2008 - REPORTS, PICS, VIDEOS OF MIKA @ Westerpark - Amsterdam
Haeschen02 replied to Christine's topic in Concert Reviews
After having read all your comments and seen all your pictures I just wanted to say "hi!". I won't write a report as I'm not good at doing such things and everything has been said anyway . First of all I want to thank all the lovely people I met in the queue and in Babzz's house. I had so much fun with you (again) and like Blue said, chatting with you all is worth all the travelling for me . And thanks again to Rockingbabzz for having us at her house. That was just amazing . As far as the concert is concerned: I liked it . And I liked Sam Sparro. He is such a lovely guy. (Before I forget about it: Sam Sparro; 3th October; Brighton; anyone?). After the gig: rain! It seemed even colder than back in November. Oh btw, it was nice seeing the pictures from the aftershow thing. Now I at least know how it looked inside . I seriously hope that I wasn't too much of a pain in the ass as I tried to cheer my 3 fellow rejects up. I'm not good at comforting others so I start to make stupid jokes. If I annoyed you: Sorry! That's actually all from me. Thanks again to all the lovely people that made the days so special -
We did something else with waiting for the others and not Mika outside this time. It was almost as exciting . No seriously, I hope it doesn't become a rule that I have to cheer desperate fans up after every concert. That doesn't feel well . But it was a nice show though. Anyone interested in seeing Sam Sparro in October in Brighton with me?

Hey ladies! Got back from Amsterdam (Blue's place) this evening. I'm tired but I don't seem to get a cold. I can't be bothered to read the review thread about yesterday. I liked the show and especially Jack Sparro as support. And I had a great time waiting outside when everyone else was inside meeting Mika. What can I say? It was just a bad timing for following the natural needs after a looooong day . And it was cold. And wet. Anyway, it was nice seeing the ones who have been there again.

Hi everyone! I'll leave soon (after my class tonight) to get to Blue's place. I'll buy some beer for tomorrow and look if I can get some sweets. Any special wishes. Not that I'll have time left to see them . See you all tomorrow.

I haven't been on for a while. The term comes to an end and with it a lot of work. Furthermore I lost track on what happened in the Mika-verse and I wasn't really able to catch up again. Amy managed not to pee somewhere in the flat for about 1 1/2 days. I put some dry food in her bed in which she peed twice and she isn't allowed in the bedroom anymore. I also try to spend a bit more time around her again as I think she might have felt lonely. That's why we think about getting another cat. A kitten this time and not such a mental case like Amy .

I don't think I would have watched anything if Germany wasn't playing. I even kind of stopped watching when they were losing against Croatia. I did the laundry instead . I just can't see them lose. I think the match against Turkey will be really exciting tomorrow especially as the Turks tend to win in the last 5 minutes. And I hope that the fans will remain peaceful especially in Germany as there are many Turks living here.

Me too. And really surprised. They were doing so good... And I was actually looking forward to a German, Dutch final . The whole quarter finals were a big surprise and most of the matches really boring (until the end). So now we can look forward to the semi-finals. Yay!

http://www.livedome.com/de/konzerte/ You can still watch it here. And also a long interview. Now that I feel able to speak again after about two sleepless nights I want to give my impression of the gig. I mainly agree with Petra. The fans were awful. I was lucky that I had a good spot: front row right side. Unfortunately unable to see Dan as I had the bass boxes in front of me. The show was good and the Holloways were really great. I made some good videos. All in all about 1,8 gb. I'm too lazy to upload them though . I think I'll go to bed again. Have to be awake for the football match tonight .

I felt so sorry for Switzerland yesterday when I heard about the lost match and the injured player. That's really bad especially because you're the host country . I hope he'll get better soon although they said he won't be able to play again during the Euro . I hope you're able to enjoy the time anyway. At least its in your country and the atmosphere must be great. I still remember the summer 2006 when the World Cup was in Germany. It was amazing . Everyone was celebrating on the streets and enjoying themselves. I absolutely agree with you about this Ronaldo kid. He annoyed me like hell yesterday. Anyway, Germany is on tonight.

I don't like him either. I don't want to start explaining why I don't like him as I don't want to offend anyone in here . Am I the only one who supports Turkey in this match? I don't know why but I wish Turkey won . I'm usually on the outsiders side . But tomorrow.... I'll turn into a patriotic football girl

Can anyone of you help me? I went to another Bon Jovi show last night. With my camera. And my batteries . I made some videos. But now they don't look the way they should. I hold the camera wrong. Is there a way/programme to turn the videos so that I don't have to turn my laptop? I hope you understand my problem.

What happened? Looks as if I missed something important? Again? Mika posted? Official ? Suzy: Happy belated birthday. When exactly was it ? Looks like you had an awesome day . Still I'll send you some flowers :flowers2: Hm, am I the only one who is sick of being 25 and even more afraid of turning 26 in a couple of days? I guess I still have to reach the age where I can appreciate my "youth"
