  1. here are my photos: http://s778.photobucket.com/albums/yy68/mikafanclub_de/2010%2005%2008%20Luxemburg/ - and some of my faves:
  2. just finished uploading my videos: Big Girl: SITM trumpet solo: OMS: death march: shooting scene: talk (including band intro and thanking his followers) & Happy Ending: talk & La Solitude: bowing to the crowd at the end of Lollipop (i LOVE how happy he looks there, aww! ): part of kick ass: bits+pieces (astronaut intro, talk before sitm, dr john mika sliding down the platform on his knees, crowd chanting oh-ohoh-ohoh before biotg, mika with a rose during biotg, end of WAG with M throwing the snow on us): nope sorry, that's the only shirtless one. better one good one than many bad ones, huh? shirtless time is limited, unfortunately...
  3. eyes? oh yes, he has eyes too! :lmao: scnr. yup, i'm quite proud of that pic, it's not just another shirtless pic, but i also totally love his face expression and posture in this one. but, um, yes, i love his abs too. he's just the perfect model!
  4. i've had this theory for a while already that mika is the weather god. made this pic last year in december: will start uploading my pix+vids during the day.
  5. to relive the m+g, here's the video of it! it's about 3 minutes, i filmed him going along the line from a few people before me until a few people after me. ok off to bed now, night everyone.
  6. what do you expect me to do, join your fangurling?? i'm only fangurling about mika. and don't say i ignore you, just because you didn't get my attention before the gig - you were several meters away from me, FFS! you could write little notes the next time, and pass them on to me, like it was at school... btw, forgot to mention something else... all the front row mfcers drew hearts on the palms of their hands with an uv pen, dunno if mika saw it, but it looked really fab in the uv light! i had that pen with me, and talked with tiibet about what we could draw on our hands or arms, and she came up with the idea for the hearts. loved that! started the uploads for the videos i've already converted on the train, but that's all i'm gonna do today - more vids+pix tomorrow! dunno if i'll wait for the uploads to finish or go straight to bed and just let the computer run. in any case, you can see the vids on the YT account mellody76. i'm uploading 1 from amsterdam and 4 from luxemburg.
  7. should i be quiet too? tell that to mika! HE was the one who intensly looked+smiled at me again although it wasn't my turn anymore, how can you blame me for forgetting everything else when he does that?! and apart from that, you say you haven't read the thread, but i posted before that in amsterdam mika talked to tiibet while he was signing for me, so ha! it's not just me, he does that all the time! actually i generally think it's a nice thing when he talks with several people at the same time instead of JUST one by one - those sometimes become the best conversations with him, because he stays around the same place for a longer time, and well, it really IS a conversation then, instead of just the 2 sentences that you usually have with him. was like that in milan, when i asked him about the magic numbers, for example.
  8. tiibet, like i just wrote you per pm, by what i wrote i just meant you said that he was talking to me while signing for you, not that you said i ruined your mika moment, of course you didn't say that. but i just noticed in the video that in amsterdam he was talking to you while signing for me, so that's ok i guess. bienie, fab that you filmed everything! i especially want that teddy bear thing, that was so funny! and the beginning of, hm, was it love today? or grace kelly? where he made some niiiice hip moves! someone threw a teddy bear on stage, and mika made some funny comments about it. i didn't understand much, just saw his funny face expressions, and i think at one point he asked sth like "am i 3 years old?!" (and i shouted "oui!", think he even might've heard that, as he turned towards the crowd again and giggled ) anyway, then he went to cherisse and tried to stuff the teddy bear into her hair, lol! it stuck there for a moment until she moved her head and it fell off. got a picture of it, but would love to see it on video again. ;-) on the train home now, with the usual bad internet connection. currently watching my videos, and then will start converting them so i can quickly start uploading tomorrow (or maybe tonight... but judging from how tired i feel right now, i won't be able to do anything apart from falling into my bed when i get home).
