  7. Just thought id let you know if you didn't that i suspect there will be an interview coming up in Vanity Fair, (not a magazine i read funnily enough) Me and my mate had arrived early in Newcastle on Saturday went for bite to eat and then thought, ahh well go for a drink in the union bar before the concert, only we didn't know where it was, We found the uni alright and then couldnt find the union, looking at a map we thought we worked it out, and then a Guy rather fashionably dressed came over and asked where the Union was, we obviously looked like students, so we took him to the place that we were heading. About 1/4 of a mile away we found ourselves in some deserted access road, not a likely venue for a Mika concert, ha ha, asking a passing student she very kindly took us to the union, which was of course, at the place we had started, if only we'd looked up we would have seen the big union building ha ha, Well the man, who we had found out was a gernalist from vanity fair coming to interview Mika just laughed at us, i would, if not beeing then jumped on by a tout have asked him to pass a message on to Mika but unfortunately by the time this ticket tout had left me alone the gernalist was long gone. Just a little story for you there, that made me chuckle when i thought about it, sorry if im a bit boring, ha ha, But you know now to expect him in vanity fair now tho. [currently listening to Dolly Parton :S]
  8. oh no i agree, id already read your post, i mean i really do agree, id be gutted if someone shot me down, im just saying that low can't compare to the high he will get from the response at his gigs.
  9. Don't you think it's amazing that a song can be written about certain emotions and a story if you will about in this case Mika, but when someone else listens to it in a different context it takes a completley different mood, and evokes completley different emotions. Ive just been reading the posts above and seeing what the songs are about and i mean i could have probably guessed most fo them as there sort of explained in the song, but if i listen to them they can take on a completley different meaning ok ill shut up now lol [currently listening to, Nothing]

  13. An interesting read, i bet Mika would be a great story teller, Well as we can see from his songs, but i can see him reeling off stories, it sounds like he's had lots of life experiences that have obviously brought him to, well what we see now ha ha, do i sound indepth there, i wasn't meaning it, lol [currently listening to queen]
  14. Hmmm, i like the song, dont get me wrong, but i do have to say im glad we got ring ring, it's not my favourite mika song. I like it tho, ha ha, dont stone me for saying something that could be construde as anti mika. [currently listening to Erase]

  19. He he, i started reading the first few posts and slkipped to the last few, hope i havent mist some amazing post in the middle. I live at uni, and bought my tickets a long time ago for the newcastle gig, and recently told my family back home that i was going (forgot to tell them over holiday) my mother was annoyed that she wasn't going, my dad said , that the chap whos sounds like mercury hes amazing him , (an acalade indeed from a very uneasily satisfied father, well he pretends anyway) my sister was impressed, and my brother angry at me so i think i have a family of fans back home. Ive also , found it very funny that waking up in the morning, i no longer have to put mika on in my room, as all my house have been turned on to mika by me and they all have it blasting out. Infact last night at a party we had, his album was the first CD on [Currently listening to Ring Ring]
  20. I think as a musician, i couldn't give a damn when i perform what some critic thinks, and mika, well mikas amazing, and if he wanted a real review hed just have to look on here, and see how his music has inspired, and infact, he doesnt need to look this far, When he's on that stage all he has to do is look down at the crowd, and well there is all the praise he needs, :0 i would take a guess that this man isn't as superficial to need praise from critics, he inspires and moves people, with songs he wrote about his own emotions, that would impress me enough [currently listening to Billy Brown]
  21. Ha ~Ha, not many men posted on here, Your all shallow you nasty woman, but i guess its lucky hes a cute guy or you'd all be missing out on the MIKA Music, and we wouldnt want that, Tho i guess if he wasn't as cute adn you weren't all on here, id be able to find my way around this forum a bit better, ha ha I have to say, that it wouldn't matter to me if he was a fat bottomed girl or well what he looks like, ha ha, Rob
