  1. cool, thanx for that! what site is it, the japanese mikasounds website? did he write that in english or japanese?
  2. oh that store sounds fab! http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tokyu_Hands - but there seems to be more than one in tokyo, how do you know mika was at the same one as you?
  3. mika tweeted in japanese (well, i think it's japanese, can't read it ) 東京についたよ!東急ハンズでいっぱいかいものをした!東京は最高だね!! 14 minutes ago from Tweetie google translator tells me: I went to Tokyo! Of a depot filled with the shopping!Tokyo're the best!! guess someone who knows japanese can give a better translation but i suppose it means that he found something nice on his shopping trip. edit: bluesky translated it on twitter: @mikasounds said he has arrived in Tokyo, bought lots of stuff at Tokyu Hands shop & Tokyo is amazing isn't it! thanx bs! makes a lot more sense than the google thing.
  4. isn't that this cupcake-outfit that he's wearing at other times in the video? omg he's not just supermika but also spidermika! haha, that pic made me lol!! i don't like the pdp somersault one though, it looks like he's about to break his neck!
  5. there you have it, some ppl understand it as hints, others don't, and no one knows what mika really means. i had been wondering about the jonas brothers tweet as well, whether it was "why do they get that and i don't?" or "those jonas brothers fans are such annoying stalkers!". or maybe he just found it funny and wanted to comment on it. some understand his "am boarding the plane" tweets as hints to meet him at the airport, others don't. me personally, i'm a very direct person and have a hard time understanding hints, especially from someone i don't know. so if i'm unsure, i won't understand it as a hint - in either way. i won't understand his plane tweets as a hint to go to the airport, but i also wouldn't have understood the hint that you mentioned suzy, about him wanting to get some rest for the letterman show. ok maybe i would've understood it in the context - late evening, his face expression... whether he's generally chatty with the fans or not. but i'm trying not to interpret too much. edit: just saw debs post, yup, just my point.
  6. we should tweet it to mika the next time he comes on. "mika, you like asia so much that you started doing somersaults on stage?!" - mika: "i did? *tries to remember*"
  7. oh stop it! - after seeing what he can do to his foot with a normal jump, i'd be in constant fear of him breaking his neck if he started somersaulting!
  8. shock shock me! wonka!! ya did a good job on photoshopping that, took me a moment to realize that it's fake!
  9. here you go, the travelodge is in the lower left corner (A), victoria station is the tube/train sign in the upper right corner. i think there might be a direct underground connection between the 2, but no idea how early in the morning it's running... so yeah, maybe a taxi... ok those offers... the 19 pounds room is only from sunday til monday? as soon as i enter more than one day, it keeps telling me 52 pounds per night! stupid website! will pm you.
  10. oh and btw, that other video of the photoshoot in london... omg i want that job of the woman who keeps fluffing up mika's hair! my dream-job, "mika's hair fluffer"
  11. thanx for the video! for how many songs did he wear the korean outfit?
  12. thanx for that, i had only seen one of all those videos so far! guess i'm a bit behind on everything, can't keep up with his busy schedule, lol! wow, he looks really glamourous with that straightened hair! i almost didn't recognize him at first in that pic on the first post! could imagine him going to the opera or a fancy ball like that. but, and don't kill me for saying this, he reminds me a lot of robbie williams in that pic:
  13. too not-traditional i'd say... do you have a pic of what that would look like? ah, that looks more like i'd imagine.
  14. does anyone know what he means by traditional tassels? i didn't know the word and when i looked it up found this: but what are those traditional korean tassels in particular?
  15. just booked my flight. now i need a place to stay... where do you find those 19 pounds rooms? on the travelodge website it tells me 52 pounds per night... is anyone of those with a spare place in their room staying from sat-tues? i found a hostel for about 15 pounds per night (per person), but it would be more fun to stay at the "mfc hotel" of course, especially since it's even cheaper if it's 19 pounds per ROOM!
  16. ah interesting, in german it's called "eierlikör", and leo.org gives me the translation advocaat for it. but guess it's a brand name, isn't it? here the most popular one is verpoorten, guess that's also dutch. as i said before, i love the aprés-ski-drink hot advocaat with whipped cream, not for old ladies at all, lol! but i always quite liked it, got a little sip every year at new year's eve when i was a child, and i loved it! much more than the champagne that the grown-ups in my family drank. yeah, as violet said, we have that too... but i prefer feuerzangenbowle, it's quite similar but i prefer the taste and find it funny that it burns: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Feuerzangenbowle
  17. ooh, only just seen it, you only notice when you look closely but my photoshop "art" made it into your siggy, yay! but tomatos are good and healthy, much better than tires anyway! tomato! not tire!! i have proof!
  18. don't know about the brits, but i've never tried eggnog... don't think we have it here, we only have advocaat, but my online research tells me that it's not the same as eggnog. and it's not typical for christmas in germany either... but last year on my skiing holiday in italy i've tried "vov", which basically is hot advocaat with whipped cream, and that was soo delicious! i can't imagine him doing an album full of covers, or even just mainly consisting of covers. i just hope he sings 1-2 different xmas songs on the radio every year, so in a few years we can put together our very own mika xmas album.
  19. *is eating tangerine and apple with cinnamon, sniffing clove and listening to let it snow while wondering how romantic the "romantic as a barstool" really is, when he sings songs like this and has a fireplace in his flat* i love christmas!
  20. it's "kiss goodnight", not "say goodnight" at least in mika's version, but think in the original song as well.
