  1. I'm left handed... "The left side of the brain controls the right hand side of the body, therefore only left handers are in their right minds"
  2. So do I. Curiosity got the better of me and I sent a friend request. Nothing back as yet though.
  3. Yep, mine did exactly the same thing. I'm coming off AOL when my contract runs out.
  4. Found a singer through Myspace and went to his album launch. On the way to the venue, I heard someone shout my name. The singer recognised me! Surely it shoud be the other way round?!
  5. Brother - 'Are we having a prayer meeting?' I had the second part of track 10 playing.
  6. Hey, thanks for this you lot. Like Andi, I thought it was just me a bit thick. Looks like it's not just us though. Jeffrey, it is a bit lame. It's like being given a lollipop and not being allowed to suck it! Hotdlp, let us know what you did. Thankyou. *sits patiently*
  7. Why thank you. Us Yorkshire biscuit folks must stick together. (sorry)
  8. Hi, OK, so not a Mika thing, more of a technical thing. Why can't I get the extra bits to play on the computer? It brings up the album cover and I click the link. Then I get a message up from AOL saying something about it not being compatible or memory. Something like that anyway. Next idea - take it to the neighbours. Bit further along, (he's not on AOL) this time I got a like a registration screen where I fill in my name, email, what tv I like etc, which I did. Then I download Java JVM as instructed, and restarted the computer. Once it started back up, it said JVM was sucessfully installed. Back the the beginning, load the CD, click the link and...nothing. Well a rectangle with a red cross in the top left corner. Anyone got any ideas what I'm doing wrong? I so want to see what I'm missing. Thanks. DB. P.S. Very close to doing this. ->
  9. I'll admit yeah, the Friday would have been better for me too. No having to get up early for work the following day, but hey, it's worth it.
  10. I'm going to this one as well.
  11. Woo-hoo I like my new home. Been watching the excellent video clips so I've not posted much as yet. Story of my name: A cop in Murder City called a suspect a discobiscuit, and I just thought it was funny. However since then, I've found out it was the street name for a hallucinogenic drug from the 70's/80's. Oops.
  12. I got this email as well. I had a bit of panic because my friend who is coming with me is the designated driver. Luckily she's still ok to come on the new date.
  13. Hi there, Never really know what to say on these intro things but here goes. OK, erm, first spotting of Mika is a good a place as any. The music channel on the freeview was playing away to itself quietly while I was working. I happened to glance up and see who I thought was the lead singer from a band I like. He has a distinctive appearance. Tall, thin and dark curly hair. You can see why I was mistaken! Anyhow I turned up the volume and that was it. Three minutes later I had to know who this was, where he came from and what he was about. That's about it really, oh, I'm going to the Leeds Uni gig in May and am very, very excited about it. Looking forward to chatting to you all. DB.
