Yeah we have two bridges : One that connects us to Benfleet (that's how I get my train) and another one that can go towards Basildon and out of essex completely. If I were to drive to London, I'd take the one that doesn't take me to Benfleet train station. The one that goes to the station goes to Southend and shizz, bit of a dead end really lol. If I wanna get out of essex I take the other bridge.

I say I come from Essex because the Island is part of Essex. Like the Shetland islands are part of Scotland, I guess.

of course it is, why would the word Island be in the title otherwise? LOL don't worry you're not the only one to ask, loads of people do actually. We're quite close to the mainland to be honest, I think people find the concept of coming from an Island difficult or something, they must think I must be as far away from mainland as Hawaii is or something haha

"do you need a passport to get on and off the island?" and "do you row to places?" are quite common questions...
