I am one of the Lollipop Trio: we are two guys and a girl, I was the boy with glasses just behind you...

I recorded the concert and watched it two or three times... it's so wonderful to relive that magic night... and if you watch carefully, you'll see my lollipop moving in the air (just at the beginning of Lollipop, obviously)!

It will be great to live again that thrilling experience!

:thumb_yello: And let me tell you... I've seen Mika live, and, IMO, he has the same strong, wonderful stage presence of Annie... my fingers are crossed...

Just read this (taken from eurythmics.me.uk): Current UK No. 1 singer, Mika shares the same vocal coach as Annie. CHART TOPPER Mika has been compared to Freddie Mercury but the singer says it's Annie Lennox who has been a massive influence on his career. And the Beirut-born singer, who crashed into the top of the charts last week with Grace Kelly, reckons he and Annie would form the perfect duet. Mika, 23, was recently told off by a sound engineer for sounding too Scottish when recording the single and his album, and now he's confessed it's Annie who is his ideal singing mate. He said: "Annie's voice is amazing. I can sing in the same register as her. "If we both sing in the same key it's really cool. She is one of my favourite vocalists ever and is so expressive." I'm a huge, huge fan of Annie, and I REALLY hope they'll do a duet! I think Annie is the best female singer alive, and I think she and Mika would sing the perfect duet! (BTW: I don't even consider the idea of Mika singing along with Madonna... )

Hi Robertina, on Italian paper La Repubblica (today edition), you'll find a review of the concert, but now I don't have time to transcript & translate it ... It also says that the Alcatraz concert will be broadcasted on AllMusic Tv on May 7!!!

Never mind, I'm happy you gave it to him... Too bad we went away before the signing, but at least we had a very good sight during the concert...

It was the one set in the London zoo? I saw it on Youtube, and it was pretty funny!

I was at the concert with my two friends Ilaria (*illy*) and Ale. We were very close to the stage, behind Avoca and near to Robertina and her sons (I was the guy with glasses, holding the big lollipop! ). The show was amazing, now I've got a sore throat because of my non-stop singing... Unfortunately, after the show, we went away too soon and missed the chance to see him... But I gave our lollipop to another girl (she was near Avoca but I don't know her name, sorry!), and maybe Mika got it! As I said, the show was amazing, and I tried to take some photos, but they are horrible, I'm unsure about posting them here...
