Mika is my hero

I can't believe Mika will be in Chicago twice within a year! This is too wonderful.

Okay, this is the first time I've been able to sit and post something. All of the details have been covered, so all I'll say is that this concert, although fantastic on its own, was made so much more memorable by the people that I met. You guys were all so fun to queue with and made the wait go by quickly and sharing the front row with you after nine hours of waiting was just perfect!! Alright, so I've done some searching, but can't find it anywhere. Does anyone know what songs usually play before shows? I know "The Bear Necessities" and "9 to 5" but what else is there?

Well, as much as I want to take credit for this, I can't. My friend, Maxwell Pierce, made it for me as a Christmas gift!! The center drawing is all lead and the outside pictures are block prints. It's prety fantastic!

My mom is almost as in love with him and his music as I am. She begged me to let her go with me to the Chicago gig My friends have all gotten used to his music and most actually like him. Today I learned that my three closest guy friends have Mika mix CDs in their cars so they can sing along while they drive. Their favorite song? Lollipop!! I knew there was a reason I loved them!

That was so much fun! So nice of Mika to come out and sign stuff, he didnt sound too good. He also stole my sharpie...

Less than 24 hours until I get to see all you wonderful people!!!!

So I got home from camping all weekend. The first thing my mom says is, "You know what's not fair? You get to go to the Mika concert. I wanna go!! And there are still tickets left!! Would you pleeease buy me and your dad tickets?!!!" Me: :blink: She is now screaming like a little girl...oh I love her!!

Thanks sooo much!! One of the people from my group is going to be there around one, so I'll tell her to look for you guys or, if she gets there before you, you could join with her or whatever. I cant beleive it's all really happening. It still seems too good to be true! I can not wait to see all you guys!!!!

I haven't gotten mine yet either. I'm starting to get a bit anxious. I just want to hold my tickets in my hands!

Yesterday while listening to TBWKTM in the car my mom suddenly said, "You know? I don't think I'd mind if I had to go to another Mika concert (she's been to two). In fact, I kind of wish I was going with you to the one in October. I'm jealous of you!!" I never thought I'd hear those words come out of her mouth!!

Mine arrived in the mail today!!! I wasn't expecting to get it so soon in the US! I don't even know what to say, coherent sentences are not forming in my head at the moment...Too much excitement!

I could just catch up with you all later. Man, I wish people would line up at the same time people did when Mika was at the Metro. I got there at 4 pm and was 15th in line! Somehow I don't think that'll happen again...

I won't be getting there until around 3:40 unfortunately, because of school.

How many people would you consider "acceptable" to cut in line? I think I just narrowed it down to four people!

Aww really?? I'd love to take you up on that offer, but i've got a rather large group coming with me, I don't think it'd be fair to just show up and cut in line with 8 people...

Yes!!! The tickets are ordered!! Wow I owe my parents a huge thank you, they're taking off work just to drive me there and back!! I love them!

OH MY GOODNESS!! I haven't laughed so hard out of pure joy in a long time! I have one of the jackets in the video! It's at nineteen seconds, the one that looks like a comic strip. I wore that jacket when I met him last year

I totally still have on of these!!! It looks awesome, but it's totally useless when it comes to making sno-cones. It takes about twenty minutes to get a cup full of ice

The first time I was kissed (I did not kiss back!!) was when I was 13 and I was sleeping over at a friends house. I was sleeping, and when I woke up my friend (female) was kissing me (Female!) That was the worst first kiss ever!! But since I didn't kiss back, I don't like to consider it my first kiss. My first was with a boy I've known since I was 5, but I only see him for one week every year because he lives on the other side of the country. But last summer we were sitting on the couch watching Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Man's Chest together, and he kissed me, and I kissed him. It was the most perfect first kiss, in my opinion.
