  1. I heard about Grace Kelly being a huge hit in the UK so I downloaded it (I know...naughty me) and I loved it. So I downloaded some more, and ordered the cd that same night via Internet. Mika's cd is actually one of the first albums I bought of which I liked ALL songs on it.
  2. Aaaaargh why wasn't I there.... Thanks for the links!
  3. I collect lots of things (which cost too much money lol) I collect Alan Rickman movies on dvd (still need 3 more....) Anything to do with Take That, which is rather a funny story, I have so much stuff, merchandise, video's, cd's, single's even LP's, shampoo, perfume, books, necklaces, socks, bedsheets you name it, I got it. When they got back together a friend of mine lost her collection in a house fire so I had mine insured.....now I have to pay extra on my insurance because of the collection they taxated it very high. Not selling it in a million years though... And I collect Harry Potter books in all languages
  4. Yeah, I was bummed out that I couldn't get tickets to the Jensen show and didn't have time to get to Schiphol (no car, bit too far away and I have weekend OV (you Dutchies know what I'm talking about:wink2: )) else I would have gone there! A friend of mine works at Schiphol (which is good for when you want to know the exact arrival of some stars:thumb_yello: ) and she saw Mika when he left, damn her she didn't even throw herself in front of him telling him he's the hottest man in town. And OMG Kevin, he might've passed your house:shocked: can I buy a piece of your pavement lol?
  5. Kevin, the re-run is tonight at 17.40u, on RTL 5 so you could watch it then (hope you read this in time!)
  6. When he left the couch (on which he was sitting while talking to the host) to go to his piano, I indeed noticed that his jeans were nearly falling of his cute little bum, but he wasn't jerking them up during singing (at least, I didn't notice) I was a little pre-occupied with his eyes and his smile...wow...
  7. It sorta dawned on me you might mean those....(in my head they are called suspenders...never mind) but sorry to dissapoint you...he didn't wear any tonight! His green shirt was highly colourful though, very happy green:thumb_yello:
  8. wait a sec...did you mean suspenders???? coz he wasn't wearing any...
  9. Uhm you mean his clothing right (non native english here, sorry, sometimes I get confused)? If so; he was wearing blackish washed jeans (the tight fit kind ...need I say more?) and a green sweater with a white top underneath. My mum thought he looked fit If not; sorry, I got confused when you mentioned the braces....(and what means olaying?) just say so if I ask stupid Q's....
  10. No, no it usually takes a week before they upload the video's. I was just explaining that, when you go there now you see video's from december it's because the show had a break from december till this week. Mika was on the third episode of the new season. Probably next week his show will be put on this site, so you don't have to wait untill May lol
  11. He was on the Jensen show tonight, so technically he was in Holland. It's a bummer you can't get tickets for the show for the dates you want (meaning, you can't order tickets to a specific date) because else I would have been in the audience cheering him on.
  12. (dunno if this was posted here already...if so...excuse me!) Tonight Mika was a guest in the Jensen! show on Dutch tv, I personally hate the show BUT a lot of people usually watch it and thank heavens the host was very positive about Mika. Mika was looking very good and he was witty. He sang Grace Kelly while playing the piano and that was the only acompany he had, it sounded very good though! It still amazes me that Mika sings so very good when he sings live. On the whole, a very good postive vibe going on in Holland which is good cause now more people will know about Mika! oh and this: http://www.rtl.nl/shows/jensen/video/ is the website of the show and the episode in which Mika was might turn up on this page coz you can re-watch all the old episodes here. The shows has just started its new season this week that's why the "newest" date dates back to december.
  13. I paid €58 for the tickets, I didn't think it was that expensive, for Robbie Williams in June last year I paid €80! And I wanted to go to see Madonna but her tickets were over €90!! Plus, I will have an excuse to travel to Denmark, never been there, always wanted to go!
  14. Still nothing about Mika still supporting them, I am super excited now since I bought tickets today to see Take That in Denmark!! And they will come to Holland the 1st of november, so please, please, please Mika join them so you can see how wonderful Holland is and then you can come back and do your own gig!!!
  15. Mostly his voice and music, but also his smile (gotta love his teeth) I couldn't believe he is the same age as me..he looks older (not OLD, but older).
  16. Nice pix!! I love his teeth they are so cute!
  17. My ultimate fave is Any Other World, love that song... other favourites are Grace Kelly, Lollipop, Big Girl, Relax, take is easy and My Interpretation. Pretty mucht the whole album!
  18. LOL Have you made a plan how you're going to achieve this goal? At least you have a back up plan for when things don't work out teehee!
  19. Alrighty then... To follow my short introduction; I'm Tessy, most people call me Tess (it's short for Theresa, nobody calls me Theresa except my nan). I'm 23 and live in the South of the Netherlands (Breda). I studied Tourism and after that I've worked and lived in the south of France for nearly 4 years where I worked as a dancer on shows for tourists. Currently, I study English and Spanish for interpreters but am not sure if I will finish it...having some minor trouble with the Spanish grammar rules! I am single. I am crazy obsessed by music, theater and movies. Ever since I was a mini Tess, I used my dads stereo and records (vinyl that is) mostly Abba and Queen to dance to. I enjoy pretty much every kind of music apart from hardcore and R&B. Am a massive Take That fan, seen them in London last year, and met them a few times in the Netherlands they are so cool. it was through the Take That fans that I heard of Mika. He is rumoured to support their tour so I searched for his music. I also enjoy lots of French artists, Garou, Francis Cabrel, Michel Sardou and Jaques Brel. Scissor Sisters, Bon Jovi, The Beatles, BeeGees, Il Divo, George Michael, Björk, Massive Attack..the list is pretty much endless! Love movies with Alan Rickman in them in particular. And of course musicals, I did some semi professional shows and love the music. I have a small obsession with England, or actually, Britain. My best friend lives in London, I visit her as often as I can, love that country! Erm...(it's getting quit a story..sorry) I enjoy cooking (vegetarian though, don't eat meat..), reading (Harry Potter, John Irving, Mike Gayle, Jane Austen) travelling, medidation, painting and drawing and hanging out with my friends and fellow Take That fans. Wow...perhaps it was a bit too much info...lol oh yeah: and I luuuuuurrrrve Mika and his music!!!!
  20. Yeah, I'm gutted too...he doesn't have to do Amsterdam, but he could do say, 013 in Tilburg? Pretty please...
  21. I'm still hoping he will support Take That. I didn't like Beverly Knight (who supported TT on their last tour), I think Mika will make sure we will have a hell of a night when he is there too! Lots of TT fans are now crazy about Mika too because they've all searched for his songs. He might do LuLu's bit in Relight My Fire like Beverly did lol:naughty:
  22. Yeah, this is my fave too, I love that line. Love that song too. I guess it is my favourite song on the album even if it is very different from the rest of the songs.
  23. Hello all! My name's Tess, and I found my way here (can't remember exactly how..) as I was searching the web for Mika. I heard of Mika on http://www.totallytakethat.nl, a Dutch fansite for Take That fans where I read that Mika might support the band on their upcoming tour this winter. Of course I wanted to know who would support my favourite band of all time and so I got a hold of Grace Kelly. I loved that song and soon found the album which I love too! I am 23 years old (Mika is 4 days older than me:wink2:) and live in The Netherlands. I study English and Spanish for interpreters and am in my second year. As I've mentioned, I am a huge Take That fan, they are of big influence in my life and I love them to bits. Well, I hope to chat with you on Mika and hope that he will visit my little country very soon!!! Cheers, Tess
