  1. thank you. i forgot to write germany though, it seems to be the same website for all countries. well, maybe they see from my ip address that it's about the german store. i find it interesting that now you can buy a bad cover version and karaoke version of celebrate on german amazon and itunes (http://www.amazon.de/Celebrate-Tribute-Mika-Pharrell-Williams/dp/B008KHOCWW/ref=sr_1_5?ie=UTF8&qid=1342547033&sr=8-5), but still not the original song.
  2. i think @julia2a tweeted something about dancing on stage dressed as charlie chaplin? someone who speaks french please translate her tweets for us? and tiibet wrote she has lost her ticket and is going to dance with julia... so if i get it right, they're going to be on stage?
  3. thanks girls! clara, the connectors are the small plastic things you usually use to connect glowsticks to a bracelet or necklace. if you buy glowsticks, the connectors are in the same package. the pencil/stick gives the heart stability, so the 2 sides don't collapse into the middle. you can also use one of those sticks that are for flowers, if you know what i mean? see picture below. i just tried with small connectors and it works as well - just the pressure on the tape is a bit bigger since the small connectors can't bend outside. but if the tape is fixed properly,it's ok. here are some more pictures, in the light and in the dark of the hearts and of the glasses (they arrived today! ). heart on a flower stick: glasses in the daylight and in the dark: edit: tina just had the idea that you could also use chopsticks (those for chinese food ) instead of a pencil. :-)
  4. thanks for the fb post lucrezia! as for the glowstick colours, of course it doesnt have to be red. but i guess it would make sense if both halfs of the heart have the same colour. and in theory i guess it's possible to tape the glowsticks directly to the pencil without connectors. problem is just that you can only do that shortly before the gig, as the glowsticks will start glowing if you bend them, and they only glow a limited time. i'm not home atm but will try out and post more things tonight, for example if it also works with the small connectors (i used the big ones this morning, as you can see in the pic).
  5. alright, finally i found a way how to make a glowing heart out of 2 glowsticks. you'll need 2 glowsticks, 4 glowstick connectors, adhesive tape, and a solid stick of about 10-12 cm length minimum (you can just take a normal pen / pencil). tape the connectors to the stick (2 on the one end, 2 on the other), and if you add the glowsticks, here's what you get: make sure you use enough tape, best is if you use a separate strip of tape for each of the connectors. i'll bring 100 glowsticks and some tape, but if more people would bring glowsticks (and tape, and spare connectors if you have some left from old glowstick packs) and maybe if someone posts it also on the italian forum, we could get a significant amount of glowing hearts in the crowd for HE/TOOL, as it's easy to build when we're there, just with a pen that people might have in their bag. what do you think? btw, the other idea i had, what would you think of some confetti throwing for celebrate? it's not a new idea, but it's a new song.
  6. t4p! i think the reason why it's hard to understand some bits is the background music, and also i have problems understanding them if they talk at the same time. xD the sound quality is fine though, and i could understand most of it. :-) love what he says about lovebox but wait, why only from the 2nd song, so that means for the 1st song he thought we were half-interested, faded middle-aged people who know only 1 song?!
  7. ok for you two sorry, i have maximum 1 pair left, if tina gets mariposa's glasses. but maybe you can find an italian website where you can order them? maybe it's even cheaper there... just search for glowstick heart glasses or glowing heart glasses (whatever that means in italian )... you can have glowsticks from me if you want. updated (and final) list, 21 glasses for: - sabine - cassilda (4x) - we are golden (2x) - akasaka909 - wearestrong! - dutch annie - elesh! - kanni (2x) - tina78 (or might get mariposa's spare) - tiibet (2x) - faballa - lucrezia - francina miketta - fralovesmika - crick! (sarina, if tina gets mariposa's spare)
  8. ok. updated list, those who reserved a pair of the 21 glasses are: - sabine - cassilda (4x) - we are golden (2x) - akasaka909 - wearestrong! - dutch annie - elesh! - kanni (2x) - tina78 (or might get mariposa's spare) - tiibet (2x) - faballa - lucrezia - francina miketta so there are still 2 or 3 left now.
  9. ok. oh btw, i've talked on FB with a few people and we thought it'd be great to wear the glasses / hold up other glowing hearts for happy ending (especially the little bit of love part), and for the origin of love. would that be ok for everyone?