  9. yup, the video is a bit dark, but i have it. :wink2: am still on the train home, no good internet connection, but will upload it tomorrow. :wink2:

  10. part 3 the m+g... think it was bout 50-80 people waiting, he went rather quickly along the line, for the most part just writing his signature, but sometimes stopping for a quick chat - maybe about presents? just noticed that at the beginning of the queue he still went more slowly, but then became faster towards the end. we were standing quite at the end. before me it was statue of liberty's turn, she thanked him for the tour, and since that's about what i wanted to tell him too, i just said "yeah that's what i wanted to say too", while he signed my drumstick - but he didn't react to that, but instead said sth like that my costume from yesterday was gone... arrgh, why did i listen to everyone and wore the blue cape instead?! it was a choice for me between the blue cape, and star in my face, and the colourful/flowery shirt from yesterday, with the tree necklace again and i'd have made a butterfly out of sequins around my eyes. as i couldn' t decide, i asked for the opinion of several of my friends in the queue, and they all said i should wear the blue cape, since i'd worn the other thing yesterday, so that's whad i did. and what did mika do? moan about the missing wonderland costume!! so i said that it was just for the alice in wonderland theme, and also wanted to say, or said (don't remember if i just thought it, or said it... *g*) that that's what everyone had told me to do when i asked them. *g* don't even know what he liked so much about my amsterdam costume, he got to see only half of it! at the gig just from the belly upwards, and outside i was wearing my jacket over it. the shirt i've been wearing to many other gigs before, those flower thingies weren't really special, just the tree and the make-up were lots of work and the most special thing about it, but he talked about my whole costume, not just the makeup and the tree. don't even know whether he saw the fake grass thingies around my feet. ;-p anyway, my blue cape/costume was a lot more work than the wonderland costume, and it's actually my personal fave of all my costumes i've been wearing to mika gigs, but he seems to like the wonderland one more. sigh. anyway, back to the luxemburg m+g, he was already moving further down the line, but went back quickly because mrs deer first had asked him to sign unofficial posters, which he didn't do, so then she got out the cd from her bag for him to sign instead while he kept on signing for others, and he quickly came back to sign her cd. anyway i had thought my mika moment was over, but at some point he looked me directly in the eyes again with his intense look and smiled really sweetly, so i started talking again and fear i ruined tiibet's mika moment with that! anyway that's what she told me afterwards, that it was while he was signing to her - tiibet, really sorry again, i just forgot everything around when he looked at me like that! i really gotta go to the end of the line the next time! anyway, i told him sth like that it was the best last gig of this tour for me that i could think of (meaning that it was a perfect ending of the tour for me), and he said thank you, and that i've been to a LOT of gigs - dunno maybe he understood what i said the way that it was the best gig of the tour for me, but that's not really what i meant (still have to think about which one was my fave... well ok maybe this one was, dunno... ). then i said sth like, yeah, and now i first have to get some money before i can go to more, which made him giggle. anyway, it WAS the perfect ending of this tour for me, and it was definitely my fave gig of the 4 arena ones i've seen - and i'm so happy now, on cloud 9 about yesterday, but at the same time sad that the imaginarium tour is over for me... but full of such beautiful memories, of all the wonderful moments during the shows and at the m+gs, meeting so many lovely people, and just having the time of my life. it makes me go all teary eyed (of joy) to think of it all. thanx so much to all of my mfc friends, without you guys this tour would've been not nearly as much fun as it was for me! and of course thanx to mika and his whole team for this unforgettable time. off now to do some sightseeing in luxemburg, after i've used up the 30 minutes internet time i have here (stupid hostel charges for internet!). will be back in germany tonight - but might post my pix+vids just tomorrow, as i'm still v. tired and only arrive home around midnight, guess all i'll be able to do then will be to sleep... but maybe i can prepare a bit on the train already that i can quickly upload tonight, will see. ;-)
