. We gave him our presents and when I ave him my drawings he's like, "Wow. These are so cool. And they're not crap. Usually you see crap artwork but this is definatly not crap. I can't wait to show my sister. She'll love these. Thank you." I'm so gald he liked them. Maybe he'll hire me as an art creator for his upcoming albums. lol. Finally we all had to leave and we said our goodbyes. It was so nice to meet MFC members finally. You're all so nice. This was definatly something to remember and I'll never forget it. I made some new friends. Christina, Amanda, and Amanda. (2 Amandas!) It was all just so exciting. Pictures from me tomorrow yeah? I'm still tired from last night. -

Finally made it on. =) Looks like Amanda gave you the details on pretty much everything! My story's pretty much the same except... when my mom dropped me off at the HOB I accidently went into the wrong building. So I was walking back and forth with this huge lollipop in this weird building, and this guy though the glass is pointing at me and I'm pointing at myself like, "What? Me?" So he opens the door and he's asks, "Is that a giant lollipop?" Of course I turned it around and I said yeah and then he asked me what I was doing here, so I told him I was looking for the HOB. He said it was the building next door and was kind enough to lead the way, all the way outside without a jacket (yes the weather was horrible as you've heard). So I went in and I didn't know who to ask to go backstage so I asked a security person. He wasn't much help though. He seemed to preoccupied with ripping wristband for everyone. So I called Nadya and asked what I should do. She told me to go to the box office and tell them I was there. So I did and they pointed out the other lollipop girls waiting in a corner. We all said hi to each other and my aunt tried to help Amanda get to the HOB. (Which appearently she told me you were very lost. lol) Then Nadya took us backstage and we waited for Amanda. When she finally arrived, about 10 minutes later Nadya came back for us so we can get dressed. We walked up a couple of flights of stairs and went into this little dressing room. It was so exciting. You could see all of the band's wardrobe. At one point I knew I was looking at Mika's because his outfits were so unique and colorful. =) So we all got dressed and the lollipop girl dresses were so cute! I thought they were made of a silky fabric but it's really a regular fabric with like...a tint of shine or something. Really cool. I noticed the dresses were kid of flat at first but I just thought it was supposed to be like that (for some reason). Then they took out these huge ruffle skirts. We put them on and we all went Poof! It was funny and cute. So when we walked around we had to watch out for our poofiness. It was fun. Then we put on our wigs, headbands, freckles, and then we were off! We had to wait for a while in the back room until the show started which was fine because we saw the whole band and Mika enter and leave though the room we were in. -

It's interesting. I just really don't like how the interviews have to repeat Mika's from lebanon, born in Beirut, very colorfull. :/ It gets annoying after a while. But I do like that word 'fey'. lol.