  10. fyi, i just ordered 20 pairs of the heart-shaped glowstick glasses, and 100 glowsticks. those who i have on my list who want glasses are: - cassilda (4x) - we are golden (2x) - akasaka909 - wearestrong! - dutch annie - elesh! - kanni (2x) - tina78 (or might get mariposa's spare) and sabine, but i have kept a spare for you from the london glasses. so i'll have 7-8 glasses left, if anyone else is interested.
  11. aww, that's great! t4p! edit: on the blueballs facebook site i just found the info, that the second act, ren harvieu will be on *before* mika. so ren harvieu should start at 20:30 and mika at 22:00. official end of the show is 00:00 (though i don't think he'll play 2 hours )
  12. i really wish i was in new york now! only because of the 40$ of course.
  13. you're looking for flights to france already? 2000 is not that small - if it wasn't france. should be interesting though what venues it'll be in germany then, if they're only 1000 or less, that'd be awesome!
  14. yeah, we already heard talk about tourdates in usa and germany, so it might indeed be already in autumn! i can handle it, but i can't afford it atm! damn!
  15. dunno where to post this... i just saw someone posting on twitter with dates for french gigs in november, seems the info comes from this website: http://www.ticketnet.fr/Resultat?ipSearch=mika 15.11. lyon 19.11. toulouse hope they'll start announcing all the dates for the "real" tour soon then!
  16. i noticed it, but it was clear to me that he'd do a world tour when his album is released, and "after september" can mean anything from october 2012 to 2014 or whenever, so i'll wait with cheering until we get the tourdates. but of course it's fab for you that he mentions denmark in particular.
  17. nah, it's ida falk, and they forgot the second line and wrote T instead of F. provided that the interview is transcribed and translated correctly, i love not only *that* but also *how* he addresses the topic... "i don't think that my fans would be surprised..." - it implies that we know it and stand behind him, and he knows this, and him and us are like a secret community who have known it all along and not been asking stupid questions like the press. ok he probably didn't have this in mind when saying the sentence, but the feeling i get from it is along those lines, and so for several reasons i'm all over this interview. i also have my doubts about some parts though, like the timing, and then i remember he said somewhere that he broke hearts (and not that he had his heart broken)... but maybe it was both, he got his heart broken and then he broke some? and then, some of his old interviews that don't match to this one might also have been gertrude stories. whatever, i wish we'd get it as a video interview, i'd love to hear exactly what he said! i'm curious whether he'll be that open in future interviews as well, or if he *intends* to keep still a little bit room for interpretation open for those girls who prefer living in a dreamland and hoping they'll marry him some day.
  18. aww, thank you! i love reading details about the aftershow m+g's, he's always so sweet! interesting that he doesn't know if the world tour is gonna start in october - i guess that if it did, he would know?! so it's probably a "no".
  19. aww! what else did he say? i read in the reports that he stayed quite a while, but nothing about what you all talked with him about? yeah, he also recorded a message for his italian fans - they've both been posted on the "track by track" thread.
  20. i even know how such a thing works... it's a "little bit" bigger than the ones i've handled though. i wish i was good enough at sound engineering to work for mika! but i could do her "job" of sitting next to him, looking pretty and doing nothing while he's talking into the camera.
  21. um, i guess? *confused* i definitely agree with the bolded part, and i also said something similar at the beginning of my first post re. the topic. in any case, i think it'd be easier for us to see what he really meant if it was a video interview, or if at least we knew exactly what the question/s was/were.
  22. yeah, switzerland IS expensive... but fuel has always been very expensive in italy, dunno why, maybe high taxes? of course the prices can change, also the currency exchange CHF-Euro, and for diesel it's not as significant as for normal fuel (diesel is "only" 0,10€ more expensive in italy). if you want, you can check on this website: http://www.adac.de/infotestrat/tanken-kraftstoffe-und-antrieb/kraftstoffpreise/tanken-im-ausland/default.aspx - if you choose the country in the dropdown menu, they show the prices for diesel, and fuel with 95 and 98 octane, in the local currency and converted in euro. i found similar prices on other websites as well, so i guess they're realistic.
