This is my favourite Mika song...and I think it will always be, because I feel something deeply touching my soul everytime I listen to it

and I know it may sound a nonsense, but sometimes I MUST skip it when I put on my Mika-compilation (made by me for my car, it's an unique piece ) because it makes me all so happy and sad and excited and depressed......

Other thoughts...

 

Have you ever been with someone while they have an epileptic fit? A colleague of mine had one in the bus this morning, so I watched her carefully to make sure she doesn't fall. Thankfully she didn't convulse or pee on herself. Then I took the bus to come back home and she had an other one! She was not responding for more than 15 minutes! (She doesn't past out but she's like not there) This freaks me out! There's nothing that I can do but make sure she's safe! I hope she won't have an other one on the bus while alone.

People who suffers from epilessy (dunno the right spelling, sorry) use to have more than this kind of attaks everyday...no one can do anything but avoid them a fall or to hurt themselves. But usually they take medicines to avoid stronger epileptic fits.

It's such a difficult situation...they have to risk a lot when they're alone

t1: did you know that the 90% of the people has at least once in their life and epileptic fit? someone doesn't even notice them because they're too light

It's normal, maybe because an illness...sometimes the reason remains unknown

But if this happens frequently it is a pathology that can be dued to many reasons...neurophsiological of course (as alcool abuse that kills our neurons! stop drinking now!!! )

I'm not so sure, but I'll try to do my best...Yeah I'd love to get my degree asap so that I can just leave that darn faculty and never to see it again! (It's not really pleasent when you study something you don't like)

The reason to close it was officially that things that were said in there were perceived by some people like some sort of bullying against Mika (what I am sure they were not). So if that was bullying, how should we call it when people tag him with expressions I mentioned before?

I personally really don't think this thread had to be closed. It was not the brightest idea to start it though. But nobody intended to insult Mika by what was written in there. The opposite is the case: We just tried to let this weird and pointless rhetorical question (which was obviously meant as a joke from the very beginning) look as ridiculous as possible because that's what it is: ridiculous and NOT TO BE TAKEN SERIOUSLY ENOUGH to close the thread.

 

What makes me worry FAR more at the moment is people in here calling Mika names like 'bastard' and 'bloody asshole'.

Mm, I think the decision to close it is a very serious thing. People really have been on edge lately and I don't think there's any one thing we can track it down to, except maybe it's just infectious? Like, how women who live together for so long start coinciding with each other's timing every month? Or when people know each other long enough, they start picking up each other's habits?

 

Maybe since we're on here together a lot of the time, if one of us gets mad, distressed, or unhappy, it's a chain reaction born out of synchronization with one another. An odd theory, probably not even close to plausible, but this is a thoughts thread, so I voiced it...

 

 

Back to the topic at hand! I don't bother opening threads that don't interest me. And that one didn't. Having read it owing to Eir a few posts back, I kind of figure it's an unnecessary thread from the point of view that it could potentially stir even more bad blood than what's already in the air right now and that it doesn't have any especially moving content but it's costing the forum money to run- which is yet another topic that's been boiling over the boards lately.

 

We need some good news, y'know? Something big enough, like Mika getting better or something of that cheering nature, to get us all back to being happy, caring, and cooperative with everyone's differences.