  11. part 2 it was so beautiful to hear "la solitude" live! it's such a beautiful song and he uses the low parts of his voice in it, i love that. gave me goosebumps and a warm fuzzy feeling inside. and my fave part of toyboy, the talking before the song, wasn't missing either, he talked for quite a while before singing la solitude. the song was without the accordeon of course, as the french support act wasn't there anymore... i loved that accordeon music to it from the videos i've seen, but i didn't miss it yesterday, it was just as beautiful without it. like in amsterdam, you could tell that mika was tired and that his voice wasn't at its best (at one point during happy ending it cracked and he made the crowd sing instead ), but unlike amsterdam he still gave 200% yesterday (in amsterdam i think it was just about 150% ). the crowd kept cheering and chanting "oh-ohoh-ohoh" all the time, and mika loved it. in the end when they bowed to the crowd, he looked very moved, and so so happy! he threw his drumstick to me during lollipop, finally i got one, yay! had been hoping for that since 2007, only had one of cherisse so far. and before he left the stage at the end of WAG, he filled his hat with fake snow, then put it on his head with the snow inside, came to the front with his suitcase, like usually, and then lifted off the hat and emptied it over the crowd - and as he was standing right in front of me, i got the most part of it - AGAIN, arrgh! wonder if he remembered hanover - i certainly did, lol! btw, for dark angel: grey. first thought it was black because of that microphone belt, but no, it was grey. and i have one really fantastic shirtless pic from the astronaut intro, the 'gasmics are gonna love that! oh, and mariposa, bubblespurry, cath and johnny06 were on stage. and mika interacted LOTS with bubblespurry during lollipop, so funny, lol! but not just with him, at the beginning he danced for quite a while with the bride, and then he pulled the elephant (dunno who that was?) at its... um... nose? what's that elephant nose called in english? lol! anyway, he pulled the elephant towards the center of the stage. (tbc with part 3, the m+g)
  12. :wub2: aww, this definitely was one of my fave gigs! i was so worried all day because around noon some had talked with john and a security guy, and they said that the under 18s would get an extra section in the venue, they just hadn't decided yet whether in the front or at the back. finally about 20 mins before we were let in, we got to know that it'd all be ok for us, no extra section. anna got on the walkie talkie with john and asked him about it, and he said sth like no worries - don't remember exactly, i think someone else heard what he said, anyway we were all very very relieved to hear that! from what we heard, we were just lucky because it was sold out, so they had no space for an extra section. anyway, with my number 14 i got a front row place directly in the center, where the little extra podium of the stage is - slightly on the right from the camera. no idea why everyone else went to the left instead of standing at this center spot - i had planned to go more to the left too, because of the piano and ida, but decided differently when i saw that the center space was still available. so all in all, it was totally worth it that i didn't get any sleep the night before! i think that the fave gig thing might also have to do with the place where i'm standing - on the other 3 gigs of the arena tour i didn't have such a fantastic spot... it's just so intense when the stage (the podium thingie part) is only about 1m away... and when it all is small enough (and my spot is good enough) so i can't just see mika, but also "feel" him - like, see his face expressions and the look in his eyes, and not just on the videoscreen but really right in front of me. but it wasn't just that, but also the gig itself. mika, the band and the crowd were on fire, M almost treated it like it was the last night of the tour, because it would've been, hadn't it been for the ash cloud. he said something like that during the show too - i didn't get the exact words (french...), but it was something along the lines of what i just wrote. him and the band had lots of fun on stage, joking around & stuff... i remember one particular bit, when mika "shot" jimmy during LT, jimmy blew a fountain of fake snow out of his mouth while falling to the floor - no idea when he stuffed that into his mouth, but it looked hilarious, and made mika crack up! i understood surprisingly much of his french this time, maybe because i could see his face while he talked, or maybe the acoustic was just better than in paris, no idea. and some bits he said in luxembourgish as well (the usual bits he says at every gig), i understood those bits lots better than the french, as it's somewhat similar to german - and as it was hard for him to speak it, he spoke very slowly+clearly. 2 times he even said a few words in english, because he wanted his band to understand it. like, that they don't understand the lyrics of "la solitude", but just like the melody. me too. anyway in paris it had felt like he was a different person from the mika i know from other gigs, because he spoke this different language that i didn't understand. but yesterday i didn't have that feeling, although i wish he had said some bits in english too. before happy ending he thanked everyone, and especially mentioned us at the front who had been following him to so many gigs, and pointed along the front row. i understood about what he said, and got it on video too, but i'll leave the literal translation to someone who understands french. it was so sweet of him to thank us especially! (to be continued... written it all offline as i just have 30 minutes of internet, and copying it here now in 3 parts...)
