I think that supports my theory. If she were just a random actress, she'd be at all the gigs. I think something's going on there... I mean, she's not really cute in a lollipop girl way either - and that's what you'd look for if she were cast. Its odd, IMHO.

But it involves at some communal investigation. I've been to two gigs (at seperate ends of the country) and the only girl I've seen go backstage (besides Cherisse!) is Lollipop Girl both times. AND she left in his car with his family at one of them... (I saw cuz I was waiting outside afterwards to get his autograph ) What if LPG is his secret girlfriend? And this is how she tours with him? Why don't we take pictures of her at all the gigs and see if it's the same girl? I already noticed in the Paris gig photos that it's the same girl I saw in the UK. That's strange because you wouldnt pay for say, an actress, to travel around Europe and the States to hand out lollipops at the gigs since you could just take the costume and hire a local actress who (bonus) spoke the local language... AND Chew Chew seems to be a different person each time - see Guardian article where Mika says "we dont have a Chew Chew tonight". I really think this could be interesting... What do you think? Mika spies this is your top secret mission!

I agree. What I meant was, the bullying may have been exaggerated bc (as demonstrated here) lots of people can relate to that. But its true, there are lots of other ways that fans can relate to Mika. Still, in the context of a thread devoted to his "tough childhood" - I just dont think he had one for the reasons in my previous post. Mika RULES OK!

Yes, but not for Mika - he has no son with major problems/divorce... As for pushy showbiz mum...you may have a point. His mum is at a lot of his gigs, and for him to be on stage at the Royal opera House at 11, I guess that one must apply... Example of being a bit stuck up : M (while wearing expensive designer t shirt) : I'd rather you loved my t shirt or hated it. If I wanted you to think my t shirt was ok, I'd have gone to Marks and Spencers. I like MnS, and it's not as low as you can go if u cant afford designer, lol! But hey, if you can afford it, and you're dad's a millionaire - that's great. As I said - Mika is amazing, I love his music, I just dont think he had a rough childhood.

Yes, I was bullied at school and it was bad, but - like Mika - that was in junior school and it's a long time ago now. Plus, my parents made me go to school and deal with it, they didnt let me hide at home. I think I'm a stronger person for that. I think everyone should be careful what they believe in the press, sometimes artists have to say things just to build an image and gain popularity : the tortured outsider, poor-me, please love me more because... I mean, without that bullying thing, how could ordinary people like us relate to Mika given the other stuff we know about him? Did you read his earlier interviews? He can be quite a snob, even if he is funny... It's just a thought. I think Mika rocks. Please don't eat me for saying this! I just dont think had a tough childhood.

With Mika's massive tour coming up, how would you suggest the gigs could be improved? Anything that should definitely stay and maybe be made more of? Mika's concerts are amazing, I can't wait till he has more songs to sing though : it's always a bit short... Any other ideas?