  13. quick update from the queue, are at about no. 70, i got no. 14, arrived at about 10:15. didn't get any sleep last night, couldn't sleep in the car and decided not to sleep in the hostel as we only arrived there at 8, and i want a good place today after the amsterdam experience yesterday. tried to sleep a bit in the queue, but didn't work that well. there are some rumours though about an extra section for kids under 18, they just haven't decided yet whether they'll do that in front of us or at the back... i REALLY hope the latter, don't wanna queue all day to be behind a bunch of people just because they're under 18! if it was kids under 1,50m or so, i could understand it better - but they'd be with their parents anyway and probably wouldn't be separated from them. i don't get the sense of this, it works fine at every other venue without this too! really hope they won't ruin it for us!
  14. very quick report from yesterday, think you have enough mfcers reporting bout the details, so just quickly my personal impressions... my train arrived 1 hour late, so i ended up being no. 54, which after a looong cold queuing day in the wind+rain left me a place pretty much at the side, where imma was, in front of the speakers. dunno if it was because of that far-off place or generally, but i had expected more from amsterdam, because everyone had said that it'd be such a fantastic atmosphere always in amsterdam... it was a good gig, which started off slowly and got more enthusiastic towards the end. but it wasn't one of the best gigs i've been to. anyway regarding the show. regarding the mfc meetup, it was fantastic to meet everyone (again), and even more fantastic to see all those beautiful costumes! freddie looked so cool with his green contact lenses! and loved it when mika got freddie+ingie up on stage! and several on stage dancing the ka choreography, hope someone videoed that. i had made a poster saying "happy un-birthday" and held it up during the show - first imma saw it and laughed, later mika saw it too and giggled, aw! loved the m+g, i asked mika to sign my tree-necklace, thought he'd sign it on the back, as there was paper, and on the front it was felt, which is hard to write on... so i held up the back to sign, but he decided to sign it on the front, inside of the little heart. and then he also said that he liked my costume. you could tell that he was tired, but of course he was sweet as always! here's one of the grouppics we took after the show, will post the rest when i'm back home (sunday night or monday).
  15. my work of the last 2 days: my "wonderland" necklace for the amsterdam gig! mika's tree was just too tempting for that dresscode, with the clock and the teacups and the tiger(cat)... um, and yes, i guess i'll be "wonderland" after all.
  16. sorry bout your grandpa. but i understand your decision to still come, it's a good distraction from the sadness. tweedledee+tweedledum (nessa+bächlein) will also only arrive around 5 or 6, so you won't be the only one dressed up in the back. and if you wanna wait for mika after the gig, you can join us all in our costumes.
  17. i think it's not easy to choose for mrs p, she would love to give everyone a chance, but it's just not possible when there's so many volunteers. so the first ones who have to go are the ones who have already done it before - promised or not. was the same in paris. i had been promised by her and john the day before that i could do it on my bday, but then she suddenly said, you've done it twice, you can't do it again, it would be unfair towards those who've never done it. she's right with that, but since i expect people to keep to their word and since it was my bday, i didn't give up that quickly, and in the end i was lucky that 2 others of the "chosen" ones had done it before too (think it might've been yasmine who told mrs p about that...), otherwise i bet she would've kicked me out again. i still think it's fab that they give fans the chance to do this, and i'm happy and thankful that i got to do it 3 times.
  18. they're only strict if they have enough/too many volunteers... but that'll probably the case in amsterdam, i guess. oh, and: :woot_jump:
  19. you can join nessa & rauschendes_bächlein (tweedledee & tweedledum), they'll only arrive at 5 or 6 too because they only can leave after school on friday. but happy to hear that you'll be able to make it at all!
  20. if the amsterdam weather is like in munich today (and that's what the weather forecast says), i definitely wouldn't recommend a summer coat. might be ok for 1 hour outside, but not for a whole afternoon. anyway, it sounded like that venue has a foyer, so maybe they can let the numbered people inside that foyer earlier, so we won't have to be in the cold+rain until the doors open. doesn't matter if you wanna wait for mika afterwards, then you'll have all the time in the world to pick up your coat! it has become even later meanwhile til he comes out, paris was 2 am, and i think some other french gigs also 1 am...
  21. dunno if that's the most current list, but it's one i found anyway: http://www.mikafanclub.com/forums/showthread.php?p=2947831#post2947831 what i always do is take an empty plastic bag with me, stuff everything in there and put it between my feet.
